Staff had poor communication during our lease and as we were ending it. Lease apparently required 60 day notice but staffing office sent a reminder at 30 and required a formal letter. We suffered during a flood and management had very little follow through when it was time to fix the damages. As a first time renter there were times I felt talked-down to and disrespected. Also rent kept raising making it no longer worth the price.

My wife and I have lived at the Claremont for going on 5 years after selling our house. We find that it is well maintained and has an excellent, responsive staff. The maintenance issues that arise from time to time are resolved promptly - generally in a day. We appreciate the amenities that support our lifestyle which include underground parking, indoor trash chutes, indoor mailroom, easily accessible storage closet, and indoor as well as outdoor pools. All of this is in a great location which provides us convenient access to our activities and errands. We would highly recommend the Claremont.

My husband have lived in Missouri, Florida, Utah, and Kansas. We have moved in our life time to 14 different apartments and The Claremont Apartments are our favorite!! Most important, the staff still cares about you once you move in. They are helpful and friendly when you speak with them or need something. Second most important the apartments are built very well and are very quiet. We do not hear our neighbors. 3rd important they keep the apartments well groomed inside and out. The hallways are maintained and kept clean. That is why I give them Top Notch rating!

Their walls smell bad making the living area entirely smelly and maintenance's resolution is to pray for it to go away on it's own. Meanwhile we have now lived with the smell for 3 months. Took 2 weeks of calling and finally visiting the office to get someone to take a look at the issue. They still don't do anything about it. The front desk is unhelpful as they kept resolving our work order without anything being resolved. Now they just string us along. We are tired of calling and getting no response and will not be renewing. Stay away. Dont waste hundreds of dollars to live here there are better places. The apartments and appliances are old for the rent charged. They increase rent every year but never upgrade anything.

The Staff is terrific. They are sincerely interested and always trying to make this a better place. There are activities planned every month to keep things fresh. The location is central too so much. I can't think of any better place I would want to live.
I've lived here 10 years and still love it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are fulfilled within 24 hours. Convenient location. Clean and well stripped garages a plus.

If you're looking for a beautiful apartment near the heart of Overland Park and Johnson County, you're in luck. The Claremont Apartments are the perfect location. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from a grocery store, Target, the Oak Park Mall, great restaurants, and more shopping. The Claremont is mere yards from the I-435 interchange to make traveling anywhere a breeze. The apartments themselves are wonderful and spacious, featuring a large balcony and extra storage. Spring for the parking space in the garage so you don't have to trudge through snow to get to your car. In my particular unit, the kitchen was huge and the bathroom was large enough to hold a floor show. There is a fitness center as well as an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. The staff is friendly. The maintenance team is top-notch. Love it here.
I really love it here. Finishing are not brand new but still up to date. Centrally located. Easy to get just about anywhere in the city. Even though it by a main road it's still very quiet and other residents are friendly. Staff is always nice and prompt with any request.
