Property Ratings at The Cork Factory Lofts
Love the Cork Factory community! Great place to live with friendly, caring staff. The unique apartment designs are something you won’t find anywhere else in the Strip.
Moved here 17yrs ago best decision for me and my wife kept us both happy and involved
It's a great community of residents supported by an excellent support staff.
We love the Cork Factory. Wonderful amenities, excellent and polite service and the people who live here are open and interesting. The loft feel of the apartments is perfect, and service and maintenance are first rate. Highly recommended to anyone looking for urban living downtown. We particularly enjoy the friendliness and openness of the people who live and work here. No place better.
I rave about the Cork Factory to everyone that asks me where I live. I love everything about living here.
Love living here at the Cork! Great community that has been so welcoming over the years. Not only are the apartments and amenities great but also the staff and residents.
The Cork Lofts gets 5 stars in every single aspect!! The management, front desk staff, maintenance men and ,cleaners all go above and beyond. They take much pride in The Cork Lofts and it definitely shows! Thursday night community parties for all the residents are so much fun! Plus great drinks and food! The apartments are so cool and the extra large windows bring in so much light.
This beautiful building used to be the premier apartment community in Pittsburgh. That is no longer the case. It cannot compete with other properties in the Strip, yet the rent continues to increase. It’s greatly in need of renovations. The kitchens and bathrooms are 15 years old. The outdoor furniture and pool chairs are falling apart. The tiny “temporary” gym space is in the middle of the lobby. Promises were made over 2 years ago that new gym was coming. The business center was turned into a package room. It’s a real shame. I urge Midwood to invest in this historic property before they lose even more residents.
Everything one would want in a living space- unfailingly friendly, efficient and effective response to any and all needs; clean, beautiful, unique and well-maintained environment; wonderful feeling of neighborliness among staff and tenants; every amenity imaginable; safety and security; lovely community events including happy hours, holiday celebrations, book clubs- I can’t imagine living anywhere else in the Strip district.
The o/a experience here is very nice, but lately there often seems to be a surprise of extended repair and construction schedule, and the elevator being out of service. The gym in the lobby of the Warehouse building was supposed to be temporary thing but now it lags there like a sore thumb. Just when you thought you were going to have a beautiful summer a surprise e-memo informs the community that the tower building will be surrounded by construction equipment making noise M-F and blocking off the beautiful promenade. The first floor hallway walls are dinged and chipped and could use painting. It feels like its gone downhill a bit in terms of the experience.
A very comfortable home with a historical atmosphere in the apartments - wonderful large windows - wonderful appliances-sufficient cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms but bathtubs need updating
I have been living in the Cork Factory for a little over 5 months. I am very happy with my decision to live in the Cork Factory. The amenities are great, especially the weekly happy hours and food trucks. Looking forward to the pool this summer.
The Cork Factory has been my home for 10 years; love everything about it!! From Monica to the landscaping to the location to my neighbors, love it!
The Cork Factory is a great place to live. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming which really makes this place feel like home. The apartments have such a unique style that you can’t find anywhere else in the city.
The Cork Factory is a community…. One where everyone can find a niche of people and activity to enjoy. There are Happy Hours, Dinners, Book Clubs, etc It is a safe community. I work a lot of nights, and feel very comfortable coming home at the hours I do. Last, but not least, it is uniquely historical and beautiful and terrifically accessible to all The Strip District has to offer
Fun place to live and lots going on around here! Lots of walking distance things and fun happy hours in the building on thursdays. walkable community and very dog friendly
Absolutely love it. Been here for two years and I have no complaints. Everyone is very friendly. Living in my apartment is an absolute delight. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtful design create a welcoming space. The natural light floods through the windows, highlighting the stylish decor. The modern kitchen is a joy to cook in, and the amenities make daily life convenient. The location is ideal, with easy access to essentials and vibrant community surroundings. I appreciate the tranquility and comfort my apartment provides – it truly feels like home.
The aesthetic of the building and grounds are amazing. The apartments are quiet and cozy. The community of residents couldn’t be more welcoming and kind and the staff and maintenance crew are extremely responsive and helpful. Loving my new apartment!
Easily one of the best homes I've ever had the opportunity to live in. The sense of community is unmatched. The staff go above and beyond at the Cork Factory. I am sad to be leaving.
The Maintenance team is amazing. They're always right on it with every request. In this case we wanted an annual furnace filter change. Not only was it taken care of that day, but we were left with an extra set of filters! As always, great follow-through. Thanks very much, Anne & Mike
Cork factory is a great place to live! Wonderful community and they give back to their residents with fun happy hours and events throughout the year.
CF is a friendly community and the staff try hard to accommodate residents. The outside amenities are especially inviting and well maintained.
