Property Ratings at Courtyard Apartments
My daughter absolutely loves it and i love it for her! She is very happy. The maintenence team is very helpful and fixes things in a timely manner!
This is my very first apartment and I regret being in a rush to move out. They don’t let you do a walk through of your apartment before you even sign your lease (first red flag), did my walk through after and so many things were messed up. Doors won’t close all the way, windows are missing screens, holes in the wall, ROACHES were everywhere. They didn’t seem to have much sense of urgency when it came to any of these problems. My AC has been out for over a month, they give you no heads up when maintenance is coming. Do yourself a favor and do not live here.
Rude management, roaches, parking lot floods, cops are there every other day. It's just a disaster.
NO management, this place dont fix anything and their very rude . And the put charges on things that dont even exist.
I am having to take this place to court to get my deposit back. They will not take or return my phone calls. Tell me to call back in 2 WEEKS to talk to the property manager, because she is BUSY. They still show me as active and living there, even though I have been on the phone with them weekly since I moved out trying to get my deposit back. Now they are saying I owe over 2000 in back rent! I moved out June 12. The management is horrible, and I would NOT recommend!
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Our rent is never the same each month. If you like to live with black mold and roaches this is the place for you. HORRIBLE office management as well. The office employees are completely unprofessional and rude. Also good luck on maintenance trying to fix anything.
This place is the worst. Do not Move in here. They add so many fees to your rent that's it way more than they say. Most of the buildings air doesn't work and the dishwashers don't work. It's over run with roaches so bad that they have exterminators there every week or more for some buildings but it doesn't get rid of them. The staff is rude, maintenance never fixes anything. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself and your family a favor and look anywhere else but here!
This place is disgusting and over priced. They don't fix anything ever and it is over run with bugs it's awful. Also the floors are falling in and no one cares. What ever you do don't move in here. They will bleed you dry any way they can.

Hi Krystal. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We take your feedback very seriously and try our best to meet or exceed our residents’ expectations at The Courtyard Apartments. We sincerely apologize and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you in person. Please contact our office at your earliest convenience.
I've had roaches from the day I moved in and 5 months later they're still here. Also, when I moved in I found dead bugs in my refrigerator and the carpet was in appalling condition. The paint job was terrible and it took them three weeks to fix the leaking faucet in the bathroom and kitchen. I will be moving out when my lease is up in December.

Hi Chad. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We take your feedback very seriously and try our best to meet or exceed our residents’ expectations at The Courtyard Apartments. The staff and almost all the maintenance we're incredably rude and unhelpfull. We had several problems that took weeks for them to look at and never realy fixed. They accused us constantly of throwing cigarettes on the ground, saying that it wasn't a problem untill we moved in, because aparently the chain smoker next door didn't start till we showed up. The ac and heater almost never worked. It's just a terrible place that is still trying to screw me over and I moved out last year.
It started by our AC constantly going out during the summer where our apartment would get over 80 degrees and we were never offered a fan or anything, then they finally 'fixed' it and it would go out again and again. Now our AC works, but is still broken and costs us because it is constantly running. It willbe 77 degrees in our apartment even if we have it set on 73. Then under our sink we have a huge hole in the wall where we could physically reach into our neighbors apartment, they covered that up with a thin piece of ply wood or dry wall or something where it could easily break and isn't even completely covered. We have constantly had to call the cops or the office about neighbors smoking weed on our steps and have even been asked if we knew where this teenager was who sells this guy weed. Then, our cars have been brokeninto numerous times whereour neighbors have even complained. Then, today was the final straw. We have a young child inour apartment who gets into our blinds and today we got a letter saying we had to replace our blinds for the second time this year due to them being kind of messed up. Now, I wouldn't have a problem if my neighbors had to as well as there are tons of apartments with worse blinds than us, so when I called the office to inquire aboutwhy we were singled out, Teresa hung up on me, then ignored my calls, and then when I went to discuss it in person she never apologized and then went on to call me a liar saying my daughter couldn't have messed up the blinds because of her being a 'baby' eventhough my child is walking, climbing, and well over two feet tall, and then she called me 'irresponsible' for letting my child mess up the blinds eventhough I obviously don't let her, she gets told no, but like most children, tries again and succeeds as the blinds were cheap and easy to break. I have never been as disgusted in a person as I was today, to hang up and to name call a tenant is sickening and I have everything as proof on my phone and will be talking to someone about this. I have emailed capreit and will be talking to someone about breaking my lease or doing something as this is just unacceptable. I had two friends tell me not to move in Courtyard but ignored them and took my chances, now I wish I had listened or looked at reviews. Our blinds are a huge issue, but there's people that have over 4 people living in a one bedroom, a brokenwindow in one apartment, kids smoking weed outside, people breaking into cars, fights, etc etc.
The apartment we got was nice at first but the longer we stayed the more problems came up. The apartments themselves are always having ac problems. I like the location but the staff and apartment itself aren't that great.
If you have a maintenance problem they will help you immediately. They are nice and caring. Beautiful renovations are being applied to each apartment. Living here is nice and comfortable.
I love the location of my apartment, I can get to so many places without traveling a long distance. The office staff had me from the beginning, their charming demeanor and knowledge of the property was impressing. I would definitely recommend Courtyard Square!
The staff was nice and upfront. They got back to me in a timely manner on my application. Explain to me the process and when it will be ready, Shannon let me know how the model would compare to the actual apartment that I would be moving into. It made me feel as though I am making the right choice
