With Spring Trail Park along its east side and DFW International Airport on the west, Las Colinas is large, varied, and wildly popular. If location is everything, Las Colinas has it -- centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, providing fast access to the entire DFW Metroplex. This isn't your typical neighborhood -- Las Colinas is home to the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, North Lake College, and several golf courses and country clubs. The University of Dallas is located on the south end of the neighborhood.
Las Colinas is a planned community with a well-designed mix of office complexes, luxury hotels, trendy lofts, luxury apartment communities, and townhomes. Las Colinas is self-contained, providing a live-work-play environment. For those who don't want to commute into Downtown Dallas, Las Colinas is home to several Fortune 500 companies, including Kimberly-Clark, Commercial Metals, and ExxonMobil.

Property Ratings at The BLVD
Thin walls, get a 3rd floor if you must live here… you can hear every footstep taking place in the apartments above you if not! I swear the person above me river dances and jumps 24/7!! Super annoying! People are loud in the parking lot. One guy gets off his motorcycle and leaves the music on while he examines his boots. Very disappointing and ready to move. ??

We recently moved in and love it! When we moved in there was a couple minor things we wanted done to our apartment as far as painting and it was fixed immediately! They even offered to re clean the whole apartment. Recently we had a minor issue with parking and the property manager went above and beyond to make things right for her residents!! Very quiet, cozy complex. Very clean. All around wonderful apartment with fantastic staff!

Hello, Thank you so much for the amazing review. It brightens our day to see such a positive review and to hear you are happy with your apartment home. Please let me know if there is anything we can do for you in the future. Have a great day! Holly Willson Property Manager
The visitor parking policy in this apartment is absolutely ridiculous! I've lived in 4 countries and moved around quite a bit, but never witnessed such a harassing situation. It had been only a week since I moved into this apt and it happened to be my birthday eve when a couple of friend decided to visit me at 12am. Since I wasn't aware of this situation, out of all helplessness I took a leap of faith and placed a previously used parking pass in my friends car since obviously the leasing office was shut. No surprise, they tolled the vehicle within an hours time. We were running around the tolling service guys till 9am in the morning. I had the worst birthday experience of my life along with losing $250.

If you want to live peacefully better to avod this place, this place has lot of parking issues and management is very rude they have silly excuses and explanations regarding their parking constraints. Saying that we have enforced the parking to avoid others to park and all those silly excuses they ask bribe if you need anything to be done

I give this a poor rating due to the new management. They are rude and the new policies are stupid. The corridors have all sorts of insects and dust lying all around. You are responsible for the bulbs. If they dont work the next day you lease then you pay for them even if they put in cheap ones. The manager says she is swamped with work and cant address resident problem. We were group of friends who resided there and most lucky ones moved out and i will be moving out soon. Watch out for the snakes in the corridors especialy in building 4 and 6. The MCB will trip and u will loose power if you plan to press clothes or use the washer and dryer same time. The only good part is the units are new but the management is the worst of the lot. You wont like the treatment after you sign the lease.

Lakepointe at Las Colinas is in a great location. Our apartment backs up to a beautiful lake, and Lake Carolyn is a short walk away. Our neighbors are friendly for the most part, with only a few exceptions. Our apartment has a granite island and there are wood floors. Lakepointe is not without flaws, however. To begin, there are rodents inside and outside of the apartments. Our apartment has rats, and though management sent maintenance to plug the holes in our walls and pest control to place traps, the rats remain. Outside of our apartment, there are wasps that plague the apartments during the summers. At one point it was so bad that the wasps built their nests on my neighbors door. Parking is also a significant problem at LakePointe. There is not enough uncovered parking for all the tenants, so one is forced to purchase covered parking or a garage. And even if one owns a garage, as I do, there is not likely to be enough parking for friends if you choose to entertain. The rodents, pests, and problem parking have ensured that my stay near the lake has not been as enjoyable as I had hoped when first I decided to move here.

We appreciate you taking the time to respond. The staff at Lakepointe take our reviews very seriously. We always welcome constructive feedback that will help us better serve our communities. We value our residents at Lakepointe and pride ourselves on customer service within our community. Our management team will be notified of the issues and will promptly remedy your concerns. If you'd be willing though, we would love to talk directly with you and rectify these issues. Lakepointe, (214) 574-5353
I lived here for a year and had a great experience. The apartments are very new and have a nice lay out - great for roommates! I recommend purchasing covered parking or a garage so that you don't have to worry about any parking issues. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the employees in the leasing office are what make this place so desirable. If you have any issues, discuss these problems with the managers and they are more than willing to do everything they can for you. When we moved out, there was a minor issue. Their response to the issue was calculated, reasonable, friendly and fair! I appreciate how they run their property, and I will definitely live here again if I move back to the Las Colinas area.

When I first saw the model that they show to you, it really looks good the hallways were clean, because that's what they want you to see the good about the place, but they keep the bad & ugly from you. The hallways where I am is filthy with spills from tenants putting there trash outside the door and the trash leaks. The plumbing is horrible!! since we have been here we have had issues with clogs (tub & kitchen sink)( a running toilet) I only been here since June 2015 and when you call the office about the issues you are having the personnel act as if you are bothering them or say something to the affect, "Well the maintenance was here and they didn't hear or see anything wrong". I could care less about that, just because you don't see or hear what we are experiencing doesn't make it untrue, just fix the problem! And then you have some that bump the walls and stomp on the stairs. Never stay above anyone, because it is annoying when the Bigfoot person bump, stomps and make noise constantly and will you complain to this security office, he does absolutely nothing, just useless!!! Everything That Glitters Is Not Gold. Hey apartment leasing agents give us The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly side about your apartment complex. Just don't take us to the nice area of the complex take us to the not so good also, so we can make a decision based on everything that we see.
What I love about this proximity it is to major highways. It's located close to HW 114, Nothrwest HW, 635, and 35. If you work in downtown Dallas, or anywhere in north Dallas it'll be ideal because you can get there quicker. The apartment complex is relatively new, it has a gym that's open 24/7, an outdoor community grill, and also a pool. Apart from other small things, the only big negative I have of the place is the parking. There are limited visitor parking so it's hard to have anyone visit because they'll most likely not get a parking spot. They also tow..Last but not least you can always get someone at the office if you have any questions.
The apartments are located in a beautiful area in Las Colinas, Irving away from the noise and traffic of the city life. Minutes away from awesome restaurants and shopping center and walking distance to the metro. The grounds are well kept and clean. On the downside parking is a mess and only residents with assigned parking are better off. The walls are too thin and one can hear people talking outside from inside the apartment home. The hallways could use a power wash now and then.
This complex is centered in what I thought was a great neighborhood in Las Colinas. I was under the wrong assumption that wealthy people are more professional. Weekday and week nights all I hear is loud music and loud talking at various hours of the night. I've reported to staff and even contacted the courtesy officer.....still the same thing. This is by far the worst place I've ever lived and I've lived in some pretty bad places prior to my successful career. I can't wait until my lease is up, I'm saying goodbye to restless nights of little sleep.
