Also known as the Warehouse District, North Loop is an artistic neighborhood just over one mile northwest of Downtown Minneapolis. With a laid-back vibe, North Loops offers a diverse community and an array of unique businesses. Former industrial buildings have transformed into hip lofts and farm-to-table restaurants such as Spoon and Stable on North 1st Street. Locals enjoy visiting Target Field for a Twins game or the Minneapolis Farmers Market for local product, snacks, and candy. Public transit, local breweries, interstate access, and more make North Loop the convenient and unique place that it is. North Loop sits along the Mississippi River separating the neighborhood from Boom Island Park, a riverside green space with a boat dock, walking paths, and a playground.

Property Ratings at The Copham
I've been living in this apartment for the past couple of years, and I can't recommend it enough. The location is fantastic, the building exudes character, the amenities are top-notch, and the management team has been consistently excellent. It's been a wonderful experience overall!
I have been living at Copham for 3 years and counting. The management and staff are like family, great at all the qualities that one would look for out of an apartment building; great communication, professional, and well rounded individual hires that get any request asked of them done well effectively and efficiently.
Take it from someone who’s lived all over the City of Minneapolis, the North Loop neighborhood, and specifically The Copham apartment building is a GREAT place to live! Apartments? Incredible. Building? Incredible. Management? Incredible. Neighborhood? Incredible. If you love Warehouse style apartments, a building that feels like a community/neighborhood, a neighborhood that has everything you could want/need (stores, restaurants, activities, etc), then trust me The Copham is the choice for you.
The Copham is a great place to live! Sara and Jordan at the front desk are amazing! Always throwing happy hours and bringing in donuts. Jann, on the maintenance team, is on top of every maintenance request and has helped me so many times. He’s the best! The building is also very pet friendly, so that’s a necessity for me. I can’t think of living anywhere else in the North Loop!
Location is in a prime spot, everything & anything is around or near. Staff has always been great to speak to and/or communicate with. Gym is great, along with the rooftops skyline view.
Great floor plans, amenities and staff. The garage space is a tight squeeze.
You can’t beat the high ceilings with massive windows and a true modern industrial feel. The floorplans are spacious and the maintenance team is awesome! The management is also super friendly and helpful.
Great place to live! Friendly staff and neighbors! Good location in the heart of north loop.
There is so much to love about living here. Each unit has their own unique industrial-chic vibe. This building is riddled with history (it used to be an old factory!) and eclectic art + design. On top of that, management and maintenance is top tier. There are monthly social events which are great opportunities to connect with neighbors. The rooftop space is also amazing. I've spent so many summer nights hanging up there with friends! 10/10 recommend touring, and falling in love.
The Copham is a premier place to live in the North Loop. Great experience to date over 1 year.
I have rented in many locations with roommates, but The Copham has been my first solo apartment. The entire experience has been as great or better than I could have hoped for! The chic modern warehouse aesthetic of the units has been the cherry on top!! Firstly, the location is absolutely fantastic - situated in the heart of the North Loop, everything I need is within walking distance. Whether it's cafes, restaurants, parks, or events, I'm never far from anything! The staff here are incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the leasing office to the maintenance team, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure residents are well taken care of. Any issues or concerns I've had have been promptly addressed, making me feel truly valued as a tenant. One of my favorite amenities is the gym. It's well-equipped with modern machines, large windows, and plenty of space for a great workout. Having this convenience right in the building saves me so much time, hassle, and membership fees. And let's talk about being dog-friendly - it's a huge plus for me! The building not only welcomes furry friends but also provides amenities like a pet washing station. It's evident that they prioritize the well-being of all residents, including four-legged companions. I do not have a pet myself, but I often watch them for my family and friends and they have no problem with allowing me to do this. Overall, I can confidently say this is the best place I've ever lived. The combination of a prime location, exceptional staff, top-notch amenities, and pet-friendly policies make it an unbeatable choice for anyone looking for a place to call home. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of their next apartment.
The Copham has been an awesome place to live so far! From the friendly staff that always make sure to welcome you home to the very nice gym, I have had nothing but positive experiences. The units have great features and I have had no maintenance issues so far. The fully brick bedrooms do get a little warm in the summer or cold in the winter, but overall, it has been manageable. Everything is always being cleaned, which is very reassuring and nice to see and the encounters with all of the staff have been awesome. Would highly recommend The Copham if you are looking for a place right in the heart of everything.
