Busch is a commercial hub located about 10 miles north of Downtown Columbus. The northern portion of the neighborhood contains office buildings, warehouses, and the Anheuser-Busch brewery. The southern portion of Busch is filled with restaurants, nightclubs, retailers, and hotels. The neighborhood’s residential streets feature affordable to moderately priced apartments. Despite a lack of green spaces within the neighborhood’s borders, locals enjoy convenient access to several parks located less than a mile from the center of Busch such as Sharon Woods, a 761-acre preserve with a lake and hiking trails. If you’re looking for affordability and easy access to plenty of amenities, Busch is a great choice.

Roach infested and reports of bedbugs from neighbor. After 15 months of complaining about roaches and several other issues with the apartment the decided it would just be easier to give me a 30 day notice to leave even though I was perfect with my rent for 15 months. I told them I am a disabled veteran and and I need these things fixed for my health. Three days later they give me a 30 day letter to leave property. Every time I complained about something I would get some sort of “lease violation “. I got a lease violation about my dog pooping in the yard. I don’t own a dog. lol.

They’re only worried about money. Raised the rent but nothing was renewed, updated, NOTHING. Told them when I moved in the air filter wasn’t replaced and made my apartment smell like dog they never came to fix it. Heater never worked no matter how many times I called maintenance to fix it so I had to buy heaters for the apartment. Carpet was never replaced so my time living there the carpet came apart. Pretty sure I was charged for those damages. Dishwasher broken never replaced, mold began growing places and they told me just get hot water and bleach to remove. Was constantly getting sick in there which cause me to lose work. Worse experience I’ve had living in an apartment .

This place is horrible. The interior is nothing like the pictures (I did virtual tour due to COVID-19). Apartments are roach infested with roaches coming out of vents. There is also mold. Leasing office does little to fix problems. Do not lease here.

I am a parent of a student that lives here. She goes to OSU and is only 15 mins from school! We live in westerville and I can be close to her without smothering. I'm excited my daughter has a good, clean apartment. She doesn't have an electric bill which is also nice! The staff have been very helpful with getting my daughter situated for her first solo apartment and as a mother I am grateful.

Thank you for commenting on your experience at Continent Village. We value your feedback.
Not bad for the price. Pricing, however, is a little suspect. You pay a flat fee for water based on bedroom count, not occupancy. So if you are single and rent a 2 bedroom, you will pay more for water than a 1 bedroom with 2 tenants. If the tenant before you ruined the carpet to the point that it needs to be replaced, you will be required to pay additional monthly rent for the new carpet. Maintenance to this point has seems to be acceptable. Cleaning done prior to move in sub-par at best. I will likely leave the unit cleaner than when I first took possession. Don't look at the pictures on the website and expect your unit to look anything remotely close. Decent location, overall relatively quiet with only occasional noise issues.

I was a resident FOUR YEARS AGO and they just submitted a collection on June 6, 2020 for over $1,000! Not only is the charge not justified, I am now being denied for apartments and have no where to go when my lease is up at my current place in September. The management is trash, the buildings are gross, and the residents are disgusting. I would smell pot 24/7. People would leave their trash in the lobby. My balcony was rotten. I was told my rent would NOT go up at the end of my lease but when it came time to renew, the price had increased $100. I am waiting to hear back from either the leasing office or debt collector as to how I can fix it and not be homeless in two month. I wish I could use inappropriate language to warn you of. Just don’t do it.

I lived here for about a year so I will try to keep this brief. Pros: -Quiet. -Affordable. -Units are pretty spacious. -Not a lot of traffic, Continent Village is kind of out of the way. -Near two bigger cities, so it’s convenient if you need to shop/run errands. -Management (for the most part) is quick to address issues. -Maintenance is also relatively fast to address problems. Cons: -ROACHES + the contracted pest-control is virtually USELESS. If you have an infested unit, you will be dealing with pests from the day you move in UNTIL the day you move out. Shortly after moving in, I found a roach nest in my kitchen behind shelves. The roaches were hiding in old plastic bags that WEREN’T removed from the previous tenant (see pictures). -That being said, whoever cleans up vacant units (if anyone), does a poor job. -I’ve had items stolen from my car. -Windows don’t open, which consequently promotes moldy growth in window sills. -When your neighbors smoke the odors seep into your unit. Again, you can't open windows --makes it hard to rid apartment of smells. -Grounds upkeep is mediocre. I can recall that after a roofing project, there were rusty nails scattered across the sidewalks and no one came to remove them. There will often be small trash on the ground (wrappers, cigarette butts, etc.). There appears to be a few dumpsters where trash is forever present. -To my knowledge, there weren’t any sex offenders that lived at Continent Village. However, there were a HANDFUL that moved to the neighboring complexes. -There is no security, however CPD patrols the area. Bottom line: From talking to other residents, many have different experiences from myself. I am only reporting MY OWN experiences. Also, a lot of the high reviews you see are from new tenants, who are given incentives to leave a review. I’m sure the ratings would change if those same tenants made a review as they were leaving. This isn’t the “flashiest” place to live, but it is a good enough place to keep your head low. There are better complexes around—but if you can find a pest-free apartment here, it’s worth looking into.

I like the space of the one bedrooms. It gives you enough space to have to grow into something bigger. No one is noisy outside of what you would normally hear in a complex, but overall good.

