Property Ratings at The Chase Apartments
The apartment seemed OK at first... until summer came around. The AC is running 24/7 and my apartment is 82 degrees while its 95 outside. In the morning with the AC running all night I wake up to a 75 degree apartment. I've put in several service requests and maintenance is clueless and just say it's working as it should, to deal with it, and buy a fan. There's also trash everywhere, they only have one trash dumpster and it's on the complete other side of the complex in the corner. However they have recycle dumps everywhere, so guess where people throw their trash? In the recycle dumps... then the recycle trucks refuse to take them because there is obviously trash in them. So what does management do? They put a second recycle bin next to it and that fills up with trash too, it's been sitting there piling up for months. Can't wait to move out.
Stay the hell away from this place, it has become an absolute nightmare to live here. It used to be a nice peaceful community until RPM management came in and ruined the place. Say goodbye to ever getting any sleep since the neighbors want to play their music on full blast for hours on into the night. The bass from the music literally shakes the building, and no amount of earplugs or white noise cancels it out. Even after multiple complaints and calling the police, nothing ever gets done about the noise. I can never get a hold of the property manager. The office is always locked when I try to go talk to them (shocker) even during opening hours. Good luck calling them too, no one ever answers the phone, the voicemail is always full, or the call just straight up won’t go through. Trying to email the property manager is a pain as well since the manager is always changing and we never know who to contact anymore. Plus we keep getting double charged on rent and we keep having to pay an extra $200 over what was agreed on the lease. Has this issue been resolved? Not at all, since no one ever wants to respond to us. The hot water in our apartment runs this awful disgusting murky water. The maintenance guy came in, took a look, left, and never returned to fix the issue. Also, surprise, your water will randomly get turned off for days at a time with no notice, and if you want to try to call the emergency maintenance number you’ll get nothing. I’ve never had a worse living experience in any apartment complex I’ve been in. I wouldn’t touch this place with a 10 foot pole.
Property Manager at The Chase Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hi Elise. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you've experienced. Our team will be reaching out to you shortly to discuss any pending maintenance requests for your home, as well as the noise you're experiencing. We've spoken to your neighbors regarding their noise levels, and we will continue to monitor this situation.
Repairs are not a priority here. And the more severe the problem, the less likely they are to handle it. My unit has suffered MULTIPLE instances of water damage caused by poor maintenance and they basically will not repair anything until I move out. There are junk cars sitting in the lot. Trash everywhere, people with no regard for their neighbors. Don't get fooled when apartment searching. They only care when you sign your first lease.

I been a resident for over a year and got my Car towed because they said I was not registered and I was. I talked to the property management company and they was very rude and disrespectful. Ever since the Robinson Group took over it has been a mess and corporate office do not answer the phone. Definitely moving when my lease is up. Not to mention it is roaches everywhere in the apartment complex.
These apartments are horrible ever since the Robinson group took over. One they towed my car at the apartments where I paid rent even though I was registered to park. Second it is roaches all through the apartments and they have not done anything about it. Third the property management team is extremely rude and disrespectful I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live there.
We seem to have a new management team here who are incredibly responsive, attentive and simply, compassionate. I was unexpectedly quarantined on the East Coast for quite sometime and they were willing to check in on my unit for me and assure me that all was well. I even had a birthday card waiting on my door for me the day I got back. They are definitely putting a humanized touch into Multi Family Leasing. While I do plan to purchase my new home next year, I am happy I choose this place to live in the interim as a newbie to Dallas! #HappyResident
You really get what you pay for. Service and ammenities are spectacular. Location is key, and the added security is a good feeling for how close it is to everything. Audi is walking distance and great restaurants also very close.
The gates are always broken. I have almost been hit several times because people drive the wrong way through open gates instead of driving through the correct gate. There’s a major bug and mice problem here. It’s hit or miss if the gym is unlocked. I’ve had to turn off my package signatures and have them sent to the office because I’ve had a ton of packages stolen. Maintenance is really slow to get anything taken care of. All of my issues have been water related which have included being flooded from an upstairs neighbor in both my master bathroom as well as my balcony. You would think water would be considered an emergency. Wrong.
