The office staff is rude slow they take their time at everything and they lie to you about how much you’re going to pay until you get in pay their application fee and then they raise the rent of what you’re gonna get then lie to you about how much you gotta pay upfront until you get they get their money and then they wanna lie You need to find new staff members for inside your office. They’re very rude. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Stay away from this property beside all the nasty facilities roaches no maintenance and extremely unprofessional staff I had live in this heat for alm9st a month with no front window do your self a favor keep going. You will find more comfort in projects than you would here

Too many roaches! And you pay every month for pest control but NONE of the pest are under control and the apartment knows and they just don't do anything it's sad because other wise this a nice location
Stayed here with a friend for a few months no washer & dryer & stove hasn’t been working for 6 months. 6 MONTHS!!! Every time a ticket is put in they close it && then when we call the leasing agent is just like “oh we’ll check on it” HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE Definitely NOT luxury apartments AT ALL
I have had issues with my truck almost being broken into twice, rodents running around my second story bedroom ceiling, roaches, mold being painted over, and now my apartment is getting up to 81 degrees and they are not making any attempts to fix it. I’m currently in a struggle contacting them everyday to get it fixed, I absolutely do NOT recommend this place!
I live here and have a family member and Friends that lives here and they are infested with roaches and rats!! I’ve spoken with other people and the water is always off and the water bill is always outrageously high! You try to speak to the manager and she’s never in the office. So guess what nothing gets done you get the run around. I can’t wait for my lease to be up to get out of here. Ask people that live here, this place has gone down hill since Cathy left!
I am a current resident I stay with my girlfriend and I want to say the property is very quiet and relaxing with this gorgeous lake we have. Before my girlfriend moved here back in June of this year we went to look at the surrounding properties near The Breakers but none with the view and we fell in love with this property. The ladies in the office and maintenance are always nice and work orders are done in a timely manner. I want to give The Breakers a good review its not fair that only people that probably was told to leave the property or non rent payers put my place a bad review. I recommend The Breakers.
Ever since the first day of move in I seen several roaches. My move in day had been pushed back several times after already paying all my money and when there was finally an available apartment it had been a tennent in there two days before. I complained to the office about that and several other things. They sent pest control out to spray 2 or 3 sprays and that did nothing. Each day the amount of roaches, ants, and spiders increased to where I was scared to live on the property. I have videos of maybe 30 roaches coming out my bathtub alone and I kept my apartment clean. That was only one of many problems. I’m paying for luxury & can’t even have company over. I will say the new management is 10 times better then when Ms. Kathy was there and hopefully the new apartment models are not Roach infested. They offered to help the situation but I was over the complex. Other then that the neighborhood as a whole is perfect and quite.
I want to say that this property is so quite and peaceful, I been living here for 6 years and I see more and more updates throughout the years. At first I was scared about the new management but I was wrong they are loving and my work orders are done. The maintenance team and the ladies in the front have helped me a lot with my new remodeled apartment that I transferred too, LOVE the granite counter tops and new everything I truly recommend you to live here.
The property is beautiful!! Loved the renovations! The piers on the lake, wow. This place is hidden, and quiet ??. The three ladies in the office are very helpful and sweet. Can't wait to move to this location!
The property is nice, however, their management is unorganized and unprofessional. They claim to have renovated units, but i have attempted to view one of them three different times to be told they had a couple available over the phone to having none when we went up there for a tour. they have not updated their pictures of the units on their website but are still asking for higher rent when they won't offer viewings of their renovations. Basically, they are asking for luxury priced rent for apartments that i have only seen with old carpet, twenty year old appliances and stained counter tops. If, by chance, you do manage to get a legit tour of a renovated apartment, good luck getting through the gate. Every time we have been, a resident has let us in because the office will not answer the call to open the gate. if their management treats future residents as if they don't matter, i can't imagine how they treat their actual residents.
My Wife and I have lived here for about 1 1/2 years. We started in a 1 bedroom and upgraded to a 2 bedroom back in June. The lake is beautiful and has many species of fish such as Bass and Gar. The ducks are wonderful and they are mostly Muscovy ducks. The maintenance people are prompt and efficient. Most things are fixed or replaced the same day. Parking is not assigned so first come first serve for the better spots. They will put up handicapped parking signs if requested. They have many police officers living here including a courtesy officer. Biggest issue is that Texas City doubled the water bill by zoning it as Commercial property instead of residential. Please note that Hurricane Harvey did not flood any of the apartments even though the lake rose about 5 feet above normal. This is amazing considering places 5 or 6 miles from here were under 10 feet of water. There were a few cars flooded since the parking lots were flooded in places. Overall I would say this is a nice place to live.
