It has been a good experience so far. The apartment is nice and the appliances are pretty good. The electric stoves are not to my liking as well as the smell in the hallways. I enjoy the big kitchen and since I am on a corner our balcony is larger. The gym has been nice so far some pieces of equipment are sitting on the floor as well as there were no wipes in the wipe dispensers to clean up sweat. Also the recycle method is odd, having to walk it down to the recycle room is a hassle.
Was a quick and easy move in process. Love the apartment and leasing office. The maintenance is slow….. and the gym is partially working. But the residents are all very friendly
Smooth move in overall and staff are friendly. When I need help they are there to assist me in my question or or issues. The questions I have asked have been answered clearly and otherwise email and other modes of contact have allowed me to my answer.

My husband and I enjoy living at The Cleo. Hate to move but we will need to in July. We will definitely miss it here. We've never had any issues with the staff, all good.

Overall a great place to live. I love the location. The only downfall is it seems like gym equipment breaks easily and for long periods of time.

Charges for breathing. Can’t replace your own light bulbs, kinda ridiculous. Renew lease “deals” are worse than new lease deals. Overall not terrible but would not lease again.

Got everything I asked for. Nina is definitely a jewel. 5/5 From submitting request to just following up to check on how things are going, the team is definitely quite impressive.
The apartment itself is fine. It is laid out well and the finishes aren't dated. However, the management is a -1000/10. Immediately we had to have the washer/dryer fixed, a door fixed, the sink fixed, and the dishwasher replaced. I put in a request for mold growing behind the wall from where the shower walls that attach to the tub were not sealed, at all. The request was deleted, not even closed or responded to. When the faucet in the shower broke we mentioned it to the maintenance guy and he said it is an issue with a lot of apts and they won't fix it. The faucet was replaced with the wrong color so the fixtures are all mismatched. The trash shute handle has been broken for weeks so you have to walk it to the first floor. They do nothing about people leaving outside doors open (why bother with the key cards then). They also do nothing about people not picking up after their dogs. The other day we recorded a walk around the block where there were over 60 piles left behind.
We have enjoyed living here for the past three years. The rules are pretty strict but in place for a reason. I’ve heard people complain about different things but we have not had any bad experiences so we are happy here.
The Cleo in east Nashville is in a great location! I love the gym and the maintenance staff is very responsive. Another plus is that a lot of the residents are very friendly!
I absolutely love living at The Cleo. The amenities are fabulous. It's also super safe and in a great community! It's very walkable to places such as Kroger, Aldi, Publix, and even a Starbucks. There's numerous local parks as well within the area.
So far so good. Moving in was a breeze! Love the parking is set up per floor and the downtown views! Kitchen is very spacious which removes that stuffy apartment feeling.
I love how welcoming the community is and the affordability. The location is just an added plus! You’re close to so many things and able to explore an awesome part of Nashville. Maintenance is super helpful and comes quickly when needed.

Great Neighborhood! I have lived in Nashville almost 10 years on and off and this is the best location I could have asked for. 5 minutes to downtown and the interstate is so close.

So far, good communication and problems are resolved quickly. The only downfall is using fetch as a package handling service; fetch is the worst and hopefully they get out of the contract when it comes due for the complex.

Really love my apartment but I’ve had a lot of things broken or not working properly upon move in which has been disappointing. I understand that things break but I think having to submit 10 maintenance requests within the first month is ridiculous especially when there’s no compensation.

3.5 stars. 2 years now I’ve been here and it’s had its ups and downs. It depends on the management mainly, of course. Current one seems friendlier in general and more renter-oriented for sure. There seems to be many younger renters who have to be reminded of simple ‘home-owning’ and shared space rules. Irresponsible dog owners and the entitled ones are the worse. I love one of the constants- he is an honest, friendly, hard worker who has been here since I moved in. City location and my view is to die for. Excited for the upcoming year here. This property looked incredible on first viewing. Then we moved in and the cracks started appearing. We were told pre-move-in that we couldn't see the dog park area because it was under construction. Post-move-in, we found that it wasn't under construction, but was a complete mess with dog excrement everywhere. That was a big disappointment. The amenities don't seem well cared-for, apart from the gym which is very nice! Management is somewhat responsive and maintenance is very responsive and fast. Our cook-top cracked and it was replaced within hours. We do like the online tenant portal, it makes things like maintenance requests easy. However, the rent payment system doesn't work with my credit union, so I have to hand-deliver a check to the office every month. Overall I'd refer people to live here, it's not perfect, but not many places are.

