Great housing with fair price. There are events now and then where you can get some delicacies, and the staff here are nice. Would be better if the garbage disposal was more frequent.

The experience till now at Carlyle have been great , i am loving the calmness this neighbourhood have . All of the amenities are also great here so far.

Overall, we've had a great experience living here for 3 years. Amenities are nice and well kept, although sometimes things go missing like ping pong balls. Maintenance is quick to respond and does a good job resolving our issues.

All neighborhood is good and kind to us. And here is so calm and no noisy to study and good internet. Amenites is well prepared so is convenient to all person

I recently moved into a studio apartment at Carlyle Apartments and have had a mixed experience so far. On the positive side, the maintenance team is very responsive and efficient. Whenever I've had an issue, they’ve addressed it quickly, which is a huge relief. The price is also quite fair for the location and amenities offered. However, there has been a recurring pest problem that has been a bit frustrating. While management is aware and is trying to handle it, it's something that needs to be improved for a more comfortable living experience. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable studio in a convenient location with a fast-acting maintenance team, Carlyle Apartments is a decent option, but be prepared to deal with some pest issues.

Great location and excellent pricing per square foot. Maintenance is always on the job. Management couldn’t be better. Really nice amenities.

Amazing experience. The overall building is really good with lots of facilities. It is also nearby to our campus at Johns hopkins. The staff at reception are really kind and helpful.

I have been in the aparmtent about 10 days and I can say that everything is going well. When I have a problem, the office helps me and solves the problem. However, I think the apartment is overpriced.

Generally, the room is spacious and fantastic, with high-end electric facilities and bath. The community lounge and the pool are also highlights. However, there are still minor issues like dust in ventilation system, the water-consuming toilet and lack of lights in the room. After these are fixed, the apartment will be perfect.

Maintenance is professional and responsive. Mr Tommy is my fav of all time.Mr. Justino the porter is the sweetest kindest soul. Definitely miss Kayla and Esha but Melissa is a sweetheart and awesome to talk to. The apartments themselves could use some updating and like old buildings things could be better. But overall a good bldg and area. Theyve increased the amenities over the past year.

Management is very helpful and accommodating towards residents needs. They are friendly and very kind. Love that it is a pet friendly environment

Carlyle is a really nice place to live! It's spacious, quiet, and clean with amazing views. It's near the rotunda and campus. The amenities are old and I sometimes have problems with them, but maintenance is pretty good with addressing any issues.

My experiences as a resident have been very wonderful with the carlyle apartments. I am loving all of the amenities and the collaborative community.

The Carlyle leasing staff helped us picking the right unit for us. They have an array of units that can satisfy people's needs and budgets. Upon arrival, they make you file a "move in checklist" to make sure your apartment is in perfect condition and, if something is wrong, they will fix it in no-time. The maintenance staff is kind and efficient and, as it is true for the leasing staff, they are always down for a chat and a few laughs. I am glad I have the opportunity of living in such a welcoming community. As an international student it is particularly hard to find a place to live in the United States, at the Carlyle this reality is not true and you will feel welcomed no matter where you come from. I will never praise this enough. Moving to the building, my apartment has the cutest view ever, looking over some trees and a lovely wooden bridge. You also get access to many features like a pool table, a gym, many rooms to study, and, undoubtedly my favorite, a rooftop pool. I am looking forward to explore more of the Carlyle community, I am very glad of having a place to call home also in Baltimore.

Everything is good, at the beginning, and I have something wrong with my insurance, and the management told me how to fix my problem, at last everything is OK

The staff is lovely and willing to work with you. The maintenance team is nice and works very quickly. The only downside is that the building is old and when neighbors smoke in their apartment the smell of cigarettes goes into other apartments.

I've had a good experience with The Carlyle at the beginning when I first moved in, until the past year. Too many accidents happening and non compliant residents. Emails that keep getting sent out about trash, which residents are constantly ignoring and unknown fires in the building.

When a pipe burst in one of the apartments on my line, we realized the lack of empathy the management has towards the residents. They did not even communicate to the other residents of the building about this major event which affected more than 10 apartments, making some of them unliveable. The most affected residents, some of whom were in knee deep water on the day of the pipe burst, were not given a temporary place to stay in.

