Property Ratings at The Creek On Calloway
Don't live here, you will not receive a professional experience. My experience was very poor and the property is not recommended.
This place is terrible - I had roaches in my refrigerator! They wanted to spray. The fitness center is a joke - they threw all the equipment in an laundry room. It's unusable. Repairs take months. Some things that were noted on my initial walk through never got fixed the whole time I was there and then they tried to charge me for the damage! They also start nickel & diming you for miscellaneous charges. The water was always getting turned off due to broken pipes, at one point if was off 5 days our of 7. You never knew if it was safe to take a shower. Every time one of the pipes broke your bill would go up.
Apartments are on an old boiler system they don’t tell you about so often without hot water. Didn’t have electricity in kitchen for about 2 weeks called and called office before Maintenance came to fix it. Customer service is rude and apparently doesn’t care if you have what you need when went to discuss issues they were rude and condescending I had to tell them that I was asking not being rude but rent was paid on time and had questions about why no water for 4 days again and there was no reason to be rude and telling me it just was how it was and look At provided email so know when we weren’t going to have water did not fix the problem. Like the apartment but not the service or maintenance. They should care about their tenants.
This was my very first apartment and I was so eager and excited to have my own space. I was so wrong!! This apartment complex is disgusting and completely terrible. I would never recommend it to anyone ever. You pay for pest control every month but it is in fact infested with roaches. They say that they spray and come in but I highly doubt it. My apartment was infested. Also the parking is a joke. You’ll have to park a block over if anything. I lived here for a year. I gave my three month notice. A few months later I get a phone call that I still owe a balance. In my head I was thinking maybe utilities or something. No it was a balance of $700. It is completely ridiculous. Overall terrible experience with this complex. I would never return or recommend them to anyone.

The management is terrible, employees are terrible, roaches everywhere, no where to park but quick to tow visitors when the residents park in visitor spots, A/C & Heat smell terrible, Mold, and I’ve heard several gun shots over the last year living hear. I would never recommend someone to live here.

Management is a joke when it comes to getting any information or any help! Car got towed because aparantly when I park to unload my car I have to put a paper up everytime I go in and out so my car doesent get towed because they want to give you a paper to park here instead of a sticker if you have temp plates because you bought a new car. Place is already over priced for me to have cob/spider webs on all our stair railings and roaches and oh now I have to pay 300$ to get my car in the lower end area of Fort Worth 25 min from my complex . There are only 35 visitor spots here that are all taken by 6pm and if u don’t want to deal with a temp paper to have the convince to park by your appt you appt for you can park in the front of the entrance in visitors but get there before 6 pm because good luck after that when have the cars never move out of the spots ! Not worth the hassle or the money . Save your time and go else wear. And then they will comment on all their negative reviews they have been getting on how they can help when they really don’t do nothing at all.
They moved us into a unit that we only got to 'preview' 3 days before our move in date. They show you a nice unit and get you locked into a lease and then you get a roach infested, water damaged, warped wall unit that you're stuck in! I finally got moved to a smaller unit in a 'cleaner' building that they made me sign a new lease to get into. I paid movers AGAIN only to see I was in another roach filled unit AND my furniture had roaches in it now too. I had to move again (just 11 days after getting into the smaller unit) and I had to ditch all of my furniture and start over!! OH, and now they are SUING me for almost $5,000!!! They put it on my credit that I broke a lease when I had all my emails from the manager saying how sorry she was about the roaches!!! They would fall into our food, come up the walls behind the sofa while were watching TV and crawled all over anything we left out. We had to keep all our food in plastic bags. My kids couldn't have friends over because of how embarrassed they were!! Nasty!!! Horrible experience!!!! DO NOT GET TRICKED!! Ask the maintenance men, they KNOW how awful the units are!! BEWARE!!! I wish I could give zero stars!!!

