Located directly north of Downtown Seattle, the neighborhood of Pinehurst sits just nine miles from the heart of the city. This walkable locale is receiving attention as more areas outside of downtown see development and revitalization. There are apartment communities both new and old, some with amazing rooftop views, all within walking distance of the restaurants and coffee shops along 15th Avenue. Jackson Park Golf Course serves as a big attraction for golfers and non-golfers alike, with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Neighboring communities also house more well-maintained green spaces for residents to enjoy. Proximity to Interstate 5 makes commuting into Downtown Seattle easy, or residents can take one of the bus lines into the city.

Property Ratings at The Court at Northgate
I've lived here for a little over a year now and the management is incredible and friendly and accommodating to ALL of my needs. Whenever something needs fixing it usually gets done the same day! The maintenance is impeccable and the pool and outdoor grill are such a nice luxury. My neighbors are respectful and I've never had a single issue with finances or contracts/leasing. They even leave out fresh baked cookies every now and then for the tenants! It's in an ideal location across the street from groceries and the mall and food and entertainment within walking distance. Couldn't be happierr.
My apartment is in a perfect location. It's right across from the first mall in America, the Northgate Mall in North Seattle. Along the side between the mall and the apartment building is a large park with a skateboard area, basketball court, grass, outdoor exercise fitness area, and plenty of park benches and chairs. Right across from my apartment is Target, Best Buy, and fast food. A block away is 24 Hour Fitness SuperSport. Two blocks away is the library. Three blocks away is QFC, a large grocery store, and Walgreens. I don't need a car where I live because I could walk to everything or take a bus. My apartment building has a huge parking lot that wraps around the building giving everyone plenty of space to park free. Next to my apartment building which is located between 3rd Avenue and 5th Avenue on 5th Avenue is the bus stop where bus 41 stops. Bus 41 is a double bus and there are anywhere between 4 and 10 buses an hour, depending on need. It only takes 15 minutes to get downtown on bus 41. I can take the bus as a senior for $1.00, get off at University Station, ride the elevator up into Benaroya Hall and go to the symphony or walk a block and go to a Broadway play or the Seattle Art Museum or walk to the Aquarium on the waterfront, or stop at Pike Place Market. If I want to go to SeaTac and catch a plane, I change to the train at university station and continue all the way to SeaTac. Seattle has everything. Perfect weather. All the arts and cultural activities that is found in a major world city. Seattle is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and people from around the world come to live and work in peace together. I live in a neighborhood in Northgate where 1/3 of the population are new immigrants from around the world and for many English is their second language. My apartment building has a large pool in the center with grass, tables and chairs, and a space for barbeques. With a secure entrance, I feel safe. My apartment is spacious and open with high ceilings. It is very quiet on the third floor. During the winter months, I rarely have to turn on the heat. My kitchen has plenty of space. My front room is huge with a large open area and sliding glass doors that open onto a large balcony with room to grow plants, and l have room for lounge chairs. I have two bedrooms that are spacious. The master bedroom has a spacious walk-in closet and storage. My 1 ½ bathroom has everything I need.
This is the first apartment that I've been in as an independent, instead of living with family. It's close to not only the shopping mall, but the transit center, which means getting downtown for work or otherwise is easy. There's plenty of restaurants nearby as well! There's a swimming pool and a public bbq grill for those clear summer days, and the landlady is incredibly nice! They're even remodeling the entire place to make it even better! I enjoy living here and my only non-issue issue is the price of the wash machine and dryer to use here, since there's a public laundromat on each floor. It's definitely a great place to stay for someone like me without a car since it's so easy to get to a lot of places.
Management has proven friendly and reliable during my two years here, always greeting with a smile and keeping a steady supply of fresh baked cookies in the office. Maintenance issues are quickly addressed by the on-site handyman and management is proactive about following-up to make sure things are still running smoothly after a problem has been addressed. The Court features a heated outdoor pool and community BBQ. Hubbard Homestead park is immediately adjacent to the apartment complex and has a jogging track, basketball court, outdoor gym area and skate park. It's wonderful having so many outdoor activities nearby! The Court is conveniently located less than 2 minutes from I-5 and two blocks from Northgate mall. For those who prefer community transit the Northgate Transit center is less than a 5 min bus ride away and from there you will have easy access to routes that can take you to anywhere in the Seattle metro area, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Sea-Tac, and beyond. I've never enjoyed living at an apartment complex as much as I have here at The Court and I hope to remain here for years to come!