Copham is a great apartment in a great location. Love the spacious gym and the rooftop. The staff is great and plans events every month. Would recommend!!
The Copham has been a wonderful place to live! The location can’t get much better as it is steps away from some of the most popular bars and restaurants in Minneapolis. The unit itself has also been great, and I have had no major maintenance issues since moving in. I also believe that the Copham has one of the best, if not the best apartment gym in the cities. There is a full set of dumbbells, a squat rack, a smith machine, a bike, a cable machine, and all of the most popular machines you would find in a larger gym. Additionally, it is very well kept. I go to the gym everyday and see it being cleaned, and when there are malfunctions with the machines, they are fixed within a few hours. The only thing that could be better about the apartment is the amount of guest parking. There are 3 allocated guest parking spots, but with being in such a prime location, these spots fill up very quickly and make it difficult to have guests over sometimes and especially on the weekends when even paid street parking can be hard to find. The last thing I will touch on is the management. I have had nothing but pleasant encounters with the whole management team at the Copham. They are quick to respond to any concerns, plan nice resident events, and are always so kind.
Moved in from out of state about 6 months ago and the experience at The Copham has been wonderful! The amenities are great, rooftop is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend living here to anyone looking in North Loop as it’s right in the center of town and is an easy walk to many great restaurants and bars!
One of the best spots to live in Minneapolis. Very well maintained and the staff are awesome. I’ve never had any issues that weren’t fixed right away. The community is nice too and you can’t beat the rooftop patio!
I love the Copham. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have spacious floor plans with high ceilings. This is also the only building I was able to find in this area that has garbage disposals.
We’ve been living at The Copham for over a year and a half now and have had the best experience! Everyone is very nice and communicative, and the few times we have had maintenance issues, the staff and Jann have been on top of it SO fast!! We’ve loved living at The Copham, our unit is amazing, the amenities are great and its overall just a great building and staff!
The Copham has a great location in the North Loop, amazing & helpful staff, and beautiful apartments!
The Copham’s is a great apartment for those who have recently graduated, want a taste of the city, and also want an abundance of new places/experience all in waking distance. The Copham is in the perfect location, right in the heart of the North Loop! As I’ve found, being a resident of the Copham has provide me access to so many new and cool experiences. The ACME Theater, Target Field, the Armory, and a ton of fantastic restaurants are all in walking distance. Additionally, having a tricked-out commercial gym makes it convenient for residents to walk down and get a workout in whenever desired. I am a new resident of MN and can’t say enough great things about my experience thus far at the Copham.
Property Manager at The Copham, Responded To This Review
Thank you for such a great review! We love that you have decided to call The Copham your home! -The Copham Team
6-7 months into our rental agreement, the Copham decided to let us know that they had made a mistake and needed us to pay about $1000 in back pet charges. The non-refundable $500 and then $50/mo for every month missed. This was right at Thanksgiving time. When we asked why this was happening they said it was an audit and then tried to put the blame on us and asked why we didn't let them know that our pet fees were missing. Essentially putting the blame on us for their mistake. Fast forward to us moving out (which we couldn't do fast enough) and they first tried forcing us to stay an extra month at the month to month rate because they said we didn't give proper notice (even though after the pet fee debacle we told them explicitly that we would not be renewing our lease). Then, once we left, they came after us with more charges saying that the refrigerator meat drawer was cracked and it would be $136 to replace it. Whatever deal they're offering, isn't enough. The neighborhood is so loud and trashy, the tenants are all college kids who party throughout the night and the area is just not safe anymore. We had a guy pull a knife on us and our dog as we were walking back into the building after letting our dogs out (because the pet area smelled so bad our dogs wouldn't even go in it.) Terrible place, terrible company, steer clear. I wish I could give my number out to talk to everyone who wants to apply. Save your money and get a better place, for cheaper, literally anywhere in the Twin Cities. They profit off of being some fake, wanna be instagram influencer hot spot.
Prospective tenants beware. The management staff in charge of the building have some shady practices when moving out of the units. Make sure you document your move out walk and address any and all issues upfront when you walk with them. If you don’t, they will come after you months after you have moved out with baseless claims just because they feel like it. They hide behind emails and letters instead of reasoning with you upfront or even via phone. If you hate petty headaches and nuances I would avoid this place at all cost.
