I recently moved into The Brix Apartments, and my transition was incredibly smooth. Supriya was there every step of the way—on the day I dropped off my deposit, the keys were in my hand, and my apartment was all set and ready for move-in. I moved into a studio apartment, and I’m amazed at how spacious it is. I have all my furniture set up exactly how I wanted, and there’s still plenty of room for friends and family to move around comfortably. I've now been living here for three weeks, and I felt it was time to write this review. I have rented various properties for over 15 years, and I can confidently say that this property deserves 5 stars. It is affordable, clean, and consistently well-maintained. The management team is exceptional, and they meet all my needs through clear and prompt communication. Overall, The Brix Apartments has been perfect for me, and I highly recommend it!
I recently moved into the Brix apartment and have had a great experience so far! The responses are quick and kind, the move-in process was smooth, and the room is clean and comfortable (seems to be fully renovated recently). What is the greatest for me is that they kindly helped me a lot who came from a foreign country recently and are not accustomed to life in the US. I will be able to start my life in the US comfortably. Thank you so much.
The rent here is a great price for Dallas but it comes at a cost. The biggest problem for me is not having AC from November to April. In Texas. The apartment itself is what it looks like in the pictures minus the roaches. It took a couple of weeks of pouring boric acid everywhere to get rid of most of them. The laundry machines are decent but they're detached from the apartments and coin operated so mildly inconvenient. All in all you get what you pay for, but if I could afford to move out, I would like to.

We are on a chiller/boiler system and unfortunately there are a few days of discomfort during the switchover from chiller to boiler and from boiler to chiller. Yes, it is a very cost-efficient system and keeps the energy bills low. We are sorry to hear that you have had a problem with roaches. We have a professional pest control company, and we will treat your apartment if we are notified of it. Please do not attempt to use boric acid or any other chemical to treat it yourself since the treatment may not be effective. We would appreciate it if you contacted the office to report roach issues (these could be because of your neighbors' housekeeping issues, and the problems will continue unless you report it to us, and we inspect your neighbors' apartments). We were Property of the Year in 2021 and we take pride in maintaining our property and taking care of our residents. Posting an online review will not help with your pest issues. Please contact the office so we can help with any concerns you have. Thank you for being our resident and we hope to hear from you so we can address your concerns and treat your apartment.
Move in was simple and no complaints almost two months in
I just recently moved in to the Brix apartments from out of state and I don’t think this process could have been any smoother. Emma was monumental and making me feel comfortable and at home. I haven’t felt this comfortable this fast in a living environment before so mad props to the staff here!

