We're only minutes away from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona State, the World's Most Famous Beach and the Daytona Beach International Airport. Property Ratings at The Breakers Apartments
I love it here. From the moment I started working with Sheri I knew that this place was for me. She and everyone else at The Breakers are so on top of everything and are very pleasant to work with. My maintenance requests are handled immediately as well. The property is beautiful and I love the body of water behind my apartment where I can sit out on my screened-in balcony and relax as I look at the wildlife. It's a great gem in the quiet part of the Daytona Beach area. I highly recommend it.
As a result of hurricane Irma My family was forced to move. We were so stressed and disheartened having lost everything we had. We had nowhere to go and The Breakers took us in and made the transition super easy. They were extremely caring and sensitive to our situation. Three years later they have been nothing short of amazing. The rare mishap was always remedied right away. The staff from office to maintaince is awesome! Regular pest control and NO bugs!!! I very much enjoyed my time living at The Breakers. The staff in the office (I mostly dealt with Sarah) was outstanding and very friendly. The maintenance and grounds crew kept the place up nicely. The accommodations and facilities were very good. And the pricing was solid as well. Moving in was super smooth - as was moving out. If I ever moved backed to the area, the first place I would look at would be The Breakers.
I am a refugee from Hurricane Irma and was taken in by the kind staff here while I was under great stress. They were welcoming and reassuring, and this attitude has continued to today. The apartments are lovely, the neighbors very friendly-even their dogs are happy and well behaved. The grounds landscaping is out of this world. The lake in the center has a resident otter and I enjoy feeding the ducks by hand. Rent here and throw your suitcases away.
I recently moved to the Breakers, so far I have not had any complaints. The apartment it self is perfect, the staff in the office are very pleasant and helpful which made the move in process very smooth. I suggest the beakers if your looking for a nice place to live.
I used to live here so glad I dont anymore. My apartment got broken into. Cars always getting stolen or broken into. Police records filed. Fleas bedbugs and alot of roaches i have pictures of. The place is infested. I had to get rid of almost everything when i moved. Mangement does nothing but scam people out of money. My Ac was broken for about a month they gave me a fan for the carpet because it was leaking water everywhere. Then charged me for the carpet that the Ac messed up when I left. Scammers currently sueing them took forever because the company goes by so many different names. Even the courthouse could see they are scammers.
Looks ok at first, turned out to be a pain. Dishonest management, theft/crime is very high in this area. Think twice before signing a lease. This area has so many other options for apt rentals.

We wish we could address your comment as to our site-management but without details; we have no way to assist you as to your concern. We recently did have a change of site-management due to relocations and staff opportunities; we welcome you to check out the new staff. We have a resident survey form that is reviewed by corporate management; we welcome your comments/concerns and will respond to all inquiries. We work closely with the Daytona Beach Police Department and will continue to do so to deter crime and be as preventative as possible.
This apartment is ok. Was cheaper than most places in daytona then they rasied the rent. Now its alot more crime good they fixed that. The gates are a pain unless you pay 100 for a remote non refundable.

We price our apartment homes to always be competitive based on our local market; we feel you will see that many others are more expensive. We heard our residents as to the entrance gates; they were not providing any additional value to our residents and became more of a time burden. The gates have been removed and we will be making additional entrance improvements later this year.
