Property Ratings at Cove at Center Point
While I enjoy the location of my apartment in proximity to MTSU, I have a major pest control problem that has still not been addressed since I moved in in January. My apartment has been sprayed numerous times, yet I continue to find adult, juvenile, and nymph cockroaches. They are in my kitchen on countertops, in my pantry amongst dishes, and all over my bathroom. I occasionally find them near my bedroom and on my living room walls. It is absolutely disgusting and I am very disappointed in the services offered by pest control.
My time as a tenant at the cove has been a very enjoyable one. The cove is a great place for college students as well as retirees. The new mgmt team is doing well.
Laundry room is dirty and only 1/4 work and they claim there working on it but still nothing same issues for years , they keep raising the prices on rent and fees and prices on laundry , they open the pool only for 4 weeks then closed back up , it swamp green then they used a bunch of chlorine to clean it , never drained the water for past 3 years at least
Laundry room is are only amenities and it doesn’t work properly half the washer work and out of 12 dryers only 3 work and they raised the prices also to use them. The rent and fees are raised and ridiculous
New management is very friendly and professional. If we ever have a problem it gets fixed right away. New improvements makes the property look better
Management is much more responsive these days. Rent is much more streamlined with Conservice. Maintenance can be slow, but that is not their fault; rather, I have heard that the system gets backed up. Also, there is a slight pest issue that I have to manage myself, but it comes and goes in waves. Overall, a good budget apartment.
So far I’ve been here for about 4 months and i’ve been very comfortable. I think my neighbors are nice and respectful and I haven’t had any issues with maintenance. I’m happy to have a place here.
Old buildings, some moisture retention issues which causes mold that is almost impossible to get to go away. Friendly staff in the offices though and neighbors are pretty good
The cove is perfect for anyone wanting quick access to MTSU and downtown Mboro, both within minutes. Plus the cove apts are very quiet and the maintenance crew does a great job at maintaining the property
The people are very nice. The apartment people are hard to get a hold of. They are nice people, just need to answer the phone. Otherwise, great experience.
I love the area.its a great neighborhood. The pool is very nice to relax in after a long day. Murfreesboro is a great small town. Everyone is very welcoming here.
The office staff is very professional and and always willing to assist me. Maintenance is punctual when I call. Location is prime, and rent is affordable. I've been living here for 8 years and plan to stay!!
I would definitely recommend this place to some friends. The pool is awesome. The community is pretty awesome and everything close to campus as well if I knew college students to come here.
Location is nice. The apartments are decent but old so there’s some minor issues. The area is quiet and good for students or others who don’t want a lot of noise.
It’s a okay place to stay for the price. It doesn’t really get any cheaper around here. The washing machine and dryer could definitely use an upgrade.
I’m constantly having to follow up with the office team regarding work orders. Never receive any follow up calls or emails. I don’t see how it takes over two days to just put in an air filter or leave it at my apartment. No one ever picks up the phones. Poor quality overall
Generally not noisy, customer service exceptional, I wish the pool was open. Staff is very friendly but rather busy, so your requests may be delayed if not emergency.
Pool has been unusable. The laundry room is dirty. The garbage is always overfill. It's not a bad place to live just need some updates. The rent is a little high tho
I really decided to live here because there was also a pool, but the pool isn’t open but other than that it is okay. Friendly staff, decent living conditions. I Haven’t had any issues so far.
One of the cheapest apartments in the area, for good reason. Floors are peeling, walls of some residents have caved in, spiders and roaches run rampant, maintenance is slow to answer to repair requests (sometimes never coming by at all), the laundry room ALWAYS smells (and the floors in there are always flooding for some reason), mold is rampant (little black chunks of nastiness fall out of the AC unit too, don’t know what they are), criminal activity is regular (someone was stabbed to death at this complex by a neighbor, I believe), and the community pool is in terrible quality. Spent a year and a half living here. Hopefully, you can tell I am VERY disappointed. Save yourself the time and stress, and rent elsewhere.
The bad outweighs the good here. The pool is disgusting, the laundry room smells like urine constantly and the floor is always flooded with water. There is always trash all over the yard and spilling out of the dumpsters making it embarrassing to have visitors. The maintenance workers are unprofessional, they do not fix things properly or give any effort to their job. They also smoke weed around the complex and drive around wildly on golf carts. The rent is way too high for the quality even though it is one of the cheapest places there are terrible matted carpets, peeled molding and linoleum, and mold coming from several different areas. Some residents have roach, and spider problems that they are forced to deal with themselves. This seems to be the home to several drug dealers and users as well. Until recently there were no lights in the parking lots making a trip to the dumpster or mailbox an interesting experience. They also send several unprofessional text to the residents in hopes to bring order to a complex that is way past salvation. With all that in mind I will say that my neighbors are good people who share the same concerns and experiences but have witnessed no change. This will be my last few months at this complex. I know the price is tempting but just don’t live here.
My daughter paid the $150 admin fee plus the $250 deposit. The management does not inform the prospective tenants everything they should know. They didn't tell her the contract needed to be signed by a certain date, so she was supposed to sign today. She actually got the place she was looking at before, so she didn't need the apartment. Now they say she doesn't get her $250 back because it is past the cut off time, but she hadn't signed the contract. They are a poor excuse for dealing with people. They need a class in policy and procedures and customer service.
Management does not take care of their property. The floors are falling in, and they do not regularly spray for bugs. The people in the office are rude.
The manager and staff are rude and don't care if you have any issues with your apartment. They are only concerned with getting the most money from you they can for an old and run down complex. The neighborhood is dangerous and they will move anyone in so get ready for some terrible neighbors. The police are always in the parking lot and a lady here was recently stabbed to death from a home invasion. Seriously, look up the article. Maintenance is unqualified and unresponsive. This place is overpriced for what you have to deal with. I would highly recommend not living here.
The rent is low but it is not worth at all! there is no safety at all! everyone with any backgrounds can rent an apartment here and this makes this place a good place for drug dealers and other criminals. My neighbor just killed my another neighbor! people living in these apartments listen to loud music 24/7 even at 2 or 3 a.m and if you complain to the manager they just say call the police because no one has the courage to talk with criminals who are high most of the time. I would recommend other places. that`s true that you pay more money but you can enjoy being at your home!
