The Connection at Athens

I really like my community. One reason I chose this community is because it is gated and there are a few cameras. It makes it feel a little safer. Although, most times, the gates are left open due to them not working. Everyone seems really nice and there are a lot of shopping areas close by.

The maintenance is usually kind of spotty, and the location is very far away. But they do provide a shuttle on the weekdays that go to and from campus. The apartments are ok.

I love living in the connections. They have great amenities, such as a pool, gym, lounge area with games, printer room, and a tanning bed. I love how the apartment comes furnished and has its own wifi.

Aside from a slight bug problem and plumbing problem, the connection is such a fun and nice place to stay. Everyone is really nice, rhetorical community is so amazing and I feel like there is always something to be looking forward to!

I really enjoy living here most of the time, the biggest problem I have ran into would be insect/roach problems. Otherwise, it has been pretty solid.

The Connection has great amenities and a convenient location. It is a few minutes from Publix, Aldi, Target, etc (making it very nice option for students without cars) and there are two shuttles to take you back and forth between campus 7 am-6 pm on weekdays, as well as downtown shuttle and game day shuttles later in the night on weekends. New management has significantly improved the property and made many positive changes such as refreshing areas like gym, pool and clubhouse. The new maintenance staff is excellent! It is generally very quiet in and around the complex. Parking is decent - with free and paid parking options. All units come furnished. If you’re looking for unfurnished options, check out Abbey West a few minutes away. As far as actually living here, I think everyone's experiences are slightly different from unit to unit, building to building and roommate to roommate. .

Love the space! Even if there were issues, maintenance would fix it real fast. The amenities are great too and easily accessible. The space is quiet but they do have occasional events.

Spacious units, great amenities & friendly staff! Maintenance is quick, but parking can be tricky. Overall, a solid place to live! One drawback is that the walls are very thin, I can hear my neighbors music, and even within the apartment itself if I'm sitting in my room, I can hear everything happening in the living room etc.

great place I really like the open space and the fact that i have my own bathroom, the kitchen is really nice aswell and is easy to use. the rooms r also good size

This place is nice although the facilities are a little bit old, but they are quick to repair and there are not a lot of cockroaches,I like this community, and the shuttle also has two large cars, which is very good.

The amenities here are so amazing! Me and my roommates have also never had an issue with someone coming out and swiftly fixing maintenance issues. We love it here!

Not amazing, but not bad at all. Generally I would say that the location is pretty great regarding how close the complex is to the highway and grocery stores! However, the maintenance can be a little slow sometimes, and it is quite pricey to live here.

I really like the apartment complex. The only problem is a lot of the appliance is can be broken, but the team works very fast to fix it and there is a roach problem.

amenities are great but employee help is not. they never answer my questions or get back when they say they will. hate to have to be negative but it’s been a continuous issue.

So far, I've only been as far as signing the lease, but the process has been so much easier than I expected!!! This is my first ever apartment so I was expecting a more difficult process

The Connections at Athens has been an okay experience. The apartment is nice, however, the service is not the best. There doesn't seem to be consistency within management and everyone is confused. I received a call about the cancelling of my least twice and it was three different rates. Also, they clear maintenance requests without actually completing the work. Besides those two issues, they have community building events and care for residents. It is affordable and a good location for restaurants and stores, where you aren't required to pay for parking.

It’s been awesome. I love staying at the connections with my great roomates!!! There’s so much to do here in the club house. There’s a pool as well which is great!

There are great amenities that come with this apartment. It has a nice pool area and clubhouse. The clubhouse comes with study rooms, printer room, and lounge areas. The complex is right next to a Walmart and Target which is great. The apartment comes furnished with couches, A tv in the living room, and tables.

My friends and I love living here! No complaints. It's quiet at night and we've never had a problem with overly loud neighbors. Lots of fun things to do also!

Plus, having my own bathroom is a huge bonus! It's private and spacious, and I don't have to share it with anyone, which really makes a difference. Pretty good amenities and in a good location compared to stores and groceries. Sometimes the appliances have minor issues but maintenance is pretty quick compared to other places

The apartment is nice, I live in a 4 bedroom and the layout is perfect. You have to pay for electric which can get pricey, but it’s not too bad. The shuttle is very convenient.

Move in was the one of the reason this apartment wasn’t 5 stars. When I moved in, the floors were covered with paint even after they sent a team to come clean it, dishwasher was broken, tub was stained, and we had no dressers for the first month. Also, our tv still isn’t functioning.

I really love it here! The apartment is clean and well maintained. I have never had a problem with anything is in apartment or with the office. They take care of amy concerns I have.

I really enjoy living at the Connection and using all of the amenities they have to offer. I love all of the green space and walkable areas. I only take off one star for a minor bug issue but it has since been resolved thanks to helpful maintenance.

Everything is good. When I need help , I go to the leasing office and they are always happy to help. The pools and hammocks are my favorite places to visit when i need to leave my room.

The apartments are a quiet place and all of the amenities are clean and organized, there’s a lot of events that bring all the people together and they are very sweet when it comes to calling the office and they know how to help

i think it's good Especially the property management is very good. When I first moved in, my air conditioner broke down, and it was probably broken for a week. The property management actively dealt with the issue and gave us a $100 compensation.

Very good experience, solid apartments for the area, decent upkeep for the price. Doors are questionably sized. Parking is great, quite accessible.

The leasing office isn’t very helpful but the apartment itself is nice. Our apartment was a mess and moldy when we moved in but they came and cleaned it after complaining.
