This apartment is very nice I got the 2 bedroom townhouse apartment in the back amd it'd amazing I have yhr best views especially on 4th of july it nice and quiet. Pet friendly witch is nice. I moved in it was clean and any problems I've had witch is rare they was meet with a quick response I love it here. Shopping is convenient and the school district is top tear for public schools me and my kids have enjoyed living here the pool is huge along with the other activities areas.

The rental rates are hard to beat. I found every amenity I could ask for, and done conveniences I hadn't dated to ask for, all for less than $1000 base rent. This location is very convenient, minutes from I-35, a grocery store literally right there, and minutes away from my favorite Kansas City points of interest. I haven't lived here yet, but I'm pumped to move in.

I have lived here for two years now and I just renewed my lease for another year. I love the layout of my unit and the close proximity to the highway, grocery stores, etc. The amenities are well kept and the maintenance crew is quick to resolve issues. My biggest complaint about this community is that nothing is done to keep dog owners responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. There are always multiple piles of dog waste within 8 feet from a pet waste trash can with complimentary pet waste bags for residents to use. As with every neighborhood, irresponsible members of the community make the nice green spaces less than ideal when you need to take your dog out, go for a walk, or when kids play outside.

The apartments themselves, while great, still have normal issues as expected for buildings of their age. But the maintenance team does an excellent job of resolving issues and repairing/replacing things when needed. The office team is kind and helpful - you can tell that good service is a priority. To my knowledge and from our experience, we've gained an asset with the new property manager, as she's gone above and beyond in making sure our biggest issues were taken care of and taken care of well. We've lived here for going on six years, and while it's been mostly for financial reasons of not being able to go anywhere else, I can honestly say that it's still been a choice to stay, because the good outweighs the bad. My personal opinion - it's not a negative to be truthful about the problems, but it definitely speaks volumes when the staff as a whole work hard to make sure the residents are not only happy to live here but *want* to live here. And I think that's being accomplished.

I had a problem with my AC over the 100 degree weekend I had to call maintenance and they was at my door within 20 mins and they had my problem fix with about 30 mins I will say they are fast and efficient at what they do and I as well as my kids really appreciated the fast hard work they did.

This complex is in a great place, close to the highway, reasonably priced, and it has good amenities, and even a nature walking path. It is not the most modern, but the pros outweigh the cons for sure.

I had a super easy time getting an apartment last minute. Very helpful on getting me set up and ready to move in. Maria and Nichole in the office were very patient over the 10 or more phone calls I made asking a bunch of questions! I was able to get moved in in about 5 or so days!

We began our application process in February for a move in date of April 13th. We were informed that the move in date could push back to the end of April, and we listed our house with that knowledge. We accepted an offer on our house with a close date at the end of April to accommodate the possible change in move in at The Boulevard. Weeks later we were informed the previous tenants refused to move out until the end of April, so we couldn't get in until the middle of May. We had to back out of our contract to sell, re-list the house, and accept a significantly lower offer to accommodate the new move in date. 2 days before we were supposed to move in (the same day our house closed) we were told the apartment might not be ready for an extra week. We managed to get it expedited, and when they pulled the carpet less than 24 hours before move in they found alleged safety issues that were neither fully explained or shown to us. The solution was to put my family in a smaller, second floor apartment (allegedly temporarily) at the last second. We will now have to move twice this summer, we had to get rid of our couch, we now have to pay for a storage unit for the items that don't fit in the smaller apartment we're currently staying in. We were made to feel like The Boulevard did us a huge favor by getting us into the smaller apartment on short notice, when that could have been avoided by pulling the carpet in the original unit 2 weeks before when it was vacated rather than the day before move in was scheduled. We have suffered financial and property losses, emotional distress, and are now constantly cramped in an apartment we don't fit in. There has been no effort to make anything right other than a promise of a 3 bedroom apartment in 4 months. We even requested just the two weeks in May be taken off our rent to compensate for everything and were denied because "we could just rent it our to someone else so why would we give you a discount?". Repeated attempts to reach out to NRED (ownership group) have gone unanswered and I have no faith that anyone located on property has the ability or wherewithal to make things right.

I’ve lived here only 3 weeks and I couldn’t be happier! I knew I’d love it from the time i applied but they’ve exceeded my expectations for sure! The staff (Sydney specifically and assistant manager Amy) are extremely helpful, professional, friendly and respond to all inquiries within a timely manner! I have only lived here less than 2 months and absolutely love it so far! The staff are super nice and helpful, the maintenance does such a great job in a timely manner, and they are super pet friendly! When I first walked in to apply for an apartment, the staff was super friendly as it was my first time ever applying for an apartment. They helped walked me through the whole process and showed me a tour of all the facilities. The facilities are definitely some of the best I’ve ever seen at an apartment complex, they just renovated the gym and pool area so it’s a must during summer. If a unit comes available I’d jump on the opportunity.

I've never lived anywhere this fun! Blvd has such fun events and the office people are so nice! The adults swim last summer was epic and we can't wait until beer and bingo starts up again. The location is perfect because we have family in downtown KC but also in Gardner and it's so nice to live so close to Aldi and Price Chopper. We only plan to leave Blvd when it's time to buy a house in a few years, but until then, we are so happy here!