We are really loving our time at the Cleo. Apartment is beautiful. Gym is great. All the staff is wonderful. And I’m not sure there is an apartment complex in Nashville with a better location.

This apartment has been great! The facilities are nice and well maintained. The ladies in the leasing office are very helpful and the maintenance workers are quick to respond and very nice.
Let me start with some of the apartment staff who for some reason don’t communicate and can’t be kind to anyone. The property manager won’t respond to any of your issues for MONTHS, and when she does, she’ll have no solutions. Can’t wait to move out of this toxic environment. The only good thing about this apartment complex is our maintenance guy and it’s NOT the maintenance management (that person is so rude). Last thing I’ll say, don’t utilize the guest suite. It’s so disgusting, mystery stuff on the walls, dirty dishes in the dish washer, moldy shower curtains, stains on everything…I kid you not. I took pictures for the property management and she wouldn’t even refund my cleaning fee deposit of $125.
Great location. The apartments are fine. I wouldn't call them luxury as they are advertised. The maintenance is basically non existent. When they do do repairs, they are terrible. No effort or care taken whatsoever. Parts of the building have been failing for years and they just let it deteriorate. Stairwells are full of piles of dog hair that has been there for years. They put in very little upkeep to common spaces. Rarely touch any paint or trim up, some of which is missing. Some of the undersides of balconies have been failing and falling apart for years and they just leave them. Doors break and don't operate correctly and they will try and fix them. If they can't they just leave them. A rooftop common space had a covered sitting area with a thatched roof over it. It was damaged and instead of replacing, they just removed it and now it is just a big frame that looks awful. Landscaping is now mostly dirt, mud, and exposed soaker hoses. Long story short, they couldn't care less.
Would have been 5 stars a year ago. The decision to use Fetch to deliver packages was a huge mistake and stairwells are seldom cleaned. Also the hallway outside my apartment hasn't been vacuumed for over 3 weeks.
I wrote this review last week: Tonight it’s 6 degrees in Nashville. My dog and I just stood outside for 20 minutes while the fire alarms went off. Guess what? No fire. It never is. I wonder what will happen to all those wonderful neighbors of mine that don’t come outside anymore when the fire alarms go off, and it’s a real fire. But if you want a very loud fire alarm going off at random times of the day and night a few times a week… come to the Cleo. You’ll love it here and your dog will too. Aside from the fact that the microwave was broke my first day of move in… or besides the fact that I have never been able to use my dishwasher or certain outlets because they didn’t work since I have moved in…I have had several issues with not getting a response from the office here on different occasions for different things. There’s also mold and they don’t care… on May 11, 2022 I was told a work order was put in about black mold growing on my ceiling. No one ever came and looked at it… I had to reach back out to them on August 30,2022. At which they finally sent someone up. He sprayed the ceiling wiped it off. Said he was going to the roof to find the main issue. He also stated someone would come and paint the ceiling. They never came until I actually complained to Lincoln Property Company. Oh and they made me pay a plumbing bill because the lady downstairs toilet was clogged. Blamed it all on me with no proof. They will nickel and dime you to death. This is the WORST!!!! place I’ve ever lived.
The Cleo's amenity spaces were often closed when I lived there for extended periods at a time, the grills and firepits never had fuel, and the office almost never responds to complaints. The hallways/trashrooms were disgusting and infested with bugs. I wouldn't live here again if you paid me.
The location is amazing, place is pretty. The fireplaces, hall lights, grills have been broken for a year, they don't fix. The "secure" parking ramp has a very clear easy entry point they refuse to close, and vehicles are broken into weekly. Packages are stolen regularly. Instead of fixing/policing the facility, you're just charged another 16/mo fee for them to outsource the problem.
Love the location. The office staff is very friendly and Cristina has been beyond helpful since the beginning. We are so excited to stay another year here. :)

I would recommend the Cleo because of it's location, excellent staff, amenities, beautiful apartments, and semi-reasonable rent. I would not recommend the Cleo because of the hardline daily rent increases prior to singing a lease and because of washers in closets and on carpet.
It's in a convenient location. Apartment is pretty quiet and safe.
The customer service is superb despite the crazy high rent.
Mostly for the location. I like living here, but management is the main deterrent.
The staff and management are very responsive and always kind!
The location and amenities when available really for well with a young professional or older retiree. The events were also very fun.
It's a great community and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
I love this complex. I just wish our amenities were open past office hours. Some people work 8-5 and are paying for things they can't use.
