Hamilton Township sits on the east side of Trenton, roughly forming a triangle between the Delaware River, Mercer County Park, and the turnpike. Just over an hour’s drive from both New York City and Philadelphia, those choosing Hamilton apartments have convenient access to two of America’s most distinctive cities (rail service has made Hamilton a popular home base for commuters as well).
Hamilton is also home to one of the largest municipal parks in the state (the 350 acre Veterans Park) and borders the 2,500 acre Mercer County Park. Grounds for Sculpture on the northwest edge of the township is one of the community’s major landmarks, with dozens of works of art on display across 42 acres of parkland.

Property Ratings at The Crossings at Hamilton Station
Avoid! As other reviews said, the management and leasing office are incredibly incompetent. They couldn't answer basic questions about lease renewals and terminations. Won't return phone calls or respond to emails. Tried to overcharge us by several hundred $$ upon moving out. Had to escalate through several corporate levels to get them to correct the charge. Wouldn't be surprised if they count on people not looking closely and just paying.
After leaving my apartment in very nice condition, they took a large part of my security deposit for a full paint job and other minor things. Believe everything you read!! I urge everybody to try to get your security back!!

I have lived in 8 different complexes in 4 different states. I had never had a single problem having my deposit back since i left apartments as good condition as possible. However, this complex tries to rip you off by charging extra money by claiming nonsense, so called damages to the unit. They keep the deposit and still ask more money for painting apartments walls. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I won’t recommend this place!

I would not recommend moving into these units. The complex is so poorly managed & the staff is so unprofessional. The office never communicates information to residents & consistently violates the lease. The only time we’ve gotten issues resolved was if we contacted the corporate office as well. I’m not surprised the staff turnover is so high because I would be so embarrassed to work for this complex. The units are poorly constructed & you will hear your neighbors even if they are just doing normal activities, like laundry & showering. The maintenance team is understaffed & underprepared for the issues that arise. We waited months for them to fix serious issues in our unit that led to extensive damage. Your packages all go to the concierge - which is nice in theory but you can’t pick them up unless they email you which could be days later. The hours on the clubhouse change constantly without notice too so you never know when it is open to get a package or speak with management. They charge way to much for the headache that living here has been. The only good thing is the location being close to the train & major roadways. Seriously live anywhere else if you can.
I have never dealt with such a disorganized, unresponsive management team at an apartment complex that could clearly care less about their tenants. They keep your entire security deposit no matter the condition of your apartment. Do not live here, there are plenty of other options in the area.
Best place to live at I’ve been lived there for 2 years now and I love it the appliances are the best highly recommended Babarra in the office she’s so amazing.

I just recently moved in an apartment in crossing! The area is nice and clean! Front desk concierge Maya is super sweet and nice. We enjoyed our movie night at the club house! She was very helpful!

Nice place , but NO security cameras around the community. Everybody is responsible for their own cars and bike.Just 1 or 2 cameras by the leasing office.Building doors and community entrance and exit dont have cameras as well. Me and My brother live there and my brother lost his bike. this is the 2 incident in past 3-4 years. Response from my officer Hi, After sharing your information with the detective in charge. I have been informed that the cameras installed on the offices are not even working. This is very disappointing there have been multiple thefts in the community in past 3-2 years and there aren’t any steps taken to make the community a safe place. On the other hand the cameras that are on the sales and the leasing offices are not working. I would like to know why are we paying monthly community fees and the community cannot even keep the cameras running. DISAPPOINTED!!!

My wife and I moved into The Crossings about a month ago and the experience has exceeded our expectations. The management is very responsive to any issues and the amenities here are excellent. Our leasing consultant was Francine who offered all the information we needed and made the whole process very easy. I would strongly recommend the community to friends.

