Situated less than 10 minutes from the heart of Alexandria and 10 miles south of Washington, DC, Eisenhower East/ Carlyle District is an urban neighborhood between Interstate 495 and Highway 236. Although small, this community is full of commercial spaces. Gorgeous 2 Bedroom 2 Bath

Gorgeous 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Apt located just on the outskirts of the historic Old Town, Alexandria. Very close to two metro stops (Eisenhower and King Street). Spacious and modern, mixed with a little touch of industrial, this space is perfect for a couple, a couple of bachelor's, or even a small family. 12 ft tall ceiling as well as floor to ceiling windows frames the entire space, giving it an open and bright ambiance. The modern style kitchen opens up to living/dining space only separated by a granite-topped island that includes a sink and dishwasher. The Master bedroom is a great size, has it own bathroom with a separate bath and shower, which leads to a nicely sized walk-in closet. The floor to ceiling windows with blackout shades opens up the room whenever you need it, and provides privacy whenever you want it. The second bedroom is big as well and located on the opposite side of the apartment from the master bedroom. It also has large floor to ceiling windows with blackout shades. The second bathroom is located right next to the second bedroom, but is convenient for guests of the house as well. The area is safe and clean. Conveniently located above a few dynamic restaurants, a convenience store and adjacent to the US Patent Trade Office. It's only a few blocks walk to the fun and historic king street and Alexandria Waterfront, which always have new and exciting things to do, including an abundance of highly acclaimed restaurants and bars. Only 20 minutes drive or metro ride outside of DC proper, the location is great for people who like to avoid the pains of living in the city, but just close enough to be able to enjoy the wonder of the great District of Columbia, our nation's capital.
