Property Ratings at The Cape
I have three large complaints, which have ultimately completely soured my experience here, despite truly wanting to love it. 1. Trash is a major issue. - My building is in the back of the lot, near a large trash compactor, if usually fills up in a few days, and people begin to just throw trash next to it, which sits in the sun and rota throughout the summer. From my balcony I am hit with the smell of rot, when I get in my car, I am hit with the smell of rot, the second I step outside for anything, I am hit with the smell of rot. It sucks, depending on your building it will or won't be an issue. The other dumpsters always are filled to the brim as well, I'm sure it's not just me. 2. Parking is a major issue. - If you're getting back anytime past 8:00 P.M. you're screwed. I've had to park on the complete opposite side of the lot, and one night I toured the apartment twice and there wasn't a single spot open. I had to park outside of the complex near the gas station up front (at 1:00 A.M. mind you) and walk all the way to the gate in the back to let myself in. This has been a constant issue, regardless of day of the week, work night/weekend etc. 3. Towing I have two cars, both are registered with the apartment complex, and the towing company. I have screenshots, documents, copies of everything (screenshot attached too) and yet while out of town for the weekend, my second vehicle was towed. No notification was given, I had to call the police to track it down. They send out emails just about every week with the towing company, their information, where to file, etc. and I have followed it all. It was parked in the correct spot, where I normally leave it, but now I have several hundred dollars to pay because the tow truck driver decided it was his to take. These are the cheapest apartments in this area, the experience since new management has taken over a few months ago has just deteriorated further and further. I have no interest in renewing, and strongly encourage you look elsewhere if you want a pleasant, hassle free living experience.
I love the Cape Apartments!! The staff is absolutely wonderful!! They are very friendly and knowledgably about the area where the apartments are located. Property is very clean and quiet!! I love the yard that I have and feel very safe!! THANK YOU Cape Apartments Staff for everything, I couldn't have asked for a better leasing experience!!
This place was ok when I moved in about a year ago but seems to just be getting worse, getting emails about lock and hide belongings in your car is not out of the norm, common sense but they seem to have a problem with car break-ins even though this a gated community. Parking is not that great and as large as the spots are which is good people will still park bad close to your car and not nowhere near inside lines, they don’t have guest parking so sometimes there’s no parking. Roaches are common in the hallway, had a neighbor talk about how he couldn’t get rid of the roaches in his new apartment he moved into across the hall. The last issue with the complex is that the apartments don’t have individual water heaters, it’s run off a boiler system so about once a month or two if we’re lucky the boiler is down for maintenance or repair and there’s no hot water. Personally I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family
We loved living at The CAPE! Elena, Chris, Sara, and the rest of the staff/workers were amazing, and treated us like family! They were awesome in keeping the complex well kept, up to date, and following through on requests (most of the time, within the hour!!) It is a great location, and my 80 year old mother felt very safe there, which meant a lot to me. We had to relocate due to my career, but The CAPE, will always hold a special place in our hearts! Leaving was hard to do with such great people, taking such great care of us!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a positive review of The Cape!
The entire facility has been modernized and everyone in staff are really friendly. I really enjoy the interior design and the fact that they have a sand volleyball court is a major plus! If you should venture into the office you'll find a couple of beauties that are always happy to help as well as knowledgeable and professional. I've lived here along with my girlfriend since March and we're both very happy to be able to call The Cape our new home.

Thank you so much for your positive review! We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying your stay here at The Cape.
Is a place that is constantly improving , no matter how hectic the traffic around can be the apartment complex is always peaceful and quiet, great staff, always helpful , first quality service always willing to help .Could not ask for someplace better for me or my family.
I have lived at the Stoneleigh Cypress Pointe apts for 6 years and it is a safe community which I appreciate, there is an officer that lives on the property, walking around the buildings feels safe, I like living here but the water, gas, trash, and valet trash is very expensive if you are only two people you will pay about $ 100 more for this services be aware of that, is a convenient location, but I can sometimes ear the freeway, if you live close to the back side of the property on building 6 you will ear every Saturday night music very loud, there is some type of party hall to the back of the property, the new manager is very good, but they change managment every year or so, the maintenance guys are wonderful, but for the office to let them do a repair takes a lot of effort meaning that you have to call several times and tell them what you need, also if you live on a 2nd or first floor you might hear your neighbors walking, that can be very unpleasant specially at night, overall it's OK but not the best, I hope that this is helpful to you and many others. Thank you
I am fond of the management. Luisa, the apartment assistant manager, is quick to respond and extremely helpful. As a single mother, i am skeptical when it comes to apartments considering in my past i have been charged fees that could not be explained and my rate would constantly fluctuate. At Stoneleigh Cypress Pointe, i have not had a single unexplained fee and when i question the rate regarding sewage or water, i was given help and an answer almost immediately. When i first moved to the community, they were using Broadstar as their cable provider. About a month after i began using Broadstar, i had technical issues and it took me almost another month just to communicate with them. Apparently i was not the only one that had complained about the cable service, because within a week of my initial complaint to the complex regarding Broadstar, a letter was sent out to every tenant notifying them that we would be switching companies. The fact they were quick to act on an issue that is important to tenants, proved i was where i need to be. Great job, Stoneleigh. Keep up the excellent work!
This apartment was great it was clean and all the management was very friendly and helpful. They had great amenities and they always answered my calls. The location was a little busy but nothing was a far drive. if was very safe and cozy and the neighbors were very nice. No bug problems or noise.