Upon move-in, the cleaning lady did nothing but obviously clean with water. The outlets, light plates, fixtures, and shower walls were covered with a yellowish-brown film. The apartment smelled like heavy smoke. Maintenance came and bombed it, they cleaned the vents etc. Nothing worked until I cleaned the walls with vinegar. I had an issue with the refrigerator not cooling so they found one outside and pieced it together. None of the shelves fit properly. Maintenance was trifling. My apartment was on the first floor next to the pool. My apartment became infested with mice(We removed at least 7 mice). This took months. Then I had a problem with large water bugs(roaches) getting in. I was finding droppings everywhere. I was so over it. After the mice and roaches I never used my patio thinking this is where it was coming from, but no. Pretty sure it was from a hole in the apartment somewhere. Still don’t know where it was because the pest guy would rather put down traps than find the point of entry. My issues may have been just from my apartment and it’s location, but beware. A nice upgraded apartment is all aesthetically pleasing, but not everything.
Went in today to inquire about an apartment. They wouldn't acknowledge my presence. The lady in the colorful shirt who sits in the office in front just stayed on her cell phone discussing personal issues. She walked by me several times. Looked at me and kept on passing by. There were two other women talking together which may or may not have been about work but neither one turned to me and said "I will be with you". For a fancy apartment complex, its dissapointing how I was treated. Maybe, its because I didn't drive my $50k truck in but I do make over 8 times their rent. They won't be getting any of it.
Poorly kept grounds. Poor management. Maintenance issues. Issues with trash service. Broken security gates. Noise from the freeway. Car break ins and theft in the neighborhood.
I moved from Austin to Dallas for work and 4343 was my first apartment and I loved it here. From the gated community, swimming pool, fitness center and everything in the surrounding area it seemed like home. The people were friendly except most people with bigger dogs did not pick up after their dogs. There are many pick up after your dog stations which was nice. The office ladies were nice but they seemed to have a new person each time I went in. My only dilemma with 4343 was the time it took me to get to work and that's why I had to move. I wish this place was closer to my job! But I would recommend this apartments. I'd check the out the apartment are nice and spacious and if anything needed fixing it was always done in a timely fashion in my opinion.
To be honest, I've disliked pretty much everything about this apartment complex. While the apartment looks fairly nice and clean, my roommate and I have had several issues, not only with the apartment itself, but also the other tenants and staff. When we first signed on the apartment, the told us we would have a fireplace; after 9 months, I still can't find it. The hot water heater is locked behind a closet door (for some genius reason), so when ours burst over the weekend, all we could do was throw down towels for about 6 hours until someone came after calling the maintenance number. We pay $17/mn for valet trash, and have had the trash guy empty a bag of trash on our doorstep, take a picture, and management sent us a letter about "policy violation". While a Dallas police officer lives in the complex, it's more nominal than substantial. Several teens (whom are known to the staff & management as troublemakers, having had police called before) keyed my car after I told them to not lay on it. They only have security cameras around the office building, and the staff was unwilling to do anything about it the incident. The other day, someone from staff/management entered our apartment without contacting us prior, which is a violation of the lease; when I heard someone unlock the door and enter the apartment, they shrieked when I greeted them and promptly exited. My roommate and I will be gladly leaving this apartment when our lease is up in a couple months to find better lodging. tl/dr Save the trouble and find somewhere better.
My husband and I found 4343 by accident while looking at the apartments across the street. It was everything we hoped to find in an apartment. The office staff was really friendly and helpful (this was our first apartment so we didn't always know exactly what we were doing). The landscaping is beautiful and maintenance requests are handled within a day or two. The rent is very reasonable for its location (quick access to both PGBT and DNT!!) and the floorplans are well laid-out. Not a single issues with our neighbors and the residents are all very friendly and welcoming. We have had such a great experience with this complex and we are definitely renewing our lease!!
Alex that works in the office is AMAZING!! Anything that I call for he helps me with right away. As well as the other 2 wonderful ladies who work there. They all are friendly and very helpful with everything.
