Property Ratings at The Carson
My daughter was supposed to move in to The Carson yesterday & when we got there with a full U-Haul from out of town, we were told the apartment was NOT ready! She was told the night before (10:30 pm) that she could move in after 3 pm. All we heard were excuse after excuse & then they showed us another unit that was available. It was nasty & full of mold in the bathroom that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy! While we were there, a resident came in complaining about her hot water heater & she was given a lot of excuses as well! All this could've been avoided with a simple phone call or communication that it wasn't ready!!!! We're very disappointed in the way this whole situation was handled & need others to see how bad it is as well!

When I toured the property, I was shown a nice remodeled unit and was told that all units were similarly updated. NOT SO! My unit had old appliances, multiple holes in the walls and was very dirty. There were also several things that did not work including the plumbing. These things were fixed after about two weeks. The property is now so run down, it looks like a slum and I don't feel safe here. I can't wait to move out! Rent has gone up tremendously for my renewal. Management staff is NEVER on site and does not respond to weeks of inquiries. Avoid this place! It is expensive and run down. You will regret moving here!

This Apartment complex is one of the best kept secrets in Longview. Definitely the best deals on a one bedroom apartment. Quiet, safe, and super clean grounds. The staff are friendly and handle all problems in a professional and timely manor. Would highly recommend this apartment complex.

This apartment complex would have been behind the times in the late 1990's. Today, it begs foreclosure. The air-conditioning units are from the last millenia and break down every summer, the water heaters are shared, and thus unreliable, the weather stripping stops only the largest of water bugs (enjoy waking up and saying hello to your new friends climbing on your ceiling in the middle of the night). The staff are friendly.

Thank you for expressing your concerns. Our property was built in the 80's along with the majority of properties in this area however we do feel our exterior and amenities are well maintained. We evaluate the property on a yearly basis and make improvements where needed. Also our maintenance staff works diligently to keep the property clean and maintains a quick response time for all work order request. Lastly, if you feel the weather stripping in your apartment needs to be replace please contact the office and I will enter the work order for you. This apartment complex provides a comfortable, homey feel the moment you walk in the door. It provides several great amenities including a pool, tennis court and dog park, and the staff are friendly and excellent at what they do. For its rates, it is a very nice place. To my knowledge, it is one of the safest apartment complexes in the area. I would highly recommend Princeton club apartments.
