From sewer backing at different times, so much that they had to put us at a Hotel…to which at first they did not want to pay…and requested I call my apartment insurance…and when the apartment insurance refused, then they paid. Kitchen sink backed up with grease from upstairs neighbor. Roaches showed from upstairs neighbor…after the first year we lived there…mice kept us up all night long…we call maintenance and no reply..just the 24 hour telephone service to take a call..but no body ever came. Spiders come in from outside and got bitten and took me out of work as I didn’t know I was allergic to them. Ants come in from hall. Heat in the winter goes off…and they take to long to respond. So be ready to get sick. Walls are super thin and you hear EVERYTHING that your neighbor does. And let’s not forget the MOLD!! Mold that caused health problems that took us to Hospital. We had to go to Hotel at our own cost while they MOLD was unprofessionally removed. They washed their hands. They DO NOT CARE, they just want their rent money. They offer us another apartment but quickly rented it before I gave them the answer. I was busy between Hospitals visit due to MOLD. The maintenance man and Debra at the office had attitude problem every time they saw me come to the office. The maintenance man were to quick to blame me for the mold in the apartment. They were to quickly to release us from our lease…So rent at your own risk and expect nothing in return…worst place to live…they promise you all but under deliver….and blame you for everything.

My boyfriend and I moved into these apartments about 2 weeks ago. We started the application around June and couldn't have been happier. Brittney from the leasing office was super helpful. We walked in without an appointment for a tour, and she was busy that day but was able to schedule us for the next day. She answered all of our questions and was very attentive with making sure we were happy with the floorplan that we selected. The application process was super easy. She answered all of my questions before move in as well. I was always able to reach her and she responded promptly. Moving in was a breeze, and we couldn't be happier with our apartment. There was a small issue with our washer after moving in, and submitting a service request was easy. I received a call the day maintenance was able to come to confirm that they could enter the apartment. Al helped fix our washer. He knew exactly what was wrong and finished fixing it quickly, as well as stayed to make sure the issue was solved. It's only been two weeks but we truly enjoy living here. We've run into some of our neighbors already, and they've all been extremely friendly. We've lived in two other apartments over the past 3 years, but this is the first one that really feels like a home.

My husband and I toured this apartment and fell in love. We were assisted by Ms. Lorin. She explained all of the property features, got us situated with all of our paperwork and made sure we had all the information we needed to make a decision. The apartments are a little smaller in person but are definitely competitive for the area. The amenities make the pricing worth it compared to other places that charge around the same but don’t offer as much.
Property Manager at The Crossings at One, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the positive review and the delightful words about Lorin. We're very happy she is going above and beyond with customer service for both you and your husband. We hope you both love your home here and find a true sense of community. Keep us posted with any questions or concerns you may have. Thanks again.
I have been living here for about two months and I CANT WAIT until my lease is up so I can get far away from here. First things first unless you live on the third floor you WILL be miserable. I live on the second and for the most part, know to be respectful of the people under me but the people above me are disrespectful and stomp like Shrek and Fiona of the swamp. I have spoken to them and thought it would be fixed but it wasn't. I called the leasing office and left a voicemail and was never called back. This is an issue as I wake up early and here they are stomping around. Unfortunately, I have had to take matters into my own hands and it is NOT pretty. 2nd for some reason my microwave power surge is weird, sometimes when I open it the power of the microwave and oven turn off. I couldn't cook for a week because they never got back to me. I had to call my dad to help me figure it out. It wasn't until a month later did they reach out to me. Its truly come to the point where I cant stand it here