Great location, wonderful management and maintenance. Pricing per square foot is reasonable. Within walking distance of stores. Highly recommend.

Our place is pretty nice, although we hoped for a refurbished unit. There were minor problems when we first moved into the apartment. Our biggest issue is smoking, which we already complained about to management numerous times. Discovered a leak coming from under the sink. Raising the rent means we will be finding a new place to live.

I have been part of this great community for a year now, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay around Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus. The people are extraordinary and go beyond to give an excellent service. Great sense of belonging to the Carlyle community !

Great location with bad amenities. The elevator is always broken. I enjoy the big space in the apartment but the building is too old without proper fixing.

Management is very thoughtful and considerate towards their residents as well as understanding . Willing to work with you and make your living as comfortable as they can

Thw staff is wonderful and timely in their responses. Maintenance is amazing as they usually are able to handle maintnance requests within a couple of days.

I especially recommend this community, because of the great people who work at the leasing office and go above and beyond to make us feel home and give the community a beautiful spirit, organizing regular events and getting to know the residents. Tedsa was fabulous and eased all the moving process with her kindness and professionalism, she is always available for any concern and always has a kind attention for everyone, thank her so much. It really ads up greatly to the safe environment, particularly for female residents, and the community is also very family friendly ! Living at the Carlyle is a great experience !

It’s comfortable and convenience to stay in the apartment. Some of my friends live in the same apartment. I’m glad that I found a right place to stay.

Great apartment, great location, and all amenities. The community is ideal for students or faculty and right nearby campus. The moving in process was made easy by the great staff members and maintenance is always fast with professional and kind people.

Good building location, nice staff. The building is a little bit old but the maintenance is nice and quick. The elevator is the worst part of the building which is broken all the time.

A good place to be. Very clean, nice amenities, and the apartments are spacious and well looked-after with a great location and plenty of natural light. My experience with repair/maintenance calls has been that they are answered swiftly and well. My only criticism would be how often the elevators break down or are out of order, which can be a very real annoyance, but my time here has generally been very positive otherwise.

I have lived here for 3 years, the nearby environment is relatively safe, the management is average, house maintenance service is quite prompt, but the rent is a bit high and the elevator often breaks down. I hope the apartment can properly address these issues.

the thing I love most in carlyle is the heat in winter! so warm and cozy. love to watch it snowing outside from a comfortable living room. this must be one of the best part.

The apartments are spacious and a reasonable price. There have been some problems with pests, but exterminators are regularly sent to address this.

Great friendly responsive management staff , **great great location , nice window views of evergreen trees, large master bedroom, and very large kitchen for apartments ,, friendly neighbors, we can go away knowing all maintenance indoor and outdoor will be taken care of with good men and those we can trust..... lovely club house , pool and gym all in great shape

There are too many cockroaches I cannot bear it, also, The furnitures are too old, the space of the kitchen is small and the space for the living room is super large, which is not proper

The apartment is a bit old and isn't well lit all around but it has great amenities, and management is always extremely helpful and friendly. I've only had some issues with plumbing while living here but those were quickly fixed by the maintenance team. However, on several occasions it seems the apartment does hire workers/contractors that will attempt to open your door or even try to enter your unit when the door is unlocked, which makes me concerned about the safety here.

I'm a fairly new resident and so far, I've been really loving it! The staff are helpful and the maintenance crew are all very sweet, and the building facilities are always clean.

Great service. When we first moved in the apartment was not clean from the last tenants. When we let the manager know, they were quick to respond and everything was resolved smoothly.

Good location, fun amenities, good community. Spacious and walls are thick. However, the complex has a mice and roaches problem due to the trash shoot being nearby. The appliances are old and a bit wonky.

I lived there for two years. This apartment actually belongs to the rats. The rats are living in the chute, in your closet....They will hang out at night to taste whatever you have. The maintenance will never really send a guy to eliminate those rats. My friend lives in another room. She will knock on the closet door every time before she opens it. This apartment is definitely not worth the price.
