The city of Concord is a large suburb of North Carolina, located just 25 miles northeast of Charlotte. Concord’s history with car racing is legendary, and if you’re interested in renting in the city, you will likely be spending some of your free time at the track!
The Charlotte Motor Speedway is a major NASCAR racing venue and one of the city’s biggest attractions with drag racing, dirt tracks, and a 138,000-seat stadium. This major tourist destination has hosted races such as the Coca-Cola 600, the Bank of America 500, and the Sprint All-Star Race. The first car race was held here in 1960, and the engines haven’t quieted since!
But there’s more to Concord than just the hype of racing. This city is one of Charlotte’s fastest-growing suburbs, and with Downtown Charlotte within quick driving distance, there are plenty of work and entertainment options for Concord residents.

Property Ratings at The Cloisters of Concord
Cloisters Apartment Homes has been our home since 2015. We absolutely love it here. I live on the second floor and love the vaulted ceilings in my living room. Our home is spacious and beautiful. The staff is amazing, they are courteous and respectful and very prompt on fixing any problem you we have. Location is a great plus. Everything you need is just minutes away. On a scale from 1-10. Definitely a 10!!!
I really love that I'm living here. It's been three years and I like every year of it! I lived in CA for 20 years and I just had to leave the rent was just getting way out of hand. A studio house was $11,000 a month and that's only because I knew the landlord. So we came here and looked around for a place to live, I wish we would of come here first because it would of saved a lot of time and stress. There are so many good points on living here. The staff including the maintenance men are prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to have for our needs. The grounds are beautiful, and centrally located to everything.

Thank you! We truly appreciate your feedback and glad to call you a resident!
I cant stress enough to not live here! there are 6 ferel cats live outside my home and it is beyond disgusting. they deficate outside my door amd when i put in a request for them to be removed they told me it was my responsibility! since its not their problem it was my job to trap the cats and take them to the local shelter amd pay the drop off fee. Please dont not stay here, or any southwood realty place. they dont even have a customer service line, they have only a voicemail which i have left messages with 5 time and have never recieves a returned phone call.
I have lived at the cloisters for a year now and.can honestly say this is the first apartment complex I've stayed at and have experienced no problems. It had truly been great. The location is perfect not to mention if you are a coffee lover the smell of roasted coffee beans from the S&D coffee plant located right beside the property. I have three children and they all have enjoyed the property as well. I would recommend this property to anyone from students ...singles and families....great place to live !!!
I love these apartments. They have reasonable rent... The location is great... They are very prompt with anything you need fixed... They have a pool
