Property Ratings at The Case Building
Whatever you do don’t move here! I lived here for two years, and I should’ve left years ago. The staff is rude and unhelpful. Also I had roaches, and I’m a very clean person. They also tow your car even when it’s “properly registered.” It’s in a very unsafe area and they have little to no security. I’ve heard that multiple cars were broken into again and again. The walls are super thin so it makes it hard to even work from home. Heed my warning and don’t move here! There are much better and more affordable places in Dallas.
I was a resident for 15 months and was never informed my car was not in the second portal not even at the time of my lease renewal resulting my car being towed and the management was incredibly rude.
Building is in deep ellum and is therefore extremely loud. Tons of people outside the building. Loud sirens and helicopter from the hospital nearby. Random folks using the guest parking garage and back lot behind the building (drinking and partying in their cars). At least one elevator or garage gate is out of service at all times. Random cars parked in handicap and charging stations as well. Building management seems more occupied with signing than keeping residents happy. Maintenance guys are nice and responsive, though. Fairly clean except for occasion trash or dog poo in the hallway due to high traffic. Overall okay but be aware of what area you are moving to.

Coming from the pickiest tenants ever... this place is phenomenal. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to help with everything. The construction of this building is QUALITY... they aren't cutting corners with this place. The design was so well thought out and the finished product is gorgeous. The amenities are awesome... love the pool, gym and co-working areas. Location is fantastic... close enough to walk to everything, but not so close you are dealing with the noise and traffic. Can't recommend this place enough!

Recently moved into this building after living at the Farmer's Market and I am excited about my decision to relocate. Although the building is on the east end of Deep Ellum, it's right across from my office building which makes the commute non-existent. The building itself is brand new and I really appreciate the design elements. They used higher-end appliances and finishes which is a plus. Management and the workers couldn't be nicer. Everyone at the Case building has been extremely helpful during my move-in process. The gym, pool, and amenities provided are also great. -James Hunt

Terrible experience. Management was not willing to accommodate, whatsoever. Because we got such a bad feeling about this place during the application process, and their "Welcome Home Letter" stated our deposit would be refunded, we decided to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to very sub-par business practices at Westdale Management, they decided it was their right to withhold our deposit, anyway. Despite creating confusion with potential renters, they clung to our deposit and handled the process with the utmost lack of professionalism. Case Building seems fairly nice at first glance, but there is a very obvious reason this community continues to struggle to find tenants to the point of offering free drinks just for a tour. I would steer VERY clear of this place. If that isn't enough to deter you from coming here, look at the crime rate of this area. I REALLY wanted to like this place at first. We were so excited to check it out, but the experience was so disappointing and such a letdown. As far as the building itself, some nice features, but shared walls with built-in speakers mean there will be noise issues, this is straight from the mouth of the Case leasing agent who showed us around.
