Enjoy cockroaches no matter how clean your apartment is. Pest control is non existent. I've seen roaches in the shared laundry facilities (and they're shared, despite this page saying you have an in unit laundry. You don't) so it's not a surprise they get around. Crime is also starting to become rampant. Car break ins with windows smashed, sketchy people wandering around at night, cops here more than they aren't. A horrible place to live. It's gone downhill fast with constant changes in the office, if you're lucky enough to even get to talk to them.

I recently completed a year-long lease at this apartment, and my overall experience was far from satisfactory. Throughout the 12 months, the service provided was consistently subpar. Communication with the management was challenging, and the responsiveness to maintenance requests was slow, if not entirely absent. The major letdown, however, occurred at the end of the lease. Despite leaving the apartment in a pristine condition, we were surprised to find attempts to charge us additional fees for alleged damages. The apartment was thoroughly cleaned, and it's disheartening to see a disregard for honesty in handling the security deposit, which was supposed to be refundable. I believe in transparency and fair business practices, and unfortunately, my experience with this apartment complex fell short of those expectations.

I had a decent experience from the start but quickly things deteriorated. A month after moving in the office went radio silent whenever I had an issue, wouldn't pick up the phone, and wouldn't answer any emails. I eventually just gave up trying to contact them for anything because they clearly did not care. Fast forward to hurricane Ian, the complex refused to do any work to prepare the property for the hurricane. Trees were left un-trimmed, gutters were left filled, no sandbags or boards for windows were provided, and the pond was at a very high level. During the storm, my apartment suffered several leaks surrounding my window and door. The leaks were so bad to the point if I tried to sleep I woke up to a huge pool of water encroaching on my bed. I reported the leak immediately, their maintenance team said the leak was no big deal and it would take a day or two to fix. Later that week after the storm, the leak was deemed so bad they had to take out my entire wall, which when removed unveiled support beams covered in mold. I showed this mold to the property manager Kim, she agreed it looked like mold but said my unit was still livable. Keep in mind I have permanent lung damage from a previous COVID infection, and this mold exposure was already making me sick. Kim requested I get a doctor's note to prove this, and I did. The complex still refused to refund me for the month of October even though I could not live in my unit. Then the complex proceeded to offer me a unit that also had mold and damage from the hurricane, and the second unit they offered me they just refused to process the paperwork for. So they gave me no choice but to end my lease and seek legal action for my October rent. Do not move here it will be the biggest mistake of your life.

It is a good place to live, everything is close to supermarkets, fast food, etc., it is quiet, safe place and the staff is friendly and professionals
Staff and management are very professional and deliver excellent service. However, insulation is terrible and Neighboors are disrespectful.
Ive lived here for going on two years and now my daughter and I love our home! With the help of the amazing management team they were able to easily and quite quickly move us into one of the townhomes on property which has been an absolute dream!! I love the layout, I love how cozy it feels, and best of all I know if I have any issues, Ill always get help from Marlene, Gladys or any of the ladies working in the office!! They have made my stay here very welcoming.
Love to walk my dog in the evening and feel safe and can have long walks because of the size of the community. The laundry amenities are cheap and gets all items dried. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. Absolutely love the alarm system. The parking lot is very close to the apartment and filled with lots of trees. Maintenance and the front office staff are helpful and pleasant.

Fast and professional service
The complex is very nice and comfortable with all the security features installed make you feel more secured and worry free when you are indoors and oof to sleep. The only down fall I see is that every unit should have a washer and dryer installed for the price we paid. Price is too high for not having a washer and dryer in the unit.
Cornerstone apartment is a great place to reside. Its a quiet, clean and safe area. Its near located near downtown and the International Airport. And most importantly the maintenance is amazing. They always respond quickly to requests. They are always on time. And they are always friendly yet professional.
Waking up to the Lake view is my favorite part of the day
Overall I am pleased with the property, but there is a lot of trash in the stairwells and the fountain only worked for 4 days. Being stuck at home for months, it would be nice to have a water feature working to ease the mind.

