Champlin is a small, triangular city lying along the Mississippi River about twenty miles north of Minneapolis. The city is bordered on the west side by Elm Creek Park Reserve, a huge wooded area full of trails, lakes, and open spaces to explore and enjoy. A large section of the reserve juts into the city as well, providing those renting in Champlin with easy access to the solitude of nature. Due largely to the city’s close proximity to the river, boating and fishing are popular pastimes among locals. The Bowline is an exceptional community to call home. The staff is friendly and very responsive. The building is beautiful inside and out. The location is perfect with so many restaurants, bars, and activities within walking distance.

When it comes to apartment complexes, it doesn't get better than The Bowline at Mississippi Crossings. I've lived at other "luxury" apartments in nearby towns, but none have compared to this place. The Bowline is beautiful, inside and out, and kept extremely clean. Not only does it have an impressive list of amenities, but its location is super convenient, the building is secure, the garage is heated, the views of the river are gorgeous, the activities are fun, the staff is amazing, maintenance is helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. It has been so comforting to come home these past 9 months. I've always been the anti-social/homebody type. For the first time, I feel an actual sense of community instead of just living amoungst a bunch of strangers. Between the wonderul events they have for the residents, the Bowline Facebook group chats, or just the shared elevator rides.. everyone has been so friendly and kind. There are too many nearby businesses and activities within walking distance for me to list. Just know that there is a lot you can do here to keep you entertained, especially during the summer. You'll never want to leave once you move in! It's worth every penny!

Living here has been wonderful. My husband and I have lived here for almost year now and we only have positive things to say about it. A couple months in, my sister needed to move in and the transition was very smooth and painless. Staff is incredibly helpful and respond quickly to requests. We are especially grateful to Matt for taking care of our maintenance requests and going above and beyond our expectations. The community is great as well. Everyone is generally very fun and inviting. The apartments also host regular events for the residents which are expertly organized by Marty Jo, Tiffany, and Leslie. Even if I'm not familiar with anyone in attendance, I know they will always make me feel welcome. Life has been very peaceful here and I would recommend the Bowline to anyone who is looking for a place to live.
I’ve had an amazing experience living at the Bowline. From the day I moved in, the staff has gone above and beyond to make me (and my golden retriever) feel at home. Their friendliness and dedication to making the building run smoothly really makes a difference. They also offer a variety of social events that really make it feel like a community and make it a lot of fun to get to know everyone in the building. Highly recommend the Bowline to anyone looking for a fun and well maintained building with great amenities!
I’ve lived at the Bowline for about 6 months and I’ve really enjoyed it. All the public spaces and event rooms are kept clean. The heated garage is great for the winter.
I’ve been here since October , and love it every day! The gym is fantastic, staff is always available, and people who live here are friendly. The apartments are great , very quiet , super views. I can’t wait until summer for live music at night on the Mississippi, also the pool, fire pits , and pickle ball courts will reopen
I just renewed my lease for the 3rd year. I absolutely love it here and for many reasons! The apartments / floorplans are spacious. The quality of the materials and appliances are top notch. It is very modern looking and best of all it feels like home! The Bowline has multiple amenities ranging from theater room, outdoor pool, pickle ball courts and a gym just to name a few. There are also multiple events that the staff host, which is a great way to meet your neighbors and socialize. Aside from all the "physical & visual" items the Bowline has to offer, I feel one of the greatest things is the staff (Office and Maintenance). They are not only friendly, but you can tell they take pride in their property and their jobs. Maintenance and office staff are quick to respond to any issues or questions you may have. Both office staff and maintenance play a huge part in why this property is so successful! If you are looking for an apartment, I strongly recommend you check out the Bowline - you will not be sorry!
I have lived at The Bowline since July/2024. It is my pleasure to enthusiastically recommend this community. After going through a divorce, I admit I was not looking forward to moving into an apartment. However, I am so thankful to have found The Bowline Community. Our management team is very responsive and so friendly. The apartments are sparkling clean, with the building and grounds very well maintained. We have a beautiful view of the Mississippi River, while conveniently located minutes from Downtown Minneapolis. The new Jensen's Market is an added bonus. The community is very dog friendly, with a dog spa room. Finally, the workout room is incredible with a full line of state of the art exercise equipment. This has helped me to lose weight and get back in shape. I am planning to renew my lease this summer. I strongly recommend checking out The Bowline!

Hi, here at the bowline there is always fun events that you can be apart of like pancakes and mimosas or little farmer markets or fun pool days. It is fun to feel like you are part of a neighborhood and that things are generally really clean. The apartment is reasonably priced and the staff works hard to not only keep public places clean but to manage maintenance efficiently and quickly. My dishwasher broke and it was fixed within 24 hours. The apartments is a good place for any range of adults in any stage of there life. It’s cool because I have met some really cool neighbors and I think you would be a really good fit too so u should join.
I was fortunate enough to find a place at the bowline! I transferred jobs and had to move states. This place has everything you could need and more! The staff is amazing and the amenities are very convenient! It makes meeting your New Year’s resolutions easier!

