Minor, also known as Squire Park, is home to Seattle University, which sits along the western border. Only about one mile directly east of Downtown Seattle, this popular neighborhood is nestled between Seattle's International and Central Districts. Named for Seattle Mayor T.T. Minor who founded the Seattle Railway, this neighborhood has a rich history.
Like most downtown neighborhoods, Minor is densely populated, but there are several small parks, plenty of trees, wide sidewalks, and historic architecture that make Minor one of Seattle's most dynamic and attractive communities. This is a friendly community that provides a variety of housing, from charming bungalows to large apartment buildings. In addition to the university, Minor is home to the Swedish Medical Center's Cherry Hill campus.
Apartments in Minor place you close to downtown, Seattle University, and the medical center.

Property Ratings at The Central
I love living at The Central. So close to Capitol Hill but also removed enough to be a quieter and slower pace. The apartment has great amenities with parking and storage you can rent. The management team is amazing, communicative, and friendly. The maintenance staff is so helpful and responsive. I love living here and highly recommend to anyone looking for a well-maintained building in a great location.

Hello, we are very happy we could provide you with a positive experience! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
We love living at The Central Apartments. The apartments have a premium feel with luxury vinyl flooring (wood plank appearance) atop solid concrete floors, stainless steel appliances, and quartz counters. There's even a nice community/party room and two rooftop decks! The front office staff, management, and maintenance teams are excellent. They respond quickly and efficiently with a smile for any needs at move-in or needs that arise with maintenance. We like the location, which is walkable to all that Capitol Hill has to offer, and situated at the heart of the Central District's amenities. In or near the building are a post office, coffee shops, and restaurants/bars. There's a PCC market and All The Best Pet Care across the street. Easy to get to downtown by walking or taking one of the bus lines that run down Union or 23rd Ave.

Hello! Thank you so much for your thoughtful review of The Central and our staff. We think our team is amazing and so glad to hear that you agree! Have a great day. Mario Manriquez Regional Manager
Love the area and location BUTTT.. Thrive takes advantage of people upon moveout, we were lucky enough to find a home and closed with 2 months still left on the lease. We were forced to pay 2 months worth of rent ON TOP OF PRO RATED RENT FOR HALF A MONTH. We tried to talk to management regarding the fees and they were more interested in citing the contract than helping people. We were residents for almost 4 years and were treated like complete garbage upon moveout. I would be warry of living here if you plan to own a home or be prepared to pay $5,000 to move out. STAY AWAY
The Central was an easy choice for me. Between the management and the apartments as well as everything else it is exactly what I was looking for with places to eat near by and public transit across the road. When I walk in the lobby after work I am greeted by name, welcoming me home.

We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us! We hope to see you very soon :)!
Thank you to the Central apartment for such a great living experience. I really enjoy the atmosphere and location of the central apartment. Everything I need is within walking distance and there is a great public transportation system in the neighborhood. The staff here at the Central are amazing they have always went above and beyond if I needed anything. Kevin is great a great maintenance man. He fixes what needs to be done very quick and is very informative. He also is good about being respectful of your home and belongings when he does come by to fix stuff. Justin And Aliesha work in The leasing office. I love having them in the building. They work very hard at what they do, but are always so welcoming and caring about how your living experience is going along with being very kind, professional, and personable. The apartment festivities they plan are also very fun to attend. I love living here at the Central and I have been a resident for 8 months now and I look forward to staying even longer. If you want a great living experience I recommend staying at the Central! :)
