The hamlet of Ronkonkoma settles along the hamlet of Lake Ronkonkoma’s south and west sides. Interestingly, while the two hamlets are adjacently located, Lake Ronkonkoma resides mostly in the town of Brookhaven, while the hamlet of Ronkonkoma lies in the town of Islip. Ronkonkoma has a large population of almost 20,000 residents and features several characteristics that make it an appealing destination, such as the lake, which serves as a beautiful attraction in and of itself considering the many parks and beaches that surround it.

I work in the city 3 times a week and when I tell you moving here has been a complete game changer I’m not kidding. It used to take me half an hour to get to the train and now it takes me 3 minutes (MAX!) it’s so great being a commuter and living at The Core! ??

Beautiful apartments in up-and-coming neighborhood. Easy access to the railroad station. Great leasing office staff. Only concern is tenants with dogs utilizing the public green to allow their dogs to relieve themselves. They seem to forget it’s a public space where other tenants use for exercising, social gathering and children play. Our kids will play in the grass area and tenants will allow their dogs to relieve themselves. Since we love the community so much, we are able to deal with the situation.

- valet trash is not working, no garbage was ever picked up. - 24/7 ventilation fan is working, it's too cold during winter, so it should be controlled by the renter. - hot and cold water is wrongly connected, or mislabeled. - windows are not fully open. - lovely hardwood floor - a quiet place to live. - great gym.

Everything was well thought out in the design, the amenities for the residence and a lot of modern facilities. As more businesses move into the main plaza area it just makes for convenience and a really nice place to live at work.

So far, so good. The Core management team is amazing. So many planned events for the residents and all done so well. The apartment is lovely and the building is safe. The common areas are beautiful and so clean. The one downside is the parking. Quite expensive on top of the monthly rent.

The parking situation has been a problem since I moved in. The price of parking should be included in rent. Also, the fire alarms go off for no reason and wake me up. The dumpsters are slammed outside and wake me up. They are Way too loud every morning when emptying the dumpsters. The appliances are always broken.

Beautiful community. Water pressure is poor. Feels you’re taking a shower with trickling water. Building maintenance says it’s a town ordinance requirement. It seems ridiculous. I’m really frustrated and it’s taking away from the experience. Some of the units were rushed through construction. Poor attention to detail.

There are certain things experiences we cannot put a price to it and living in “The Core “ is one such unique experience. We moved 2 weeks ago. Many thanks to Eniea , Nick, Saif and Audrey for their amazing attitude, helping tendency and easily approachable nature resulting in sorting out initial teething issues. Love the vibrant community feel, the ambience and keep gazing out of the windows (taking a small break from work). There's lots of security security security!!!! Not a bad thing.. love having my garbage picked up right outside my door and underground parking..

Gotta say, I didn't think I'd live this far east but something about being here just feels right. It's welcoming and the stores haven't even opened yet. The staff on site does everything they can to make your days as comfortable as possible. Maintenance team is always around to help when you need it. Excited to see what's to come when everything opens up

Had some maintenance issues, but the management was receptive and attemped to fix the issues in a timely manner. Otherwise am happy with my apartment.

A life of luxury! The location is great and the staff is very friendly! The buildings and grounds are kept immaculate. The coffee and snacks downstairs is also a nice treat on your way out of the door. We love it here!

When looking for an apartment I was drawn here by the all the extras available Now and coming soon. The staff here made signing up and moving in so easy. I have moved a number of times and this by far was my best experience.

Staff is very welcoming and hard working at all times. The community events really bring the place together. Just as all new things there is some rough spots regarding parking and enforcement of certain rules. However as time goes on I believe it will be sorted out. Overall very nice place very kind staff.

Very good! The only thing a little rough is the parking situation ?? the price of a parking spot would be my absolute only complaint because between paying a lot to live there $115 tax a month just for a spot to park is a lot:/ it’s confusing/ hard for guests to come visit:( Regardless of that, Staff are the most friendly, kind & helpful I have ever met! & it’s a beautiful place to live :)

everyone is so kind and lovely here. moving is never easy but it was an easy move in process. we had some troubles within my apartment but the maintenance team was reliable and quick to help me out.
