The staff has been very welcoming, and my unit feels modern, with updated appliances and plenty of storage. I have only been here a few weeks and so far it has been good, I was hoping the fitness center would be more giving, and of course the parking isnt great for having guests you have to pay for a spot or walk a long way.

The apartments located in a convenient location and are not bad in size. The maintenance is fairly quick with jobs but some of the leasing office staff are very condescending.

Great community! Quiet, prime location, amenities are great! Any issues are always taken care of immediately, maintenance is onsite. Pools sparkle. grounds are beautiful and well kept Plenty of parking for guests And extra cool partnerships: i.e. build ur credit renting, activities like pumpkin painting and taco, Tuesday, rewards program, parking app to reserve guest pkg in advance if needed, and they have both trash and recycling bins, laundry app so u can leave ur laundry and know when its read with no laundry card needed.. the list goes on!

I was not expecting the apartments to be as spacious as they are, with an adequate amount of closet space. I was concerned about the property HVAC equipment being chillers, but with the double pane windows, the apartment is pretty well insulated. And a huge plus is the gas stove. Very excited to have to learn and cook on those, again. The location is very quiet. Sometimes, one forget that there are neighbors. Overall, I feel The Cortesian meets all type of people: from college students, single, a couple or a small family, and even seniors can make a comfortable home at The Cortesian!

The location of these apartments is great, the layout is wonderful and very spacious. The complex has nice pools and the grounds are well kept. Unfortunately, sometimes the leasing office takes a while to get back to you and the online portal for service requests is not efficient or clear as to when the problem will be fixed. The AC works great! The cleanliness of our apartment on move in was disappointing. I had to spend hours scrubbing my walls and baseboards because of the staining/water damage from the AC. There were holes in the walls that had been filled but not repainted to match. We have a fully renovated unit, the carpet is great and the kitchen is nice and modern but in general the finishing work is just not great. The light in the kitchen was not functional upon move in and there has been no communication about the service request I put in for that.

I liked this apartment because of the townhomes that were available. Things have been OK here, lots of maintenance work that needs to be done to our apartment atleast monthly. We probably will not be resigning our lease.

Brie Let the paramedics in to my apartment because my sugar had dropped and I had passed out and she let my sister in to watch my dog because she was on my emergency list And they sent an email to let my friend in to also watch my dog. I want to commend her excellent employee.

Can be hard to get through on the phones which can be frustrating. Otherwise there so far I haven't had too many issues. I am very new to the community so I don't have a lot of experience to comment on.

Everything in the unit is poor quality. Cabinets especially. The kitchen drawers are barely useful. The A/C thermostat never works properly (second one). The showers are painted and the paint is all cracking and falling off. The floors are coming up in the kitchen. The pant on the ceiling in the bathroom is coming off. The gas range works like 85% of the time. When we moved in there was glue all over the floor from them replacing the flooring before we moved in. 2 years later it still seeps up from under the flooring leaving black glue all over the floors. The AC filter can’t be changed without putting in a work order because it’s screwed in to the slot where it goes. They said they were going to fix it so we could replace it ourselves a year ago. Electrical issues throughout. Lights flicker when you turn on a fan etc. Resident portal for payments and to get your invoice for your rent goes down every 3 months from the 25th to the 2nd right when rent is due conveniently. Billing is odd

Excellent place to live. It is a quiet & safe place, it is close to Old Town and has easy access to all freeways. It is very well located. You can walk to all the places to dine, have a drink, dance, shop or just go to the supermarket. I love live here.

The units are great! Neighbors are very quiet, however there is an overall lack of ownership and accountability by the staff here. Once had someone enter my apartment without approval or any notice, all issues must be reported via phone and even when you do email they refuse to answer via written response which doesn’t leave a paper trail, lack of follow through or care when reporting unsafe and unsanitary conditions outdoors in common spaces with glass shattered all over the driving areas, dog waste everywhere throughout the property. Laundry rooms are always down. There is also a unit on the property that experienced a fire and that makes me very nervous to see no progress towards repair. I really love the quality of the units, the location etc but the staff/conditions of the property have ensued that I won’t be renewing. For the price of the units residents deserve better

Excellent location. Upgrades to the unit were nice! Clean pool, 24 hour access to the gym, access to a gas grill, and Amazon lockers.

I have been a resident here for 6 years while I was in school. It started out nice. But this place has gone down hill. It is a certified dump. There are apartments with 8-10 people living in a one bedroom. There is no luxury here. We stay because it is cheap for old town. They never fix anything! The maintence staff is nice. It is not their fault. After several requests I finally had to go buy my own lights for the bathroom vanity and they are not cheap. There is no security. My down stairs neighbor moved out because they were broken into. The fitness center has broken equipment and someone stole the weights! Who steals 10 lb weights? Do not let the pictures fool you. People smoke and leave trash everywhere. Even though it is so called non smoking it reeks of pot. If you walk around you see window screens hanging off windows because they do not fix anything. They need a security gate as people drive by with loud music and hang out in the parking lots. Our stairs have been broken over a year and they are very unsafe. Run, do not walk away.

The maintance team does a great job doing work orders as well as explaining what the issue you are having. Thank you guys. And the office staff inside the office does a great job as well. I can see plenty of improvement in the whole Cortesian staff! Thank you