We have been living here for a year and it hasn’t been a great experience. We should have known because the issues began even before we signed the lease. We were told that they were running a promotion for a month free with a 13 month lease, so we paid the application fee for them to run our credit. After they ran our credit and we got approved they said they made a mistake and it wasn’t a month free but $500 off first month’s rent. At this point we were stuck, so we had to go through with it bc they refused to refund the application fee. We moved in in June and were told that the construction of the building would be done by August but here we are a year later and they are still not fully done. We had to walk through full blown construction whenever we entered the building which was super embarrassing for us and our guests. We had to carry our garbage up a flight of stairs for months because they didn’t have the proper trash disposal. Not only that, but we moved into a brand new apartment which already had problems.. all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets were scratched and the walls weren’t properly painted. The worst part is that but the building’s heating system does not work in the winter. Every time it snowed our heat stopped working and their excuse was that the design of the unit on the roof is wrong bc it gets blocked by snow and we just had to wait without heat for 3 days for the snow to melt... what?? Shouldn’t that have been thought about before hand? The building is constantly fixing things even though it’s supposed to be brand new units. They already shut our water a few times and every time there are delays so we have to stay without water for 10+ hours. The cherry on top of the cake is that they raise rent prices after all these issues, in the middle of a pandemic! When speaking to management about this they say that they’re doing really well and people are paying the higher prices so they can’t do anything about it. But they go ahead and do promotions for new renters and give them a month free rent, and have no regards for existing tenants who have been living there amongst all the issues. Our experience hasn’t been good and I would not recommend..

On more than one occasion my package was stolen from the mail area in the lobby of my building. There needs to be a camera system in place to avoid this because it’s becoming ridiculous. Some of my packages are too large to fit in a locker or too heavy to transport from the mailroom. I should be able to send packages to my apartment without them being stolen!

I have lived here for 6 months Pros: •Close to train •Nice trees and nature •Parking is not a problem Cons: •Buildings are old(1970s),very creaky floors/thin walls/noisy •Maintenance is unresponsive, asked twice to get our AC looked at. No response. •Renovated apartments are poorly done. •Front door was very hard to close and completely painted white (even the hinges). Old AC unit that leaked water. Grout coming off the tiles of the kitchen and bathroom walls/floors. •The clothes washer they provided shakes and bangs •Hallway smells musky •No cold water coming from faucet. Water and gas gets turned off frequently •Was not allowed to see "renovated" unit before signing lease. •The display apartment wasn't like the one we got •During the winter the buildings are overheated to the point where you have to open a window. These apartments are not worth the money they are asking. Look elsewhere if you want a nice place.

Lived in crossings at one apartments almost 2 years. It was nice to move in into a fully renovated unit. Great location close to everything. The grounds with the huge trees and plenty of green areas were wonderfully taken care of. Parking was never a problem. Even with a few issues at the beginning with heating and AC maintenance guys were great, fast response and problem solving. Sounds wonderful right?? But be aware, extremely thin walls and ceiling made it sound like we had elephants living above. And loud slamming of doors and a neighbor that decided to blast his TV with a surround system caused many sleepless nights, especially for my little girl who would get woken up every few hours. Also the renovation crew was careless and left nails/screws in the parking as a result had two flat tires in my vehicle. Dog poop left around by lazy dog owners (even after the dog park was built). And worst were the roaches, DISGUSTING. Even with fully cleaning the kitchen every night, they would still show up. We had preventative treatment done every few months but they were back within couple of days. If it wasn’t for the roaches it really is a pretty nice place to live for a family.

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to see you had a less than 5 star experience due to inconsiderate neighbors. We take these issues very seriously. Any resident/neighbor that is violating the lease whether it be excessive noise, not cleaning up after a pet or keeping an apartment home in poor housekeeping conditions would be sent the appropriate correspondence to correct the action(s) or face eviction proceedings. We would always insist on knowing if a resident/neighbor is violating the lease thus causing unnecessary hardships on his or her neighbors. Unfortunately, it seems as though you experienced a neighbor that had poor housekeeping and zero consideration for you as a neighbor. We understand you have already moved out, however we always want to investigate anyone that may be causing any lease violations. If you would be so kind as to reach out to provide any specific details you may have so we may investigate, and act accordingly it would be appreciated.
We moved in at the end of July. The complex is very clean and well maintained. We love our apartment and the amenities. Very close to everything and the parking is awesome. The other residents are very friendly and the staff is very responsive. Special thanks to our leasing agent Casey for all his help.