The amenities are amazing, they have everything from a state of the art fitness center to a resort style pool. You practically never have to leave your home . The management staff is so attentive and really care about their residents. Best of all the sense of community is truly astounding. The monthly resident events and gatherings are so much fun and a great way to get to know your neighbors! I can’t say enough good about this place that I call home! I’ve been living in this building for over three years now I was one of the first to move in and I love it here. I’ve had the pleasure of watching this community grow and thrive. The management team is wonderful. They are so attentive and helpful. They are always putting together fun events to make the community feel like home, There are free concerts in the park right on the river Fun food trucks are always around wonderful farmers market in the summer just steps out of front door, Also, Fantastic, if you need to find some quiet outdoor space. The building is very well maintained, and I feel safe. The amenities at this building awesome If you are looking In this area and want a great place to live I highly suggest checking out The Bowline Mississippi Crossing
This is my first year living at the Bowline and I can’t say enough good things about it. It is always clean around the building and updated regularly which I appreciate since I use so many of the amenities. Maintenance is always quick to respond for any thing that comes up as well. If you are looking for an upgrade, I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely love this apartment complex! The staff is fantastic - always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The amenities are a major plus, especially the movie theater room. My boyfriend and I have a blast playing Mario Kart there. Couldn't be happier with my decision to live here!

This place is easily the best place I have lived. It’s nice the kitchen is great, the amenities are amazing. Most importantly the staff is hands down the best in property management, very pet friendly and everyone is genuinely nice.
My husband and I have lived here almost two years and probably going to renew for a third. The entire staff is so caring and amazing. They all truly want the best for you! Leslie, the guest experience manager is absolute wonderful, not only is she the kindest person ever , but organizes these amazing events , where the community gets together , socializes and gets free food ! I've been here since it opened and it's been a great experience. Having lived in a house over the last few decades, I was nervous about moving back into an apartment, but the staff keeps it clean and quiet and are very attentive if anything needs repair. Even though I don't use the amenities as much as I'd like, I frequent the workout room often and it is always spotless. I've really enjoyed my time here.
I have lived at the Bowline since its opening in 2022 and I have nothing but great things to say! The staff are friendly, the facilities are always well kept and clean, and it’s in a very convenient neighborhood. Pet friendly with great walking trails near by and noise canceling walls to block out traffic from 169! The pool is great and the BBQ place next door is delicious . Definitely a great place to live, would highly recommend to friends and family!

I've got my grandparents to come over and play pickle ball and hangout at the pool and they love it! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I have been at the Bowline apartment since it opened. Management does an outstanding job of communicating current & future events that they offer the residence including any building updates. Maintence keeps everything up to date and responds quickly to any building needs you request. I have been very lucky to wake up every day looking at the river. I just renewed my lease for another year. I'm very please and you would be too.
My favorite thing about this place is that it’s quiet and beautiful. As someone who doesn’t own a pet, I sometimes forget it’s pet friendly. Pet owners are really respectful when sharing space. Maintenance is amazing! Everyone that works here is amazing and fast! They host a ton of fun events. The courtyards and community areas are always neat and clean. We’re right next to Mississippi Crossing and close to Downtown Anoka so theres plenty to do. Proud to call this place home.
Love the Bowline! The decor and atmosphere is cute and chic, up to date. It smells good inside! That was a huge thing for me if I was going to live in apartments. Location is super prime and convenient. Staff is super great, responsive, and always trying to put together events to get the community together. Definitely recommend!

Bowline is more than an apartment, it’s a community! From the beautiful shared spaces to thoughtful events monthly, it is truly a place that fosters connection and activity with its residents. Beyond the connection aspects, the apartments are simply stunning. Sleek modern designs that are meant to be lived in. Lastly, what makes the bowline so great is its location. You can get to the cities in 15 minutes, Maple Grove in less, and Anoka is a short walk away. Right next to the river it is a perfect place to walk or bike. Target is just down the road for those last minute trips and the main road has two easy access points. It’s perfect for older people looking for a place to connect or relax with retirement, families with kids to enjoy the pool and kid friendly events, and 20-30 somethings who are working and want a safe place to come home to. The bowline is truly magic and I recommend it to everyone I tell about it. From the moment you have a tour you feel like you belong. Thank you Bowline for being the place to be!
Lovely place to live! They host events twice a month for us and really allow the building to feel like a community. Plus, the office and maintenance are always speedy with email response and maintenance repairs. No complaints! Especially with Mississippi Crossings being a quick walk away.
