National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

Property Ratings at The Clark Building
Before you consider moving here, do a search for reviews on PMC Property Group in Philadelphia. You'll see most of them are pretty terrible concerning property maintenance and management. Now these people are moving into Pittsburgh and pulling the same act. Do yourself a favor a find a different property. The apartment is new, so it's nice, but living in downtown Pittsburgh is seriously the worst compared to your other options. I had a friend who was living in Pitt and warned me against living down there, but I didn't listen because the apartment was nice and cheap considering what a similar place would cost you in most cities. In retrospect, I really wish I had listened. Definitely check out Southside, Lawrenceville, Squirrel Hill, the North Shore or Shadyside, all better options than Downtown. Plus, when it comes time to move out, they will definitely try to screw you over anyway they can.
In the heart of downtown, this new fully upgraded apartments are beautiful. And it starts as soon as you open the front doors. Amazing, can't beat it price for downtown and all the amenities that come with it! Guarantee you fall in love with any lay out, then you see the roof top deck.... you will sign the lease right there! Watch the pirates any time from the comfort of your home.
Stay Away! PMC Property Group and their property managers are criminals and scum bags who are out to nickle and dime tenants and steal their security deposits or more. I've rented plenty of apartments since college and have never encountered behavior like this from a landlord. This building was an incomplete dump from the time I moved in, and despite my understanding and leaving the unit spotless, their manager Louise has the nerve to extort additional money from me. If you're moving from out of town, living in downtown Pittsburgh is absolutely terrible and inconvenient. It's easy to be enticed by affordable rent and so called "luxury" apartments. Trust me, pick a different neighborhood, this isn't NYC. There isn't one advantage to living here unless you happen to work downtown, and even then I still wouldn't recommend it. Learn from my mistake and stay away from PMC Property Group and The Clark Building.
