Having lived at The Casco for six months, I can confidently say it’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a lifestyle. The location is unbeatable, situated in the heart of the city, with everything I needed just steps away. The facilities are outstanding: the gym is state of the art, and the lounges are exceptional—one on the 2nd floor designed for focused work, and another on the 18th floor offering the best view of the old harbor. What really stands out, however, is the staff—they’re exceptional, treating me like family from day one and always going above and beyond. You really can't beat the Casco for the view or location - a great spot to explore everything Portland has to offer. I've also been very impressed with the leasing office, management, and maintenance. Through the application, move-in process, and since moving in they have been very responsive, helpful, and kind. Colby, Liam, and Jonathan all took the time to show me as many apartments as I wanted to see to find the right fit, trouble shoot concerns about parking and the moving process, and answer a million tiny questions. Maintenance has also been immediately responsive. Amenities - The Casco has great work from home spaces for those of us moving to Maine to work remotely. The 18th floor lounge is beautiful with unbeatable views, and the gym is great. Note that parking is in offsite garages, with multiple options within a few blocks of the building (including one directly across the street). Highly recommend!

The leasing agents are wonderful, I love my apartment, and the view is unreal. I'm on the 11th floor and I can see the city, the bay, the ocean beyond, and the islands. And it's in Old Port on the very walkable peninsula. People travel all over the world to vacation here.

My partner and I are longtime Portland residents who have been looking for a new rental. We've previously only rented from small private landlords, so we were a bit nervous about moving forward with a management company. I'm so glad we did, though! Redfern has been friendly, communicative, and so very helpful. Colby M. has been especially wonderful. She gave us a comprehensive tour of the building and walked us through every step of the application process. We were also amazed at the cost-to-benefit ratio for The Casco. Other apartment buildings we viewed in similar price ranges did not offer anywhere near the cleanliness of The Casco, nor the amenities. We can't wait to use the SkyLounge and gym! We'll be moving into the building in the coming months and are so very excited. Being the tallest structure in Portland, we find ourselves pointing to it from all over the city saying, "Hey! As someone who enjoys apartment living and the “vibe” of being in a city, I’m often left lamenting the lack of options. Portland is a place I’m proud to call home, but for many years there hasn’t been a lot of choice when it comes to housing. Too far from amenities. Bad neighborhood. Desperately in need of repairs/updates. Overpriced with no real value for the tenant. Today I toured Aucocisco. Colby was AMAZING. She really took the time to answer our questions and listen to our feedback. She showed us the building with a genuine (and well deserved) excitement. Knowledgeable, warm and so pleasant, it made the viewing a real joy. And what a viewing: sweeping, spectacular views. Spacious, well designed floor plans. Incredible location. Warm and inviting units. A place you WANT to call home. Who wouldn’t want to live in a contemporary, urban, cosmopolitan building with arguably the best views in downtown Portland? If you are looking for something truly special, I’d check out Aucocisco. I for one can’t wait to move in!
