Ephrata/Brownstown/ Leola is a region about 60 miles west of Philadelphia. The area is home to both residential areas and modern amenities. Residents have access to premier healthcare provided by Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. Shopping centers like Cloister Shopping Center and Lincoln Mall are scattered throughout the area providing big-box and locally owned shops and eateries. Property Ratings at The Bradford Apartment Homes
I have been dealing with a leak in my apartment for a month. It’s a one bathroom and there is currently an inch of water on the floor due to a leak. The on-call maintenance never answers at night and after a month of this, the leak continues to be unattended.
I cant tell you how many times I’ve tried to call them to even get info about renting…I’ve left a dozen messages and have never received a response. I don’t know why they bother to advertise if they never even return a phone call.

On site staff was nice and helpful but that’s about it. Trash/litter throughout property. Every single unit has a different color roof with patches on them. Roofs were worn out about 10 years and covered with black mold/mildew. Overhangs have failing paint. Unit mailboxes and front doors haven’t been replaced since they build this place. HVAC ducts jammed full of dust and clearly never cleaned. To be honest the place looks abandon and trashy from the main road and somewhat embarrassing to have guests over due to outside appearance. Lawn care seems kept up well overall. Rent is high compared to local comps. Loud cars of other tenants race through neighborhood all hours. So much room for improvement but don’t see owners turning place around. Would be nice to see this property bought and managed by a company that cares and reinvests into their buildings and preventative maintenance. Gold crest is not that company.
IF I COULD GIVE -0- STARS I WOULD. I DO NOT RECOMMEND...…..I lived at The Bradford for two years and not by choice I was stuck there due to the lack of rentals in the area. Maintenance is non existent , you hear every noise your neighbor makes, you will shovel your own snow and make sure to buy ice melt because they will not come out to make sure the sidewalks are safe, but you will get curtsey emails telling you wear proper shoes while walking outside since the sidewalks are slippery, you have one numbered parking spot but 80 % of the time you come home and your lovely neighbors or their guest are using your spot its okay though because you also get to fight over the blank spots as well. the plumbing is so bad that your neighbors water sometimes drains into your sink toilet tub or kitchen sink I had to throw out ALL of my kitchen pot and dishes because I had some brown water leaking down into my cabinets and into my pots, pan, dishes and utensils. I waited three month for them to replace my dryer and they waited for my upstairs neighbor to move out to bring their dryer down from upstairs. when they told me they where waiting on the delivery of my new dryer and that's why they where taking so long. The amount of dust that accumulates in the vents is ridiculous and in the time that I lived there they did not change the air filters. The bulb in the small hall way popped every time the upstairs neighbor banged really hard so I just stopped replacing it. I can keep going and going over the time, money and energy I wasted. I will not recommend anybody to this rental property. They will not help you with any concerns in a timely manner , but the certainly make sure you don't forget that you need to pay them but they forget to maintain there property. Lets not forget that during Covid shut down they did not care what your financial circumstances where they continue to add fees to your rent to put you into more DEBT. I am glad to be moved out and paying half in rent for a 10x the amenities like my own drive way and proper plumbing. Good Riddance !!!
Pretty awful experience all around. Rent is way too high for what you get. I'm currently living in a nicer apartment in the city and my monthly rent is still less than what I was paying at the Bradford. Additionally, my AC never worked properly in the 2 years that I lived there even after sending in maintenance requests.

I went to tour a 2 bedroom apartment and called to ask where the leasing office was. Was told to stay where I was an someone would get me. 45 minutes later called again and wasn’t given much help, so I drove around and found the office only to be told there were no 2 bedroom apartments even available to tour for the next month. Yikes

I love living at The Bradford, it is so peaceful and quiet. They have an amazing staff and Lauren is awesome. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. The grounds are always kept clean and the neighborhood is great.

I couldn't get out fast enough. My biggest complaint is simply this. Fleas. There was no avoiding them, because the grass was never treated, and never cut short enough. I payed a $600 pet deposit, and $75 extra a month for my two pets. I have never had flea problem before, and once we moved my dog became infested, and they jumped onto my cat right away. I tried flea collars, topical treatments, and shampoos. I gave them oral medication to remove the pests. I treated my apartment time and time again, using powders and chemicals and covered every inch of the place. But nothing was enough. Any time I walked my dog he brought more of the pests inside. As if that wasn't bad enough, things got worse. After moving out, three weeks went by before they told me I needed to pay an additional $150 for a flea treatment. No one was in the apartment for 3 weeks. No pets, no nothing. And the infestation stayed. So they blamed my pets. Now I am currently flea free, but my pets ended up with tapeworms from the initial flea infestation. This is not what I call pet friendly This is ridiculous. If you care about your pets health don't go near this place.

We're now into our 3rd year living at the Bradford and love it just as much as we did the first day we moved in. This place is truly a great place to live. The office staff is amazing. I'm so thankful for Amanda. She knows how to brighten a dark day with positive, motivating and inspiring words. I think that the team here is not just interested in the rent you pay each month. They ensure that you are well taken care of. Maintenance is simply amazing. Carlos came out a few weeks ago and took care of all my concerns. He is really knowledgeable and very efficient. He was also very patient and took the time out to explain things to me. Last night I had to call maintenance again. Johnny came out right away and was very kind and patient as he took care of my little issue. Again he took time out to explain things to me even though it was late and cold outside. We moved here in november2012 from new jersey. we have seen a lot of changes in this time period. we have had a lot of different maintenance men in this time period. Some were good, some were bad. The maintenance man we have now, Americo, is the best on we have had. it seems like if something needs fixing, no matter how small it may be, he has it corrected in no time. The office personnel are very helpful, especially Amanda. if you report someviolations to her she gets right on it. on the negative side the landscapers that were hired do a terrible job. the grass doesn't even look like it was cut after they are done. some of the new trees that were planted look like they are falling over. the playground and the basketball court is still not finished. The pool area is an improvement over last year. my biggest gripe is the people that have more than 2 cars in the parking lot. we have people next door to us that none of their cars have parking permits. Overall we do enjoy living here.

We have been living in Chelsea Village for a little over 4 months now, and so far so good! We love the peace and quiet it offers, and our apartment is nice for an older building! Maintenance has been fairly quick to respond to any issues, and Katrina in the office is wonderful! This is our first time out on our own, and we are highly satisfied with Chelsea Village. Bonus: There's a bar right behind our apartment and a bridge that leads right to it...can't beat that!