This apartment complex deserves 1 star for at least being on top of communication up until 1 week before moving in. Aside from that, there is nothing good here. When looking at the model apartment (prior to agreeing to move) I said I wanted updated flooring and a balcony. If I could get those things, I’d move in. My leasing agent told me she found the “perfect” apartment for me and I trusted her word and decided to move. She was great at getting everything over to me and making sure I had everything taken care of in advance of moving in. This is where the nightmare starts! Just walking up the stairs to my apartment was a disappointment. The railing on the sidewalk up was rusted and broken. It’s honestly a safety hazard because you’d gal trying to hold onto it and the metal could cut your legs open. Super unsafe if you have kids (which there are several that play around outside). The railing at the top of the stairs and my address plate were COVERED in cobwebs. Enter my apartment and I have old, weird pink tones carpet and stained vinyl flooring. Immediately I regretted moving here. The floors under the carpet had to be broken or close to falling apart. I’ve never heard such loud creaky/crumbling floors in my apartment living life. The only area where the vinyl wasn’t stained or peeling up was the bathroom. My balcony railing was covered in cobwebs and there was no attempt to clean up dead leaves around the air conditioning unit. I had 5-7 1inch holes in the ceiling where the washer/dryer go and the light outside my from door was exposed, allowing it to be half filled with dead bugs. Everything was so dismal that I terminated my lease agreement after FIVE days. The complex blamed these issues on it being an old complex, even though they show new features on their website and in person then fall through on promises. I’ve been trying to email the Property Manager, Courtney, who has lost all professionalism in her emails. She no longer adds a signature so I don’t even know if she’s the one I’m talking to. She no longer responds to my emails without me having to send 1-2 follow-up emails asking for a response. I’m supposed to get my full deposit back within 14-30 days, but I’m completely doubting their word at this point.

I Love this place!!!! They are great people here they really care about what they do and the needs for their residents here. I couldn't ask for any place better. Everyone is super nice and very friendly. And its VERY Quite great place for my family.

They really care about the residents. They love doing events for everyone! Gym and pool are very nice and they have a dog park for the doggies.

You can't beat this location, right of I35 and minutes from down town. So many places with in walking distance. My big dog is welcomed and there is a walking trail in the back plus a huge dog park! The price is right!

Huge pool and fitness center has a personal trainer! My neighbors are cool and location is amazing. Older apartments but maintenance is good and my rent is fair.

Honestly one of the worst apartments I have ever lived in. When my roommate and I moved in, it was absolutely disgusting and not even livable. We had to go to IKEA for 6 hours just for them to clean the spiderwebs and actually clean the apartment. I have severe asthma and the vents were coated in dust and mold. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they opened the apartment complex. No joke, we had a single spaced list of everything wrong front and back. Including in that list was complete water damage that they pretty much left so it molded everything and they had to replace our entire cabinets. Promised new appliances that never happened. Management is crap. The only thing that made the apartment bearable is that their maintenance staff is top notch. Nicest people I have ever met and they run that apartment complex. If you are thinking of moving here, DONT. They had the nerve after to pretty much take our entire security deposit. My advice is to take your money and use it somewhere else.

Compared to reviews in 2014, these apartments are pretty nice in 2020. Pros: Neighborhood feels safe, and my unit is quiet at night. Rodents/bugs have not been an issue yet, but I’ve only been here 1 month (July). I’ve had one maintenance request so far, and they came within a few days and were very flexible when I needed to reschedule. Management is awesome and seems really engaged with residents. Sydney is great at her job, and I enjoyed meeting the rest of the team as well. Cons: My apartment wasn't as nice as the unit they showed me during the tour, but that’s expected. The a/c is really loud, so you have to have your tv volume up to the max in order to hear it in your living room. The walls are kind of thin, but the a/c muffles a lot of the noise. Maintenance didn’t give me warning before coming to fix something, but they were nice enough to reschedule for a later time.

I've lived at The Boulevard twice now - once with my sister in 2013, and currently with my boyfriend. Both experiences have been good so far! The amenities are definitely a plus. Crystal and Amber at the office are great and always willing to help!

The office staff is fast and friendly to handle my issues. We love the Olympic sized pool and the fitness center. The dog park is HUGE and the events they have are fantastic. Definitely worth it.

The boulevard is a great place to live ..the staff is really helpful and attentive.. and maintenance does a great job responding to ur needs...Heather is great in the office..she makes sure that any problems u may have gets taken care of in a timely fashion and she is very helpful in guiding u in anything related to ur rent..overall my experience at the boulevard has been a good one.

I've been at the boulevard for 4 years and it's a really great place to live. The layout of the apartments is really nice and they're very flexible to work with. Maintenance can be a bit spotty if you're not on top of it, but otherwise they're really excellent. The location is fantastic, and the grounds are really pretty. Yeah, there are parking lots, but pretty much every apartment looks out onto some kind of green space with trees, and they keep the landscaping in good shape. They're very quick and responsive to requests/issues, too.
