As called the Texas Medical Center, the Medical Center neighborhood is home to Houston’s major healthcare facilities. This neighborhood houses the Texas Children's Hospital, Houston Methodist Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Texas Health Science Center, and other medical facilities, making it a great choice for students, professionals, and renters who want easy access to healthcare. Residents also enjoy access to Hermann Park, a massive natural area where the Houston Zoo, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and other attractions are located. Great for students and university employees, Medical Center is convenient to Rice University, Texas Southern University, and the University of Houston. NRG Center and Stadium are only two miles south of the Medical Center, so you’ll be able to catch a rodeo or cheer on the Houston Texans in a matter of minutes. The neighborhood is known for its upscale rentals but there are more affordable options as well.

Property Ratings at The Circle at Hermann Park
Last summer, my daughter and son moved in this apartment. A month later, my daughter's bicycle front wheel was stolen in the bike cage at the apartment garage. Last week, my son's car was stolen in the garage parking lot! Office don't do anything! It seems like this happen often, they never improve the security and bad communication. I'm not recommending this place for anyone!!!
Property Manager at The Circle at Hermann Park, Responded To This Review

We would be glad to speak with them directly to identify ways we can support them and review the measures we have in place for the well-being of our community. Please encourage them to contact us at manager.thecircle@morgangroup.com. Thank you.
I’ve been a resident for over two years. My air conditioning keeps going out and now they’re refusing to fix it. Lease is definitely not getting renewed.

Major security issues multiple strings of breaking in the parking garage, stealing cars, and brake into cars for theft of personal belongings. Roaches everywhere Fruit fly problem inside of apartment Nasty pet owners who don’t clean up behind their pets Over flowing dumpsters and recycle bins Trash valet frequently misses your pick up (no credits giving for missed services) Amenities are frequently closed (no credits given when out of service) Elevators frequently out of service and are hot and smelly Parking garage gates frequently out of service Doors to complex do not work leaving residents exposed to intruders. The health classes offered are frequently canceled

We have shared your feedback with our team for review and action. Please feel free to follow up with us directly at manager.thecircle@morgangroup.com for updates.
Nice location but THAT IS IT!!!! 1)Rude employees! 2) Unsafe parking lot (cars got broken in SO many times, and you just get a notification by email.) 3) facility is always shut down (remember you are mandatory to pay for using it) 4)stupid trash service policy. (only place your trash out between 6 to 8pm, if you violate the rule you gets fine)

