Oak Park is a village directly adjacent to the West Side of Chicago, about 16 minutes from downtown, and exhibits the perfect balance of urban and suburban landscapes. Families enjoy access to great schools while renters from all walks of life enjoy affordable to upscale housing options. Despite being only 4.5 square miles, Oak Park is one of the Windy City’s most diverse suburbs with more than 20 languages spoken. Oak Park is best known as the former home of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and contains the world’s largest collection of his designs. Along with historic homes, the village is packed with museums including the Ernest Hemingway Birthplace Museum. Along with a plethora of historical sites, this impressive village has a dynamic downtown district and an active arts scene.
Downtown Oak Park could rival a small city’s downtown district.

Property Ratings at The Bryant at Oak Park
Very fast response, very polite and answered a bunch of my questions!
Gas Leak Fixed I have an old stove/oven and I began smelling gas when the oven was preheating . I submitted a maintenance request and someone came the next day, ordered a new gas line and shut my oven down until the next morning when the part came in and it was repaired.
Faucet Replaced The work was done in a timely manner and Steven was very professional.
We lived at this property for a year and enjoyed every single day of it. The manager was very caring, and the maintenance staff was always willing to help us out when needed. The property boasts beautiful vistas and is hushed, making it a perfect place to relax. Unfortunately, we had to move out due to a change in my job location. I highly recommend living here.

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your time here! It's wonderful that our staff and tranquil environment could make your stay a memorable one. We're sorry to see you go, but wish you all the best in your new location. Thank you for the recommendation!
I've lived in this building for 2 years. The unit is clean and bright with hardwood floors, crown molding and other charming vintage touches. It overlooks the courtyard, which is green and lush in the spring and summer (it's even pretty in the winter after a big snowfall). Neighbors either keep to themselves or say "hi," and everyone is pretty considerate about bringing packages into the vestibule if they happen to see them outside the front door. Mills Park and the Pleasant Home are right next door, and we're only steps away from Marion Street and all of its boutique shops and restaurants. The property is conscientiously maintained, and the maintenance person is consistently responsive and helpful. Rents are reasonable and come without all of the extra pet rent, pet deposits, and other a la carte fees you'll find at newer developments around here. There is no parking lot, however, we are in the Y2 permit zone for street parking, and there are parking lots and garages nearby. I've never had an issue with parking. You do have to go to the village hall for your first permit -- be sure to do your homework at their website -- but after that you can renew online every quarter. (Plus, the Green Line and Metra are only a couple of blocks away.) I highly recommend this place as an alternative to all the obscenely overpriced developments springing up around here.
I've lived in this building for a few years now. It is in a great area with a park, restaurants, and shops all within a few blocks. Many of Oak Park's festivals and events happen in this same area. The train - both CTA (green line) and Metra - are a block away. Building has studios and one bedrooms. Many apartments have either a courtyard view, or park view. The handyman is responsive and helpful if I have any issues. The building does not have central air, but window units are permitted. It has radiator heat. The building has some character and age, but with that comes quirks. It can be a bit drafty in the winter, the floors can creak, the bathrooms and kitchens are acceptable, but could use an update. The intercom/buzzer system could use an update. For me though, the quirks are out-weighed by the character the courtyard has attractive landscaping and I enjoy walking into the courtyard each day. The apartment has beautiful french doors, hardwood floors, and crown molding. The building is usually fairly quiet. Neighbors are polite. And I really really enjoy where I'm situated in Oak Park. I can walk to so much, such easy access to the train, and green space.
