About The Chimes Building
Perched on the corner of South Salina and West Onondaga Streets, the building stands 12-stories high with modest Art Deco features. It was once one of the most prominent office buildings in Syracuse. When renovations are complete, the newly renovated Chimes Building will boast as many as 150 upscale apartments, featuring a variety of layouts. Currently on floors 3-6 there are 1,2, & 3 Bedroom units available. The seventh floor is currently in the design stage, and will house large luxury apartments when complete, as well as a paved, secure parking area. A covered, secure bridge offers access to the parking garage located across the street adjacent to the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. The new Centro Bus station terminal, located directly across the street, provides convenient access to public transportation. Please note: application fee waived upon lease signing.
The Chimes Building is an apartment community located in Onondaga County and the 13202 ZIP Code. This area is served by the Syracuse City attendance zone.

Vibrant and historic Downtown Syracuse is much more than the city's hub. The cobblestone streets, wide sidewalks, and stately brick buildings create a fantastic shopping and dining district, while the neighborhood's proximity to Syracuse University adds a student dynamic. At the heart of Downtown Syracuse, Armory Square -- a large collection of historic warehouses and the armory that's now a museum -- is the city's nightlife hotspot. The Armory contains a large concentration of restaurants and bars as well as several unique shops.
Some of Downtown Syracuse's most beloved landmarks include the Clinton Square Ice Rink, the Museum of Science and Technology, and the historic Landmark Theatre. The ornate theater, decorated in rich red and gold, first opened in 1928. Another landmark, the McCarthy Building, was built in 1894 and is the oldest building in Syracuse.

Property Ratings at The Chimes Building
The new owner and Managment have done an amazing job in restoring this historical building. The Managment is quick to respond to any complaint or work order. The new owners have finished the apartments beautifully and all the common areas, they personally come down to hear our needs. The best part is that it's priced very cheap for the amenities and luxury we are getting. I'd recommend anyone to stay here.