We lived here for a year in one of the apartments and left largely disappointed with the place. I'm giving the place one star for two big negatives and an overall lack of redeeming qualities to balance them out: the buildings are incredibly poorly constructed, and you should fully expect to be charged damages for normal wear and tear. First, the building construction: If you have neighbors above you, you will hear ever footstep they take and every time they use the restroom. If they have friends over or children, expect the noise to be unbearable. Hearing how loud our upstairs neighbors were, we were very conscious of our own movements through the apartment. However, we still received numerous noise complaints from below. It's really just a factor of the poor building construction, which does little to isolate people going about their normal lives. Next, the security deposit: Normally you'd expect this to be used for damages. At the crossings, the deposit will be used to pay for normal apartment maintenance between tenants. We were told not to clean when moving out as "They have impossible standards and I don't want you to spend time and money cleaning, only to be charged anyway. If you forget something as simple as emptying the dryer lint trap they'll charge you the full $150 cleaning fee". Also expect a standard carpet cleaning fee and painting fee. Again, we were told that every tenant is charged this. We knew this going in after reading the previous reviews, so we didn't fight it -- but were surprised to see even more damage charges added to the list that were somehow "missed" during the inspection. Overall the concierge staff is polite and helpful, especially Mohammad. The location is perfect for commuting into NYC. The gym at the clubhouse is well maintained and conveniently open 24/7. Beyond that, don't expect to find many positives at the Crossings.
Been living here for about a year now. Great property at a great price. Apartments are conveniently located by many shops, and within walking distance. The clubhouse and gym are always spotless and the pool is top notch. The up front concierge Eva is super knowledgeable, very helpful, and always professional. It's a pleasure to see her and the wonderful staff each day. I'd definitely check this place out if you're in the market.
The property is cute& in a good location. Love the Clubhouse.. Sangeeta toured me and was incredibly helpful& thorough. Cannot compliment her enough! She was so patient in answering all of my questions& took me through multiple floor plans until I found one that suited me, all of which were pretty spacious& well taken care of. Really looking forward to moving to here in the near future!
I’ve been living here for almost a year. First off, huge kudos to the staff, especially the concierge Eva who always goes above and beyond with a smile on her face. My leasing consultant was Sangeeta and she made the process seamless. Great location and amazing amenities. Location is central to everything you may need. Highly recommendable.
I lived in this community for 18 months and my recommendation is “ STAY AWAY! ” It’s all gimmick ..with free rents. They will eventually cover up the cost when you move out. One thing that you need to know if you are moving in…. the WHOLE HOUSE IS CARPETED ….IF YOU HAVE KIDS, TRUST ME YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR EVERY THING! Nothing is stainless steel …so it looks old and dated! Since its all black appliance …please check your microwave.. it could have cracks on the doors…they made us pay for it. It had cracks from heat …but they never agreed to it. They made me change that door…. I paid $180 for door for that crappy OLD microwave… ! You can get a stainless-steel microwave for that price and it will not crack! The moving out process … maintenance person will come and review the apartment... and tell you what’s wrong in the apartment……basically getting us prepared for big bill ! They told us don’t clean carpets …don’t clean the apartment..don’t paint the walls…everything has to be as per ‘Edgewood Property Standards’ which is the only way they can cover the free rent money or else how would they profit…. They have so many empty apartments! However, we were like ok go ahead charge for carpet cleaning, house cleaning and painting because we would never match their standards. After one month, we get a bill….they decided among themselves to charge us for carpet removal. They never communicated that to us and just sent us the bill….we had to make personal visit to them and ask them what’s happening and why we getting changed for removal …when it was agreed to carpet cleaning! POOR COMMUNICATION! After several conversations, they agreed to clean the carpet first … They said that a video was taken while they were cleaning, and the stain never went away… Which was never shared with us! They went ahead and removed the carpet. So basically, I did not get a chance to even see if the stains were out or not after they completed cleaning…they just removed the carpet and said you need to pay bill. To avoid this drama, please stay away. Such a waste of my time! HORRIBLE! DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WHOLE MANAGEMENT. STAY AWAY FROM ALL EDGEWOOD PROPERTIES!!!!
Very convenient location, only a few minutes walk from the apartment to the train station. Really like the gym, theater room, swimming pool, and lounge room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will help answer any questions you may have about your move. Location looks very clean, quiet and safe. Plenty of parking spots. I would recommend this apartment to anyone.
I had gave this place a 5 start review when I moved in, now I am giving it a 1 star after moved out. Two months prior to my lease was up I received the re-new notice, I went to the leasing office and talked to a lady who worked in one of the desks behind the wall and told her that I am not going to renew but didn't find any options to select not renew in the notice, I asked her if it’s ok that I just check the month-by-month options, she said it’s fine and she’s going to take care of the paper work. Then few weeks later I stopped by the office again to make sure that everything’s ok regarding my move out. The receptionist checked her computer and said they didn’t have any record indicating that I am going to move out at the end of my lease, she asked me to fill another form, I asked if it’s still ok for me to move out as schedule and she said yes and made a note that I had a conversation with the office the month before, then after I moved out I was charged for one month’s rent due to insufficient notice penalty. Here are the total charges on my final statement: Cleaning $180, Insufficient notice Penalty $1982, Painting $425.07, Toilet Set $80. If the representative gave me the correct information regarding the penalty I have no problem stay there one more month to avoid the penalty. I cannot recommend a place that makes money by taking people’s deposit.