Love this property. Great location and friendly people.
Dan, the leasing agent, was most helpful in helping us navigate the application process and was very prompt to answer our questions. Maintenance also very prompt and professional. Location is fantastic; we love being here.
The apartment is still good but seems to have gone downhill a bit since i've moved here three years ago. The basics need to be cared for first before time and energy are spent elsewhere.
Great place to live, attentive staff, wonderful amenities and can’t beat the location!
Highly regret choosing to live here. The fire alarms have been broken since I moved in and go off regularly while I am sleeping or working. I now have permanent hearing damage (tinnitus) and sensitivity and they continue to go off. Imagine not hearing silence for the rest of your life because you chose to live here. They are constantly doing "urgent" and "emergency" maintenance on the fire alarms so it is clear they are in a state of disrepair and incompetently managed. The biggest problem with all of this is how loud they are. They are industrial volume fire alarms for small studio apartments and the echoing in the hallway will reverberate your ear drums. You will see other reviews about this as well, it is a constant problem here (even before I moved in). I feel sorry with anybody who has a baby, or a dog or cat that has to tolerate this with no way to cover their ears while their owner is at work. There are times where it has gone off for hours at a time, or repeatedly over the course of several hours. Hallways are cleaned infrequently so rotting food or pet waste sits for weeks. The new 3rd-party service ("Fetch") for package handling is a huge hassle. You cannot use your apartment address for packages now. They have to be sent to a Fetch warehouse and then you schedule a delivery window with Fetch. So far this has been nothing but an inconvenience to me. Previously, there were Amazon lockers which have worked very well but are no longer in use. The concierge service for additional package receiving/sending is being eliminated. Like many reviewers, I also had a fruit fly problem after I moved in which was a pain to resolve.
My living experience in the years I've lived at the Circle at Hermann Park have been good.
The Circle is a great apartment complex with amazing amenities. I have toured many apartment complexes in Houston but this one is definitely the best one considering the location, amenities and the way the apartments look. Residents have access to 3 pools, gyms, awesome cyber cafes and other features. It is also very secured. I am very happy I moved in here.
So far, it is a great community live in. It feels nice to see so many people around playing sports , walking their dogs around the park area. The staff has been more than welcoming and they've addressed all of my concerns. There are many amenities within the community, so I don't have to go out too often to have everything I could want. It's also very nice knowing that, when I work from home (which is often), I am in a safe and inviting community.
Very happy here! Excellent service from property management team!
I've enjoyed living here. Staff is very professional & helpful. Maintenance is great.
I have enjoyed living at The Esplanade more than any other apartment complex Ive lived at before. Staff is helpful, kind, and answers to emails/calls in a timely manner. Maintenance has never been an issue. Highly recommend this community!
We really love living in Amalfi Excellent care and attention to maintaining property - and creating a clean and attractive area around the property - excellent service and repair for our apartment
Very nice place to live in the excellent location.
overall the Esplanade gives good value for the cost. The building is old and shows it. I have no use for the amenities. This Is a very noisy place but that is not something the Esplanade can control. I was very surprised at the number of residents who ignored wearing masks before vaccinations were available. Thank Pam and Ashley for their generous assistance.
Great apartment, includes all the appliances you could want for living, great amenities, and the best location for the price.
It is a terrible choice. Do not move. I have decided to move-out for the following reasons: -The manager/agents are not always responsive or approachable if you need to discuss any matters. I felt unvalued as a customer during my stay in the Circle, especially during last few months. -The neighbors may be annoying, there are times (getting very often last few months) Ive seen dog poo or urine inside the building. Disgusting!!!! -The broken fire alarm breaks your sleep for no reason in the middle of night! -The pool is not cleaned periodically.. -They kept taking extra money for amenities, although everything was locked-down during COVID outbreak! That should have been waived. -Although you pay extra for pest control, roaches may visit your place!
We love living in the Museum District and feel The Circle at Hermann Park is absolutely the premiere rental location. Great apartment layouts. Beautiful property. Exceptional staff.
Great location, Excellent floor plans. Outstanding amenities
Great place to live if you enjoy being woken up repeatedly in the middle of the night by malfunctioning fire alarms
Best apartment for the lowest price right on Hermann Park
I've been at The Esplanade for almost 4 years now. I really enjoy living here. My only negative comment is that there seems to be quite a few false fire alarm instances that go on and sometimes at odd hours through the night. It's very startling and incredibly annoying.
Despite the current COVID circumstances, the management team and maintenance staff are kind, professional, and committed to our safety. This community is a hidden gem in the Museum District, so glad I found it!
Great living spaces. Understaffed management. Good maintenance help. 3.5 stars out of 5.
The apartment overall worth what you pay for. Near Hermann park, fresh air and great customer services. The ammenities are well maintained. There are still minor stuff that makes it not perfect, but I believe it can be improved
Move-in date was a joke and communication is all over place as others try to help. It's not clean and many don't wear masks here or any rec center this apartment complex offers.
It has been an amazing experience from the first time I spoke to the Leasing Office until I actually moved into my apartment. The professionalism and attention to detail during these very challenging times made me realize I had made the right choice. So happy!
Great place to live, amazing location! The entire staff takes very good care of its residents and makes us feel at home.
Great community and very dog friendly!
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Things are taken care of in a timely manner. They inform us of what is going on in the building often - that is also helpful. I am very satisfied with living here in the Circle at Hermann Park and have no complaint!
You get what you pay for.
I love this place! Location is great just across Hermann Park, and close to most of the museums. The complex is very clean, and good maintenance is performed by the management team.
Great location, friendly staff
Nice place to stay and live
If amenities are going to be closed for weeks at a time, residents should be subject to reimbursement of some kind. There has been one piece of communication about opening/closing amenities in the future, which infuriates me. During this time, there needs to be much more done by the management and much more communication to ensure we are all living in a clean, healthy apartment complex.
Excellent response to maintenance requests
This is a terrific community to live in. As a healthcare professional, the convenience of the location unbeatable. I literally walk to work most days. Having an incredible park across the street is another terrific factor. The leasing office as well as the residency office staff and the maintenance crews are all friendly, professional and competent. Great place to be.
The Esplanade is a great place to live in Houston.
Love the landscaping, was a big positive and one of the top reasons why I chose The Circle.
good value for the money
Lovely place with great location, clean and really good amenities.
In transition, however everything and everyone I have interacted with have been very courteous and professional.
It's fine.
Ive been here since 2015 and am totally satisfied. Staff is top notch. Maintenance is efficient. Building and grounds are well maintained. Design is the best I never hear sound from an adjacent apartment, and almost never hear sound from the hallway. Location could not be better across the street from Hermann Park, the Zoo, Miller Outdoor Theatre, and within walking distance of 19 museums.
I love the location of the Circle - very convenient to Medical Center and Hermann Park. I love the friendliness of the staff, maintenance people and residents. It's been a great experience living in the Circle at Hermann Park!
I am living in this property since 2018. We loved the location area, all the events to organize to the residents, and the General Maintenance worker in our building "The Esplanade" in order to utilize strengths in problem-solving, repairs and general upkeep in our property.
I am very pleased with the services that I have received at the Leasing office, maintenance stuff, as well as the shuttle service. All the residents have been very friendly and welcoming and they shared their positive opinions about their residential experience at the Circle. I am very happy to be able to find a place of my residence!
