Writing this review as a currently frustrated renter at Clarendon Hills Apartment Homes. You will never find a kinder and more efficient maintenance staff but you do not want to rent here because of how difficult it is to get problems resolved. We for three years have battled it out to have an ant infestation resolved and it would take months for them to finally contact us and get the problem resolved. The only person you can talk to is there front office person which is a constantly revolving door since they're dealing with unhappy residents. There is no phone number for the property manager, they are only open at their office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-5p and should you need to resolve any kind of issue that involves the property spending money to maintain a clean and safe home, they will not be prompt with resolving your problems.

We lived in The Clarendon for a year and a half and had many gripes. First, the staff is ever changing and it’s hard to get ahold of anyone in the office. They route calls to a call center and you’re lucky if you ever receive a call back. Second, the laundry is only in building for a couple units, and every other unit has to walk outside, down some stairs, and through a creepy basement to get to the facilities. Third, there was so much noise! Obviously with apartment living, you expect a bit, but there was no soundproofing done to the walls, ceilings, or floors. We lived on the second floor and it sounded like someone was perpetually bouncing a basketball against the floor and ceiling. Fourth, the management company is evil. They take advantage of those who come to the Clarendon for its pricing, and cause major distress upon move out. We just finished dealing with a year long battle with them which ultimately ended in their favor. They denied us a final walkthrough, billed us for multiple inappropriate charges, and were incredibly rude throughout the process. Please, do yourself a favor and find a place with better management, nicer people, and fewer building issues.

I went to visit the Clarendon Apartment homes and I saw nothing but positives. It is a beautiful apartment complex with a great location. I took the time to visit and stop in for a tour, the young lady who toured me did an outstanding job. She was kind and was able to explain everything I needed. Overall great experience.

I completed an application for residence and paid all of the fees, which are supposedly administrative fees to write an actual lease, and somehow the apartment was still given to someone else. All calls to the property manager were pushed off because she was "too busy." Thanks for running my credit for nothing.
