Immediately outside of Washington, DC’s southeast boundary between Suitland Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland’s location is ideal for anyone who works around the Capital area. Commuters on a budget will appreciate the fact that apartments and houses rent for much less in Suitland than in DC. Compared to other DC-area communities, Suitland offers some of the most convenient access routes to both Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and the Washington Navy Yard, making it a very appealing option for military service members.

Property Ratings at The Courts of Camp Springs
I loved it there from the time I was there, everything to me was wonderful and I couldn’t complain about anything. Excellent place to be, I just stay to myself and stayed in the house and enjoy my living space.
I have to be out my apartment by March 31. I applied here on the March 3. Jasmine told me I was approved and was waiting for her manager for the papers.(not sure what that means) I waited and waited... I called to touch base she was so annoyed. I stressed that I needed to move by the end of the month. She told me no worries I already have a apartment on hold for you. She never called me back I was ALWAYS initiating the calls she told me hold on hung up. The manager never called me back. Now the offices are closed because of the Coronavirus and me and my 2 year old are basically going to be put on the street. I can’t stay at my current apartment because someone is moving in here. Thanks a lot. I never been so stressed out in my life. To do my family like this is so sad and shows your true colors. I would never give my money to a place that could clearly careless. They was just waiting for the closure so they could avoid helping families. Karma is real. U definitely blocked your blessing
Its a nice place.. I feel safe and its affordable and the staff is nice. The only thing I dont like is the laundry room changed from coin to card without any notice or directions and also they find so many reasons for maintenance to enter your personal space like dont nobody want someone to keep entering their home. Also when you are late on rent they just started to put a colorful notice on your door open for your neighbors to see which is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. There are better ways to relay your message in a secure manner. I would recommend this place to others. Just wish they tightened up on the professionalism especially with the personal notices being plastered on the door.

Thank you for your honest feedback and good suggestions! Thanks for being a resident.
I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR THREE YEARS AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! I STAY BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO FIND AFFORDABLE HOUSING. THE RENTAL OFFICE STAFF IS LESS THAN AVERAGE. THEY DON'T SUBMIT WORK ORDERS FOR MAINTENANCE....BUT NO WORRIES MAINTENANCE ONLY COMES IF ITS A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION OR AN EMERGENCY. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO PLAY. THE PLAYGROUNDS ARE HORRIBLE AND THEY CLOSE THEM UP EARLY EVEN IN THE SUMMERTIME. BUT IF YOU ARE HOME IN TIME TO TAKE THE KIDS, THEY HAVE TO PLAY AROUND A BUNCH OF TEENS CURSING AND SMOKING WEED. THEY ONLY GIVE POOL PASSES OUT FOR A WEEK AND YOU HAVE TO GET TO THE OFFICE BEFORE 5 MON-FRI.....AS IF PEOPLE DON'T HAVE JOBS!! THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A COMMUNITY CENTER WITH COMPUTERS...I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET. EVERY BLUE MOON THEY HOST AN EVENT BUT PUT THE SIGNS UP THE DAY BEFORE. THEY HAVE A COMMUNITY ROOM, BUT YOU CANT USE IT. IT IS A TAX CREDIT PROPERTY. THEY GET MONEY AND GRANTS FROM THE GOVERNMENT TO HAS PROGRAMS AVAILABLE ON THE PROPERTY BUT THEY DON'T ALLOW THE TENANTS TO UTILIZE THE PROGRAMS (IE COMMUNITY ROOM) THEY HAVE THE CORNER KIDS THAT HANG OUT ALL NIGHT LONG AT THE FRONT GATE.....BUT THERE IS A BACK GATE....OH WAIT THEY CLOSE IT....JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO. CARS ARE BROKEN INTO ON A REGULAR BASIS. THERE WAS A SHOOTOUT. SO LETS GET TO THE APARTMENT. THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE ARE A JOKE APARTMENTS.COM STAGED THE APARTMENT. THE STOVES DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT THEY ARE THE STANDARD BIG WHITE HOOD APARTMENT STOVE. THE BATHROOMS HAVE THE WORST AIR FLOW EVERYTHING GETS RUST AND MOLD. MICE CAN BE A PROBLEM. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ROACHES...BUT A NEIGHBOR COMPLAINS THAT SHE HAS THEM AND THEY ARE COMING THROUGH THE WALL SOCKETS. THE APARTMENT SIZE IS GREAT. JUST REALLY BAD UPKEEP. IT'S A HOME! AND THAT'S ALL!
Apts are very suitable for decent living. Rent is within reason. Complex is clean and maintained. Management is in desperate need for training on customer service. All provisions should be made to tenants without excuses and juvenile rudeness. The hiring team should be fired from their positions.
unprofessional you really get what you pay for.. and guys hang out on the block.
Spacious room for a single family. Love the stairs
Well i must say the apartments are a good size but rental office doesn't care alot of litter & just over priced. Also alot of loitering & smoking.
I currently live in suitland, Md in apartments called The Courts of Camp Springs. The apartments are amazing and makes you feel like your at home. I am 21 years old and work in the govt and it's very hard. I have to after this lease move out on my own and it's hard to manage but I'm pressing ! I have a car note , car insurance, rent, phone bill, gas , electric, and only have 20 dollars left everytime to get to work for the next two weeks. I am also in school for information technology and having to weigh all this stresses me out but I making it. I really need help and want to be considered for the free rent for life or even a year ! I I pray that you see this and read it. I really need help! Please and thank you in advance.
This community is a nice place for families to live. The grounds are well kept and the staff is courteous.
We chose this location because it was near an Airforce base. My boyfriend is ex military so we get access to the base. It's very clean and the staff is really nice and polite. There is a lot of loitering around the property even though signs are posted everywhere. That's the only issue I have. I enjoy the apartment and they are usually quick to fix an issue I have. The previous tenants I believe had animals so I needed the carpet cleaned again. They did this pretty quickly. I might need several treatments to get the job done. No one has since come. I might have to seek outside help.
I love my apartment. Its lower level. Its quite. And the price is aight. I can walk out my front door, cross the street and catch Metro. Cool. Shopping is less than a 20 min walk. Restaurants, are close and as for delivery as well. I plan on growing old here, in my spot.
Very nice community...I was very impressed!! Nice grounds, apartment was a nice size...overall A+
