Springfield is rich with American history -- one of the final American Revolution battles, the Battle of Springfield, was fought here in 1780. The town is still home to historical landmarks from the Revolution, including the Cannon Ball House (built in 1741), which is now a museum. After British troops burned the First Presbyterian Church, it was rebuilt -- but much of the original structure remains. Today, Springfield is one of the state's most popular townships -- it was even named one of the "Best Places to Live" by Newsweek Magazine in 2010. Springfield is also home to one of the nation's top-ranking high schools, Dayton High School.
The Baltusrol Golf Club, founded in 1895, has hosted several major golf tournaments, including the 2016 PGA Championship. The private golf course is ranked as one of the best in the country by Golfweek Magazine. Springfield is home to several beautiful parks, including Lenape Park, Hidden Valley Park, and Rahway River Parkway.

Property Ratings at The Cove at Springfield
Lived here for a year. The property manager is extremely responsive and personable. She made finding my apartment remotely so easy... The complex is safe, quiet, pet pet-friendly, and the fitness center is a nice bonus. There are individual HVACs in each room, elevators for each building, and the balconies are very large. I had to move for work, but would have stayed here longer otherwise.
We lived in the Cove for about 2 years starting in Jan 2018. We really enjoyed living here and the only reason we will move out is out of state job relocation. Dorothy is a wonderful person and a fantastic property manager. She was very prompt with maintenance requests and dealing with conflict among neighbors. The maintenance staff are also very nice folks and professional. It is a quiet community with nice amenities. We had a nice view of mountains and also I really liked watching the cars driving by on I-78. There is good sound insulation so noise from high-way is not an issue. The neighbors are very nice and it is a pet friendly community. Each building has an intercom, and the security is very good. The elevator really helped us as we frequently used stroller for our kids. Overall, if anyone is looking for upscale apartment living, I would highly recommend the Cove.
I lived here for one year. The only reason I moved was because of work relocation. This is a great community. All of the leasing folks and maintenance folks were always so helpful and really nice. The apartments are beautiful and, although it is located close to the highway, the windows are really good sound proofed. I had a little dog in the apartment and he did some scratching at the front door frame. I tried to sand and paint it before I left but I'm not a carpenter. They only took $100 out of my security which was a total relief to me. Another point, I did make a complaint about people that don't clean up after their pets and I made a recommendation for them to install little pet stations with waste bags, and they installed them the next week! Amazing people. I highly recommend this community!
I lived at The Cove for a little over a year and had a good experience. Although its slightly pricey, the area and location, as well as size plus features is pretty much in line with what youd expect to pay. The Leasing Manager is nice and takes the time to discuss issues with you. Maintainence gets taken care of efficiantly within a decent time period. Good, overall experience. Now, living at a new complex, I see that a good property staff is not all that common.
Newly built, expensive, Laundry inside apartments, exercise room, though not many will be using it. If you have money, yeah, why not. But not a good value.
I set up an appointment to see The Cove apartments. When I got there I was slightly confused by the intercom system to get let it, but once I got into the office, I was pleased. The woman that helped me was very bubbly and professional and offered me a drink which I appreciated on a humid day. She was also very informative and was able to answer all my questions . Since the occupancy was full and they don't show currently occupied apartments, I was given a viewing of the Rental Office which I was told was identical to most of the 2 bedrooms. The apartment was really nice..the living room/dining/kitchen area all one big space and was a very open and airy/spacious feeling which I loved. The master was very large with a great walk -in closet. The balconies are huge and the garages come with all apartments which is great at no extra cost. When I heard the price over the phone I thought it was a bit on the higher side, but after seeing the apartment the price really made sense. I set up another appointment for my fiancé to come look with me. If you are looking for an apartment that you can be proud to call your home and the convenience of getting around and being around transportation, Cove seems to be a great fit!