In terms of price, the studio apartments at The Brix are by far one of the best deals near UT Southwestern, but what really stands out with this complex is how well organized the management is. Emma and Supriya run a very tight ship - throughout the leasing process, they were always efficient and responsive by text and email, and were 100% on top of what needed to be done before my move in date. I've lived in several other complexes in the Cedar Springs road area where this was not at all the case, so The Brix' management style is a welcome change! I've just moved into the apartment, but so far so good - apartment was very clean and in good order, property is neat and well maintained.
Emma and Luke are really on top of things here. You dont have to worry about trying to get a hold of management here. My work orders gets completed in like 2 days max. The apartments are clean and well kept. They renovated this place like 2~3 years ago. If you don't mind using the laundry mat and not having a gate this is a really great deal. The apartment complex is located in between other apartment complex and residential houses so its relatively safe. Utilities are shared among the residents so it fluctuates each month. Overall I am happy with my decision. Totally recommend this place.
All the staff that I’ve talked with, whether over the phone or in person, are very nice and very helpful. When I arrived at the apartments, Emma helped me out with the whole move-in process and she answered all the questions that I had for her. The community is nice and quiet, and the apartment itself was very clean and everything was working properly. For my first time leasing any apartment, I am very pleased with my experience here at the Brix!
The Brix isn't necessarily a super fancy or luxurious apartment complex, but it's a great place if you're looking for an affordable, quality apartment in a relatively centralized area of Dallas. The management is very responsive, kind, and works to resolve any issues you have. I also appreciate the quality of the kitchen. I haven't had any problems with loud neighbors or bugs or anything of the sort. I only say 4 stars due to the lack of amenities, but that positively contributes to the reasonable rent.
I have lived in a few apartments before coming to the Brix and this takes the spot for the best and I am not surprised at all that they are finalists for the Property of the Year award. From the apartment, to the staff, to their messaging system, it has been an overall amazing experience and I have only been here for a month. There is a reason they have high reviews, and I would definitely recommend living here to anyone who is looking!
This community is great! The management is absolutely phenomenal and their service is excellent. Every apartment has been renovated with gorgeous granite countertops. You can also find everything you need within a short distance. I truly loved the last 3 years I spent at The Brix and would still be there had I not had to move for work.
Emma is super helpful and super nice/friendly. She’s been in touch with me and making sure I understand everything under their lease & what I’m going to be expecting upon moving in. Emma is always there to answer questions, whether it’s emails, their text line or phone call. I’m excited and looking forward to moving in. I’ll come back in a few months to review my living at The Brix.
This apartment is super convenient if you work at one of the local hospitals. Very centralized to every in Dallas. I would recommend these apartment 100% of the time.
I recently moved in and so far have been very impressed with the Brix. The staff is kind and easy to reach. If you catch them at a moment where they are not in the office they’re just next door at Bellaveux. Everyone does thorough work to make sure residents have a good experience. When I completed the move in paperwork and checked for any damages or issues, there was almost nothing to mark down and my only notes were resolved the same day. The studio feels surprisingly spacious and has a huge closet! Rent is more expensive than I was used to paying in a small town, but for the area it is one of the lowest rates I have seen while still maintaining excellent condition. Very quiet and has lots of security cameras. Thanks Supriya and Emma!
Apartments appeared good but found the following issues: - Have seen a few huge roaches around the property (are able to get into apartment). - No one is ever in the office - do not abide by posted hours - Kitchen has no drawers and unusable cabinet space - Experienced multiple maintenance issues - water/electric/laundry rooms.
This place is in a great location in Uptown. The unit was clean and safe and the staff at the office were always friendly and super helpful to me. They are very professional and always treated me well. I lived there for 2 years and I really enjoyed my time there. It was really the perfect place for me to be at for this period in my life. I would highly recommended it to anyone because its a very classy establishment with nice neighbors as well. I never had any issues with noise or loud music and its definitely a very nice community to live in. The Brix Apartments was an absolutely fantastic place to live. I very rarely leave reviews, but this complex truly deserved it. First, the apartments themselves are perfect. They were recently redone so on the inside they are very clean and modern feeling. In addition, we never once had any maintenance issues. The complex is very quiet and safe. Definitely a GREAT apartment for the price. Second, the location is fantastic. Great access to UTSW, Uptown, etc. All this said, the best part of the apartment complex is definitely the management. Management was always extremely responsive and very very helpful.
My boyfriend and I had a six month lease here as I was finishing up school, and we both truly wish that we had moved there earlier! Management was fantastic, from the start of the application process through the completion of our move-out. They have high standards for residents and themselves. This can lead to minor inconveniences, like putting pets away for monthly pest control, but this proactive style keeps the place running smoothly. We had consistently great experiences with Supriya and all of the staff, and highly recommended this complex to all of our friends in Dallas! Great location too - walking distance from really neat places on Cedar Springs.
The Brix is a great place to live. I moved here from another city, and The Brix impressed me from the first meeting and tour of the property. The staff are truly warm and gracious at every turn. My experience living here has been stellar. The staff care about each tenant, which is evident by how hard they work for us. This is a safe and inclusive community. I have never experienced such excellent service from the management and maintenance than I do at The Brix! I feel extremely fortunate to have found this apartment complex. My studio is newly renovated and came with almost no issues. The price is extremely competitive for the area and a perfect distance from downtown and my office. Any maintenance issues I found were quickly addressed. The maintenance team is quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and extremely friendly and accommodating. I recommend The Brix to anyone and everyone!
I have lived here for about 6 months. In my time here, management has changed multiple times. The apartments are not secure, people walking in and out, no security, I have been harassed by drug addicts who walked in from the alley. Cars have been broken into, no parking for guests because the streets are filled with cars. Was told furniture and pet clean up stations for common areas were going to be installed by September when I moved in. It is December, they put a bench in the courtyard, no pet stations. The girl across from me moved out because she claimed to have bed bugs.Management sent us emails denying it, but the girl said she had a pest company inspect that found bed bugs. At one point management was sending so many emails about inspections and such that it was borderline harassment. People don't clean up after their pets, feral cats pee in the gravel they landscape with in front of my apartment so it constantly smells of cat pee. During renovation they used chemicals to redo a bathtub in the apartment next to mine using toxic chemicals, they didn't ventilate and I came home to a sick dog and had to leave for 2 days until the fumes cleared out, they just apologized. I currently received a $150 lease violation because I watched my friends 10 lb dog in my apt when I requested it be removed and reminded them that they almost killed my dog, they still wouldn't remove it. Don't move in here.

Our goal is to provide our residents with the best possible customer service. Our apartments scored 100% in the city inspection in August 2017 and the inspector was wowed with the perfect condition of the inside and outside of the apartments. Below is a response to some of your concerns: Pet Stations and Outdoor Furniture- We do have a pet station on your side of the community for residents’ convenience. We also have a stainless steel BBQ grill, picnic tables under the pergola and outdoor benches in our community. These were implemented as planned/advertised. Access/Security Gates- Neither has our community ever advertised nor offered access gates. Neighborhood Issues – Actions of persons in the neighborhood are beyond our control. Unfortunately, if other communities or private homes choose not to comply with the City Ordinances, those issues should be taken to the City of Dallas Code Compliance. The feral cats have been reported to animal control and we encourage you to do the same if you are experiencing issues. Car Break-Ins- It was brought to our attention that someone was rummaging through an unlocked car. An unlocked vehicle is an open invitation to mischief, no matter what neighborhood you live in. Bed bugs- There was no evidence of a bed bug infestation either while the other resident was living in the apartment or after they moved out. We have inspection reports from professional pest control companies. Notification was sent to all residents to keep you informed.
