The Canyon

The community is great and the amenities, especially the gym, is great for me. I enjoy the clean environment as well. I don’t have any complaints, other than it’s far from my classes.

Recently had a broken faucet in the kitchen and Ash came to help fix it! Super thankful that he could help! My roommate and I love it here!

Very clean and nice facilities and friendly staff, I’ve enjoyed my time living at the canyon so far and I don’t see that changing as the year goes on.

Whole place was horrible before we even got there. Only good thing about living there was maintenance man Ken.

Really great location and area, in proximity to everything downtown and very close to campus. I like the bedroom and living room setup. Only negative is the very limited kitchen storage space.

A very nice complex. Staff and maintenance are very friendly and helpful. There is quite a bit of noise as it is down town, but the trash trucks also come early and are very loud depending on where your unit is.

Move in was so smooth and better than expected! I love my apartment so far! Everything is renovated and the apartment was left in a fairly clean condition.

It was an easy move. Ivory was such a sweetheart, and then Shanon made the process easy and understandable. I like the apartment. I hope the maintenance makes an appointment with us when they come for maintenance.

Super nice. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful overall great vibe and loved moving in since it was so easy. There was minimal stress since everything was so easy and at hand

I just moved in here at Alexander court and so far the experience has been great. They supplied food on the first day which was very nice, and moving in wasn’t too bad.

Very welcoming environment, great staff and clean rooms. Having some trouble with the room keys because the app is slow. Other then that, everything worked out well.

These apartments give residents quick access to everything on campus. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and ready to answer any questions you may have.

Very good - everything was extremely easy and quick to learn. It fostered a sense of complete excitement to living in the Canyon this year - very helpful!

Some confusion on initial move in but front desk was friendly and helpful. A few repairs needed already but overall apartment was clean and in good shape.

Great apartment and great memories. The temperature control was a little wonky but everything else was clean and furnished well. Loved the balcony

The canyons provide a renovated experience to college students at the Penn State campus. Providing a range of amenities and accommodations for living’s arrangements.

My time in Beaver Hill has been good. The apartment are livable and a great location to the business building (as a finance major). The events and amenities are also nice such as laundry on every floor with a trash shoot, gym, and numerous study halls. The one thing I wish would get changed is the parking. So tight spots and not even sized spots which make some of the spots near impossible to park in without getting side swiped by a clueless tenant who slams their door into your car. All in all, I have and will recommend this apartment to future tenants.

Overall a nice apartment however for the price they cut corners on a lot of things. The floors had paint splattered on them and the cabinets were poorly put together. The most frustrating thing is they turn off the air conditioning as soon as it drops below 80. Overall a nice place with very fast internet however I believe there are better options.

Overall, it was nice place to live. However, the parties made the environment a little loud for studying and sleeping. The location was very nice for being able to go back and forth from campus.

The Canyon is a really nice place to stay. The administration is very responsive and Shannon is extremely nice. Shannon especially was always wanting the best experience for her residents and considering our feedback.

Great apartment, service, and location! So glad I chose to live at the Canyon for my years at Penn State. Good price and especially considering the location, five stars!

I haven’t moved in yet, but The Canyon has made everything super easy to navigate! I especially like the resident portal. Makes paying rent and other things super easy

I haven’t moved in yet but when I visited I loved it, so I’m ready to live in a great apartment that’s in a great area. Everything has been smooth so far.

It was made very easy for a old resident to transfer their lease to me, and all of the move in check list information was easy to understand and sign as a college student.

Amazing!! The residents are super friendly and not super loud. The location is prime for downtown, as well as classes. The gym is super clean and not super crowded. The workers are always super helpful and kind.

So far, renting at the Canyon has been super welcoming and exciting! Although I have not moved in yet, my roommates and I have been presented with tons of information regarding our move-in process, building policies, room information, and more.

The staff is very accommodating and the events are fun. The maintenance is great and always very quick to respond. I love the location and amenities.

Apartment was nice to live in with a lively and friendly community. Maintenance was super respectful and helpful as well as being friendly. Overall enjoyed my experience living in Cedarbrook.

The location is amazing and it's very affordable. There are just some issues that make it extremely annoying to live here. The main living area of our apartment is on the same circuit as the kitchen if we have more than 1 device running at a time the arc circuit trips causing a power outage until cycled. There is no ethernet and the wifi is awful and goes down multiple times a week and the support team is business hours only. The staff at canyon is friendly and always ready to help but even their renovated buildings feel antiquated.