I moved into the Creek on Calloway about a year and a half ago and could not be happier. My apartment is spacious and the upgrades are similar to what I had in my home before moving to Texas. The staff is friendly and always there to greet you with a smile. They work hard to make sure that the community is well taken care of clean. I also love the way that they try to bring the residents together by providing different events ie; movie night, Halloween party, dinners. I enjoy having the different amenities and upgrades they continue to make to the property. I have had very few minor issues and they have always been resolved quickly. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking to move into the area.
I absolutely love the Management Team here at Creek; I love them so much I followed them 3 times. Bedford to North Richland Hills and, now Richland Hills. Your comfort is their pleasure here also, I was really attracted to all wood flooring and other amenities. So if you're looking Stop #CREEKONCALLOWAYSLAY!
Lived here for over a year and a half. Roaches everywhere!
Don't be fooled by the "Free Move" and "Immediate Move In" signs. They have buildings full of vacant apartments because all of the buildings are infested with cockroaches. They over charge everyone for water and utilities, they charge for pest control which is obviously a joke considering the infestation. The staff is rude, aggressive and completely unprofessional. They raise the rent every time you renew the lease. They run promotions that they do not fulfill and deny their existence when confronted. They have a bad habit of ignoring maintenance requests and doing a poor job if they do decide to complete them. My entire apartment flooding because of their poor maintenance job. Don't move here. You will only end up moving out after your first lease is up and moving place to place just downright sucks.
to be honest, since they fail to let you know when you sign a lease with them, the water is an issue. The system is broken and the water temperatures fluctuate from warm, to hot to freezing, to burning, to cool, constantly. For the past two years they've been "working" on fixing it. No change. The parking is a HUGE issue too. THERE IS NEVER ANY PARKING AT NIGHT!!!!! You were suppose to have one to two spots PER UNIT, yet some how there seems to be six spots being taken for some units. The "guests", (by guests i mean the people living with the people who actually have a lease here) dont park in the visitor parking. There are countless nights where I have to park up in the front, (my apartment is in the back) and walk all the way to my apartment, and all the way back to my car when i leave. (its a good 5 minute walk). The prices are kind of ridiculous now too sense they recently installed washer and dryer connections for the one bedrooms, (stackable only) and the rent for washer and dryer doubled since then too. The constant change of management is freaking exhausting as well. As soon as you get use to one another is waking in the door. I honestly don't recommend moving here unless you're okay with noise issues not be resolved, work orders not being filled in a timely manner, (meaning over a month to get something even looked at because they "didnt" know), outrageous rent hikes, ridiculous water bills, (im one person, in a one bedroom and have to pay over 60 bucks...last lease i paid barely 30) and all that jazz.
I have lived here about 3 years. I have seen a lot of changes...but the last change has been the best so far. The new team has a concept of... family first. We were provided a full Thanksgiving dinner mingle with other residents. How nice! Thank you Creek on the Calloway team you make living here wonderful.
The office staff and maintenance crew are very friendly people who seem to generally care about their community and are very welcoming. They are always doing different community appreciation things from handing out breakfast, popcorn, peanuts, cookies, barbecue’s etc. They do different contests and events to get us all involved. The amenities this complex offers is great! They do a great job at maintaining the grounds and keeping it clean and the few minor issues I had were responded to within 15 minutes. I have friends and family in other local complexes whom are always saying there complexes don’t do anything for them. This is an awesome place to live and I want to thank the staff for all of their hard work.
This place is very deceiving. They charge way too much and they have a major roach problem. You are guaranteed to have roaches in your apartment. Not only is the rent going up but they no longer change the light fixtures and basically just care about money not the residents. I hate that i pay $720 a month for a one bedroom that is roach infested
You really Do want to live here!!! This apartment complex is a Community all of its own. The office staff is exceptionally trained and equipped to answer any/all of your questions. They ALWAYS put SAFETY FIRST. Recently, they redid the parking lot and had all of the potholes covered that were messing up residents tires and it looks amazing! I had recently voiced a concern to the management about how the sidewalk leading to ours and others residents apartments was constantly flooding anytime it rained to the point that you could not even tell that there was a sidewalk, and also, that it was leaving very slippery mud and some of us were slipping and falling. Not only did they take care of the problem, they also put in fresh grass to alleviate any future unsafe occurrences~ and it worked! Just a few days ago it rained again, and NO FLOODING!!!! NO MUDSLIDES!!!! That is just the outside. The apartments themselves are very spacious and comfortable. They have new black appliances that are VERY nice, and just a few days ago, they added dark tint to the patio doors to make the apartments look nicer and more appealing. They recently installed washer and dryer hookups and are currently in the process of adding washers and dryers to each unit. We also have a community website specifically for residents only that the media staff keeps updated on a regular basis. We have a Community Leadership Board in which you are able to rise in ranks with according to different associations that you choose to partake in to help keep the community active. There are different types of activities to blog about (including everyday life and questions a resident may have), active chat rooms, and others communications of importance through the resident website. Last week, the office staff had Resident Appreciation Week, and every day, residents were able to go to the office and receive a gift, just as a way of them expressing thanks for us choosing to live here at The Creek on Calloway Apartments. For every resident that went in to receive a thank you gift, their name was put in a drawing and at the end of the day, there was one winner that received FREE STATE FAIR TICKETS!!! The whole week! We have lived in other places, but this community is so much better! We love it here and I believe that you will also. Please just take a few minutes out of your busy day to give them a call at the number listed above and hopefully, we will see you moving in soon!!!! God bless!~Tonya.
My husband and I have been renting here for two months now and so far everything has been very nice. The office is very clear and direct about news for the complex, and keep everyone in the loop about upcoming projects. We put in our first request for maintenance for our air conditioner and they came and repaired it the next day. We've only had minor bugs, the same kind you'd find in a house or anywhere else. Small spiders mostly. Parking can be difficult during certain hours but I've never had to park very far from my building. But the new repairs to the parking lot have made driving through a lot easier. Water is instantly hot, which is really nice! Appliances are new and work well. For the small studio apartment we live in and the price we are renting at, this is a pretty good deal. We are both satisfied with our stay here so far. There is a saying that you get what you pay for, and that's definitely true here except the deal might be slightly in our favor! Which is good for us :) No complaints here.
What attracted me to these apartments was how cheap they were and the location was great. Its $1085 a month for a three bedroom apartment right across the street from the mall/movie theater/shopping center. The inside of the apartments are nice they remodeled the inside so its all hardwood floor and new all black appliances with decent sized rooms and bathrooms. They even added a new dog park which is nice so I can let my dog run around. But that's unfortunately no place is perfect. I've lived here for 4 months and had many annoying issues. The first one was a pipe or something in my bathroom was broken so it leaked into the apartment below us so I wasn't able to use my bathroom for a while until they fixed it. And now my dishwasher is broken and we have been waiting for about a week and no one has come to look at it. Lastly the manager has been very unhelpful and rude when I talk to her. We were told by two different people when our move in day but when we paid our deposit the manager told it it would actually be a couple weeks later that what we thought so we had to pay for an extra month at our old apartment because she refused to give us a refund. Then last month their system didn't receive out rent and when I talked to her she was basically like that sucks but you have to pay it again even though we didn't have the money to pay two rents. After arguing with her for a bit I had to leave to try to figure everything out. When I came back I talked to a different lady and she was very nice and helpful and was able to figure out our problem. Every other person that worked there was very kind, but the manager was hard to deal with so just be aware if you do decide to live there. So there are good and bad things but just know what you have to look forward to if you live here.