They have excellent maintenance service. They respond your request super fast. Sergio maintenance employee is super nice and educated. Like the office staff too. I been here for 2 yrs and renovate for another one.
Gladys ensured that the application process went smoothly and helped me at every step. She has also been great at keeping up with the minor problems the apartment had and they have been fixed.
Living at this complex has been a breeze. From being updated constantly with things going on, to the 411 from the complex and the area. Rachel is the community manager and always makes sure to keep every one informed. Would definitely recommend moving here if you’re considering! You’ll never have to worry about being left in the dark.
This apartment complex are nothing but scammer that try to find a way to charge you fees. The apartment is not in now way close to be worth the price they are. They will charge you a fee 1100 for giving a notice less than 60 days but more that 50 days. I work overnight and they will not even try to work with you or understand the situation. It's a shame that a company can take advantage of people like this. I will not rent from this company again
This is not a place you want to live unless you like paying for ridiculous fees and an extra month of rent even if you put your 60-day notice in! The staff is terrible and only helps when it helps themselves. Stay far away! For the same or less you find a much better place. Again... Stay away from The Cornerstone!
We start an application with this people and the girl that help us was so nice, she make us feel confiable to make it and move to the community. But the day that we are suppose to receive the keys I arrive at 4:30 to sign and give to them the money. They have and option to sign online the lease but when I get there they tell me that doesn't work. My partner was driving from Tampa to Orlando and he wasn't unable to sign online cuz the problems but they tells us that when I get there. So they doesn't want to stay past 5 because the office close and they have things to do. They requires the 2 signs to move in so since he never make it was in his way. They just leave us with out place to spend the night and they don't care. When wasn't our fault the customer service it's worst. I can't believe how they take they stuff close the doors and leave us on the streets . Until Monday .
We have had nothing but problems at this complex. We moved in right before BH Management bought the complex, the previous owners were great but the current management is horrendous. They constantly try to charge various fees (thank goodness we hold on to all our receipts!) Only about 20% of the laundry machines work and the laundry rooms are disgusting and never maintained. The mailroom was broken into a week ago and they didnt let the residents know which resulted in us not having mail for a week (and counting). We only found out after calling USPS and they we talked to the office and they said its not their responsibility to tell us, the post office should have done that. The room is still not fixed so we still dont have mail and don't know when we'll get it. The "new gym" has been a work in progress for over a year. Rent went up but they forgot to add all the fees on so it was more than the initial contracted increase. The neighbors are loud, the maintenance takes months, and the office staff, manager included, are just rude. Just save yourselves the stress, rent somewhere else.
I would rate the property better if it wasn't for the poor management. Office manager only cares about the money and not the residents. Does not even attempt to show that he cares.
My husband and I have been living here a little over a year. When we first rented is was under Robbins Property Associates (which are great by the way) they recently upgraded the apartments and got rid of the carpets in the living room area with wood looking vinyl (which was good for my asthmatic husband). It is great location as its just near every possible exist and great options to shopping, supermarkets and the airport. When we signed in the rent was 779 for the one bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Since BH Management took over my rent went up to 819... that 40 dollars more for the following reasons: - took out the tennis court to construct a "walking path" (which means just new paint and white stripes to guide the circle path) - closed the gym and open just in the office hours 9a - 6p (which means delivery guys and unemployed are the only ones that can use it) - painted the already painted apartments - redo the front entry of the site (waste of money really!) - Summary: No basketball court, no gym use and no tennis court. They do have a racquet ball court that nobody uses! (wuju!) About a 3 weeks ago the sent us letters: - we needed to take out of the porch our grill (been there since the first time we moved) - Result: even when the law only says we can't use the grill at a certain distance from the apartment it doesn't say we can have it on the porch. Gave a complaint about, still waiting for a response over a week. - we owed 11 dollars more - Result: We showed the contract where they never talked about more money so they waive it off (without and apology and even saw it was inside our office file) Most of the residents have move out and a lot of the apartments are unrented. We are quickly looking every where to move and find a place we can rest at ease and have peace of mind about not getting another letter in our door asking for something else. Move at your own risk guys! As for us... we are out!
The first day I walked in the apartment there was a lot on roaches. I told the office and they said they would take care of it and never did. There is wholes in the floor under the carpet. The A/C breaks all the time. We had mold in the guess bathroom it took them a month to come and look at it and they just painted over it. I can go on with other problems that this place has but then I would be writing this all day.
The apartments are clean for the most part and maintenance is fairly quick to respond to any problems you may have. Neighbors can be loud on occasion, especially if you live near one of the pools. There are several laundry rooms on-site, but the machines are often broken or malfunctioning. It is rather pet friendly, and has several dog parks to walk your dog. Not a bad place to live if you don't mind noisy neighbors or plumbing problems that can sometimes arise.
my husband and i recently moved here. its been about 2 months and for the most part it has been very enjoyable. The grounds here are well kept and the pool house is great (lots of kids though cant wait for them to go back to school so i can enjoy the pool again.) the set up is very nice inside and i love our balcony. it is pretty loud here the road is very busy but its close to a lot of groceries and restaurants. I say its very nice here and would recommend it.
