As America’s third largest city, Chicago fosters a unique persona with a wild, colorful history that’s earned it a string of nicknames: Second City, Chi-Town, and of course, the Windy City. Countless songs have been written about Chicago, a legendary musical group is named after it, and endless movies and television series are set in it. Chicago is one of the most ideal cities for renters with its blend of affordable and luxury apartments, waterfront views, and abundance of entertainment opportunities. There is something for everyone for every kind of budget in Chicago!
So what is it like living in Chicago? Well, first off the architecture is stunning, ranging from the John Hancock Tower to Tribune Tower and Willis Tower.

Property Ratings at The Chicagoan
Pool has been broken for 2 months and is still not fixed Management has not responded to tenant requests
They made the garage private. So your guest can no longer park in the attached garage. So if your family and friends want to come over and stay they have to park somewhere else. But they still let Gibson restaurant use the garage for valet. But paying residence cant have guest parking its a shame. Also they don’t let delivery people such as DoorDash drop off food at your door.
If you seek a prime location in the heart of the city of Chicago surrounded by museums, 5-star hotels, luxury brands, fine dining restaurants with a walking score of 100, and a walking distance to major supermarkets like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Jewel-Osco and Aldi, easy access to a garage or access to RED and Brown lines. Then “The Chicagoan” at 750 N Rush St is a good value compared to other competitors in River North. Adriana, the building manager, is super professional and gets things done quickly, and she is an excellent representative to Planned Property Management “PPM Apartments.” Engineers and maintenance staff are very skillful and always on time. They care for everything and keep everything in place daily, from the GYM to the Sundeck/Pool/Grill area. In addition, the Front Desk and Receiving/Mailing/Dry Clean staff are friendly and kind.
The apartment is nice and updated but it is small. You are paying for location. The walls are a bit thin in places. Planned Property Managements is the worst company I have ever worked with. It sometimes takes them a whole month to cash our rent checks. They are also very rude when you call inquiring if your check/payment has been received.
Hi everyone, my name is Craig. I have lived at the Chicagoan for over four years now. My wife is a shop-a-holic, so she only has to walk three blocks to Water Tower Place. I love to get my grocery shopping done at Whole Foods which is two blocks away. Ever since ppm took over management at my building, Mary and I have been pleased with their work ethic.
