Legendary Americans from Frederick Douglass to Woodrow Wilson have called Dupont Circle home at various points over the past two centuries, and it continues to be a highly desirable place to live. The historic architecture of the neighborhood (particularly in the Victorian-era rowhouses) contributes to a distinctly European flair in much of Dupont Circle. This, combined with the presence of numerous foreign embassies and countless international restaurants, creates an unparalleled cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The dining scene also includes a vast selection of more traditional eateries, low-key coffee shops, and convenient grocery stores, giving most folks the option to pick up a quick bite to eat or a week’s worth of necessities with ease. For off hours, museums and galleries are close at hand, and the eclectic nightlife offerings span from alternative rock venues to glitzy clubs to high-end cocktail bars.

Property Ratings at The Bond
loved the years I lived at the bond. The apartments are great - stylish and comfortable. Everyone there is amazing and helpful - from Shelia at the front desk, to Marco and his maintenance team, to Mary Catherine and everyone at Aria Residential, they have made my time at The Bond enjoyable and convenient. Thank you!!
I am writing this at 4am in my bond apartment. The postal truck station next door is constantly making noises (day and night). In the apartment you can very clearly hear the engine running, trucks backing up (ridiculously loud beeping noise) and moving. Other than this the building is alright, but management should really invest in double pane windows or at least sealing the windows better (there are small gaps). Also, the refrigerators in this building are incredibly noisy too. Good luck to anyone trying to sleep in one of the studios. When my refrigerator makes noise I have to leave the room its so loud. Been living and sometimes sleeping with noise cancelling headphone (still not enough). Thank god my lease is up soon, cannot deal with all this noise pollution, its actually giving me headaches and making me lose sleep!
The location for this building is perfect if you want a quick walk to the metro and great restaurants. Right at the edge of Dupont Circle, close to Foggy Bottom and Georgetown. The apartments are all new and renovated with modern amenities.