The Cork Factory is great. The staff are lovely and super helpful. The apartments are spacious and I love the high ceilings. The building is always trying to self-improve, making new gym spaces, getting us extra fun happy hours etc. It's a great place to live!
The Cork Factory is absolutely wonderful!!!!!!! Everyone is happy and friendly including the staff and all the neighbors. The building is well taken care of and very clean.
I love living at the Cork Factory. The community is wonderful and the staff is extremely attentive to residents needs. From the time I moved in, I felt welcomed!!
My rating of The Cork continues to go down, sadly, because the building will not open up the hot tub. It is cold and dark and there’s very little to do this time of year, but the hot tub would be absolutely perfect. Everyone in the building misses it. Having it closed in the winter makes no sense.
The local management office personnel are amazing and always aim to be supportive of any needs or requests. (Brittany, Carmen, etc.) They're just awfully nice and fit in well with the great Cork community. The maintenance team is fantastic with special notice to Mike. He goes out of his way to assist with everything. Thanks to all.
Amazing apartment to live in. Very clean, noise level is great, amenities are great as well. Additionally, Lisa is very responsive and Jeff/Gretchen are great as well.
Love living at The Cork Factory! The unique apartments are something you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Great location in the heart of the Strip District and the community really makes you feel at home.
Great experience so far! Moved in 2 months ago. Everyone has been super friendly and the Thursday happy hours are a really nice addition. Looking forward to the summer months and being able to utilize the large outdoor area with pool and hottub.
I so enjoy the feeling that being a part of this community gives me! I’ve only been here since 11/1 and have already been included in so many resident events!
This is a beautiful building in an excellent part of town. Incredibly walkable with access to riverside running/bike paths, while still being relatively quiet. Great staff and facilities, and nothing stays broken or unattaneded to for very long. The rents are sort of high, but you get what you pay for: beautiful finishes, 24-hour doorman, well-kept gym and other facilities, community activities. I love it and I’m so glad I decided to live here when I moved to PGH for work.
Love living at the Cork! The management team is top-notch. Our community property looks fantastic and is resident-friendly! We have never regretted our move to the Cork family!
The community overall is quite welcoming and friendly. Most of my interactions are limited to small talk but it seems like it would be relatively easy to build stronger social connections if desired.
Wonderful place to live. Front desk staff is amazing. Jeff always goes the extra mile and Gretchen is wonderful. Mikey for all your maintenance needs. Friendly neighbors and love the weekly happy hour.
We have been at the Cork Factory for almost 3 years and have loved the entire experience. The Management Company and all of its employees are incredibly friendly, helpful and very responsive. Repair requests are immediately responded to and having the 24x7 concierge services make living here so easy and very secure. Walking distance to all Strip District restaurants and shops are definitely a plus. We are huge fans.
The Cork Factory has been a wonderful home for many years; so happy I landed here!!
Love the Cork Factory! They give so much back to their residents! Amazing maintenance crew! Very happy with my decision to move here a few months ago!
I was nervous to live on my own for the first time but the Cork Factory staff and community made me feel right at home.
The Cork Factory is a truly exceptional living experience. The sense of community, the amenities, and the location make us feel so blessed every single day.
We love living here! It’s spacious and quiet with weekly events and the pool with the river view is absolutely amazing. We just renewed our lease for another year.
Almost 4 years living here and it really is the best community in The Strip. Only reason we would ever leave is to own a house down the road but other than that we find there is no better spot.
Great place to live. Concierge to help out. River to have a cocktail next to. Walk to almost anything we need. Building is great and the staff is better!
Great place to live with unique, one of a kind apartments! The location is easy walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants. All around a great place to live.
I've been very favorably impressed with the Cork Factory during my first three months. The entire staff has been consistently attentive, helpful and approachable. Starting from on top with the general manager, the Cork Factory emphasizes collegiality and neighborliness with weekly events, making for a very comfortable and livable environment. The layout of the building is expansive and informal as are the outside grounds. My unit is comfortable and provides me with a nice outdoor view through its two spacious windows. Th location is ideal. Everything in terms of restaurants, bars, and shopping is within easy walking distance, as is the Pirates' baseball park and a nature-laden pathway that hugs the Allegheny River.
2 weeks in & so far love living at Lot 24. The space is clean and all the amenities are as expected. The pool is great perk, especially with the water fountains that run throughout the day
Really happy with the move in process at the Cork. They managed to pull my lease together in two days before I was coming to Pittsburgh. The community and events that they host are also a major plus.
The Cork Factory is a great place to live. Friendly environment, diverse community, and easily accessible to so many restaurants and entertainment venues. We thoroughly enjoy living here!
An excellent place to live, with a strong sense of community and great neighbors!
I've been at TCF for a almost week now. It has been truly wonderful so far. Can't say enough about the friendly helpful staff, the cleanliness, the activities, the beautiful building. So happy I chose to live here!
