Property Ratings at The Carlson Apartments
Do not move here. The complex has less parking spaces then units without assigned parking. Instead of fixing the issue, the complex tows your vehicle. All individuals of the leasing office and the management company of this apartment complex has caused me emotional and financial distress. Update: It’s been a couple of weeks and nothing has changed. This property does not care about you or your belongings. It’s apparent that they will continue to tow vehicles and will never fix the parking issue that was created by this rental company.
This complex does not care about its residents plane and simple. They do not care to fix the crazy amount of issues they have. Be prepared to have your car towed and for the management company to not care. They don’t have enough parking for the complex and will tow your whole care for $430 because they don’t have assigned parking since they don’t care to have enough spaces.
where to even start. The property has had 5 different managers in a year. The people that work in the office and at Griffiths Blessings are nice and probably have good intentions but are horrible at their jobs. There are so many things that they will spin to be nice perks and end up having lots of fine print/ they don't tell you the whole story and it ends up terrible. The people that run the complex don't do their jobs, many of the people that live there were inconsiderate, and so many things were done cheaply and poorly and broke or fell apart. Don't live here its absolutely miserable and will give you a headache on multiple levels

Newly remodeled, but they're still in the process of construction. I love that I'm a 20 minute bike ride from most of the Springs.
Insides are pretty good because they have just remodeled it, view is decent if you are in certain buildings. Pretty central to get to a bunch of places within 10-15mins. HOWEVER, beware that its not as good as it seems. Property manager is unprofessional, at times rude, and gives false info. Can be very loud at times as tenant kids run around yelling late at night, fire station is near by, cars zooming by extremely loud at 2am, and sketchy car business next door BLASTS music at weird hours. Still no AC after being told it was going to be installed 2 months ago (and its fing hot). Gates don't work. No recycling. Trash everywhere because of the wind and it doesn't get picked up. Only one working laundry room which is grimy (tenants don't keep very clean), floor is always a pond of water, and the fire dept aleady got called. Also $4 per load. Around the property things are clearly unfinished- loose wiring, pipes, and other things exposed and unfinished with no sense of urgency or deadline to clean and finish.
