Property Ratings at The Commons
This apartment complex is right next to the community college. It has washers/dryers on-site, a gym, a community room and space to BBQ outside. Rent for one bedroom is extremely reasonable! All units are upgraded inside!
Management is great! They do their best to solve any issues in very timely manner. They are also very friendly and accommodating.
They come in whenever they feel like it. They lie about why their coming in, and then when they want you out they make up random things to get you out. If you like constantly living in fear that you'll lose your appartment, while overpaying for rent. This is the home for you.
I feel like the previous reviews do not do Granite Bluffs justice at all. I have been renting at Granite Bluffs for about 4 1/2 years and have no issues! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because I am located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so it can be a pain with groceries but, that is my only complaint. The manager is sweet, and helpful and maintenance is friendly and fixes thing pretty quickly!
Management is incompetent, they have repeatedly violated the Fair Housing Act, maintenance will not fix the the thermostat after 6 months and multiple calls, dumpsters are routinely allowed to overflow, the entire building reeks of smoke and cooking odors and the doors don't lock or seal properly. As previous reviewers have stated, the site manager is best described using adjectives that would be censored on this site. This place needs to be condemned, don't waste your time or money renting from these criminals!
Granite Bluffs apartments have nice, stainless steel appliances. Other than that, it is very dated. The management is less than professional. For example: the on site manager, Alyssa, sent me an email to explain to me that the garbage can in the laundry room was not my personal trash can after having put a piece of junk mail into it. The maintenance personnel are a joke as well. For no reason at all, my key fob had been deactivated on a Friday evening so when I left & came back On Saturday morning, I was locked out. Conveniently, the office doesn't open on weekends.so, I called the after hours maintenance line and was instructed to call another number which led me to yet another number that was disconnected. If it's not one thing, it's another. If I had to do it all again, I would've never lived here. Ever.
We have been here for awhile and new people took over in Jan/Feb and it has gone down hill from there, they are incredible rude, so unprofessional, cant bother to return any phone call with concerns that I have as a paying customer...... NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY, I have phone records that show I have called a half dozen times and have been completly ignored. I have children and they need a working bathroom....... When the halls smell like a corpse is decomposing... you need to respond, I pay a lot of money to be here.... I will not renew my lease here and I will never rent from this company and I will be sure to let everyone I know to stay away. They need to be reported. HORRIBLE!!!
