Property Ratings at The Colonnade
They let fire alarm go off for longer than 30 minutes before shutting it off. No consideration for people that live in the building with newborn children. The rodents are out of hand and play in vent near ac unit. Maintenance do not like they do they job and neither does management. I would not recommend and every previous comment before mine is 100% true.
The whole building smells like a dumpster. There’s a NEVER ending smell of weed throughout the hall ways. We had bed bugs so much so that we had to get rid of our bed and sleep on an inflatable bed just to keep them away! ANYBODY can come into the building. Homeless people are frequent visitors, drug dealers, drug abusers, the list goes on. There’s only one security guard on ONE side of the building and none on the other side. Once, a woman was robbed by one of these visitors on the elevator. The elevators work sometimes, when you’re not waiting for more than 10 minutes for them to reach your floor. The management is HORRIBLE. They couldn’t care less about making your stay comfortable, IF they’re even there! There are rats and a garbage smell that makes you sick to your stomach. The ONLY good thing about the Colonnades is it views of Manhattan. That’s it. With that, I would say STAY FAR AWAY!
Management is poor Snow removal does not come Elevators smell Apartment has nice windows (but still never cleaned outside I recommend any place BUT this one
Very poor management, rodents and roaches all over the place. As a Renter you have to adjust to their office hours whether for rent or any repair work. Cheap but not worth to invest at personal happiness. Non-accomodating staff downstairs with complains. They clean at will during winters. No online system to pay rent, walk to office to drop off checks. Choice will be once suffering is all time long!
2 bedroom nice and spacious. Not too much no too little, but it's definitely home.
I moved to Colonnade thanks to apartments.com and Is perfect.
The Colonnade apartment is a great place to live convient to 280, parkway and NYC and more but there are the downs of it, location wise. Other than that the studios and apartments are good.
This apartment is getting better every year. Bough it's an old building, it's been Constantly being renovated and apartment looks new. Less crime compared to 4 years ago. Camera are set up everywhere at common areas like parking, lobby, elevators, outside building and hallways. Secured and perfect.
It took almost two months for them to give us a new AC unit, now that summer is almost over, my building sucks!!!