This is my first apt and I have lived here for over 7 years. My neighbors have all lived here prior to me moving in and I still have the same neighbors to this day and they are all very friendly. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything that you need. I have only had to contact maintenance maybe 3-4 times the whole time I’ve lived here and they have always arrived promptly and fixed things quickly and thoroughly. The rental office staff are extremely personable and always remember us. I have had a child since moving in and use the on sight laundromat regularly and have to stop by the rental office to add money on to the laundry card. The office staff always has kind words to say and comment on the growth of my son (he’s 2yrs old now) whenever we have to add money on to the laundry card. We live in a one bedroom apt and it’s so spacious it’s been hard for us to move even with the new addition. Our bedroom consists of a king size bed, mini crib, and 2 dressers and don’t get me started on what is in our walk in closet. Our living room has a sectional and still has space for our sons toys and pack n play. Great place to live and the rental office staff is honest and understanding and will work with you. Almost like a second family. -Tiffany

There have been several things all of a sudden going out such as our AC (in July and I am PREGNANT) a leak under the bathroom sink, door knobs not turning and getting stuck, and many other things. We have asked to get our door knobs fixed several times and nothing. They said they checked everything before they moved us in but I think they over looked some things...

I really like the area , close to my job and close to my family which I love. The apartment I currently live in is nice I’m on the bottom floor. There no one above us and it quite for the most part I don’t hear a lot of noise on the top floor unless if there walking up the steps. When I first moved into my place there was a water leak In the ceiling in the hallway bathroom but the maintenance did fix the problem. But main concern making sure the drain outside is fix

Continent Village is a great place to call home! The neaighbors are nice and quiet here. The office staff try to make you as comfortable as possible. So far this place is the best apartment communty ive ever lived at!! Im very happy here!!!!
I love my apartment at continent village. My girlfriend and i have been here for about a year and love it. It was our first place. We appreciate the office staff and maintenance and how they work to keep us happy.
The Continent provided me with my first apartment at the end of the summer. I love the community. Since my move I have had no issues besides the non-working dishwasher. I placed a work order with the staff and the issue was resolved the next day. Everyone in the office has been very accommodating and helpful. This experience has made me very comfortable in my new home. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone minds their own business. I have no regrets with choosing Continent Village Apartments as my new home. As a matter of fact I would choose them again. Thank you Continent!!!!!!!!
the rooms are spacious and area is peaceful.the staff is helpful and friendly.banks and churches and shopping are nearby.restauants and nightlife are too. the i71 freeway is closeby.
The leasing office is shady. AXS Opportunity Fund is even more shady. Be prepared to contact the CFPB and the BBB when you move out.
I would NOT recommend this apartment complex. I have lived here for 2yrs and in April 2017 I came home to the ceiling collapsing in my bedroom and water and plaster all over my tv , dresser and the floor. I contacted the office and they came out and plastered a new board in the ceiling. In May it began to rain through the board into my bedroom and plaster began to fall. I contacted the office and told them simply putting up a board did not fix the issue and that the roof needs to be fixed. They said they would have to email corporate to have roofing contractors fix the issue. For the next 4 months it continued to rain in my bedroom and the ceiling began to collapse again. I have videos of it pouring raining in my apartment for all 4 months. I decided to write them a letter in July letting them know if repairs were not made further legal action will be taken. Still no communication or repairs were done. I literally had to put my rent in escrow for them to make the repairs. When they were served by the courts...what do you know ...the next day I hear people banging on the roof and they knocked on my door to fix the collapsing ceiling. Why did it have to take legal action for them to make the repairs? The living conditions were terrible and unacceptable. This is not how any property should treat their tenants. The office manager Gita is very rude and didn't care about the issue. I have a mediation hearing with the court to possibly release their rent. Do you know they're charging me late fees during this escrow process!! Are you serious?!! You let it rain in my bedroom for 4 months without any communication or repairs and u want me to pay late fees because I had to put your rent in escrow to get my apartment repaired!!! These people are completely crazy.. I will be seeking further legal action for damages and the 4 months they ignored my requests. They need a new office manager who cares for others and will treat the tenants like they want to keep them. Would they live in conditions like that? Be warned.. stay away the apartments are not good and management is even worse.

I can honestly say that I am pleased here at The Continent Village. I was welcomed by the friendly office staff and they were very helpful from the very beginning (Especially Lakita). I have honestly only had two minor maintenance issues that were addressed immediately after I reached out to the office about them. Its very quiet and have never had any problems with any neighbors everyone is super friendly. I am a single young professional and I relocated to Columbus last year and I plan to be here a long time.

The Continent Village Apartments are in an excellent location with easy access to anywhere you want to go. There is plenty of area surrounding this beautiful site to be able to take a walk and enjoy nature. Many enjoy walking their dog. The maintenance is exceptional. I really appreciate that they take pride in their job and keep the apartments in good condition. The neighbors are friendly, responsible people. The management staff is always responsive and considerate and strives to settle any issue you may have. Very Sincerely JILL
First apartment, and it was a nightmare. They fumigated the apartment next to mine then told me I had bed bugs, which I did not, and attempted to charge me 400 dollars for fumigation. I threw a fit and they eventually told me i didn't have to pay for the treatment, a month later i receive a letter saying I'm getting evicted for not paying for a fumigation treatment. They will swindle you out of every dollar they possibly can. The cheap rent is not worth it, plus you can find apartments for this cheap elsewhere in columbus. DO NOT RENT HERE.