New Clubhouse is a complete homerun! Fitness Center is very state of the art, and the clubroom is very luxurious. Compliments for providing a fantastic new building. The new Dog Park is very cool also so I can let my dog run free in the gated area. The additions to the property over the last 6 months have been great. Your pool party on the 4th was a lot fun, and it seems like we have a really great community of nice people (speaking of those I saw at the party) and your staff are great people. Many thanks and keep it up this is a cool place to live.

The Staff at Crossings at One, has been accommodating, prompt, courteous, professional and extremely helpful especially Amy K. Great Amenities, the grounds are beautiful and maintained. As well as the surrounding neighborhoods. Everything you could need is also in close proximity. I don’t have a shadow of doubt that I have chosen the right community to be a part of. I recommend that anybody who is seeking an apartment in the Fords/ Woodbridge area, go to Crossings at One and ask for Amy.

It’s 7 in the morning I have been here for almost a year and I have been getting random buzzing or echoing sounds in my apartment as well as the corridor where I stay which lasts for 2 to 3 hours today also I have been awake since 4 am because of this annoying and irritating sound it is happening every 2 -3 weeks in a month. Sound is difficult to even record I tried recording but it does not show up in recording it sounds similar to when you keep your mic in front of a speaker or woofer and it goes echoing screeching in the ears making my head dizzy, other fellow residents and me wandered where it came out where is it coming from???? initially when I moved here, but no clue. I have even at times spoke to maintenance to come along and listen to that but they deny or say someone will come shortly but nobody shows up. I have even told some maintenance guys who had been working few months back even they also heard it God knows what sound it is????? If you are also a resident and experienced the same please do report or reply to this post . I have been really Loving?? my stay here but this is the part about which I am very upset ?? please guys ( the Property people)if u are reading this please do something. And fellow residents please u too speak up for this if you agree and experience the same

Me n my husband just moved in here from a different state. In short course of time he had to take a day off n we searched all the properties that we could in a day. Happened to stop by here without going through any online reviews we took a chance here to view the apartments. Lorin at the leasing office took us for a tour of the furnished models, then showed a non-furnished apartment since the choice of apartment were supposed to move in was under renovation. We liked it. Finally on the day of moving in Bobbi from the leasing office helped in completing the formalities and handed over the keys. We were a bit skeptical as to how the apartment would be since we just decided to move in,but to our surprise it was great and worth the wait. We are so happy that we moved in here. And to mention specially Lorin and Bobbi were very sweet; they cleared all our doubts queries that we had helped us out with all that they could.Go ahead and try staying here.

We moved in to the Crossings in September and it’s been a nightmare. Complain about noisy neighbors? You’ll never hear back. Complain about an air conditioner leaking water down your walls and all over your floor? It’ll take them 3 trips to decide to wedge a piece of wood under the AC unit to see if that solves the problem. And our most recent problem has been an actual nightmare. Emergency repairs had them eject us from our home after packing up the entire living room and kitchen. I understand emergencies happen - but there has been no communication. We are shoved into a tiny motel room for who knows how long while a bunch of contractors destroy our home. I doubt I’d be nearly as upset if there were any clear lines of communication. I understand emergency situations. I don’t understand being told a hotel was prepared for us before we were told we needed to leave the apartment. I don’t understand the hotel NOT having a proper reservation for us when we arrived. I don’t understand not hearing a word from anyone since we were forced to leave, other than what boiled down to “Hey can you leave faster?” and then frustration when we needed a full 24 hours to move out of our home. I understand emergencies. But this has been handled horribly. We have had zero communication since being hustled off to a tiny hotel room for...well, who knows how long? We weren’t told. We stopped by tonight to assess the damage. It’s extensive. It goes beyond dirt and stains and broken flooring. The people working in our home used all of our toilet paper and broke our toilet seat. And someone entered our bedroom - somewhere they had no business being - and went into drawers. this is your idea of professionalism? I’m not mad about an emergency situation. I’m upset by the lack of professionalism. I’m upset by the nonexistent communication. And I’m so horribly uncomfortable at the idea of a bunch of strangers traipsing through my belongings as they see fit, as they clearly did in our absence today. I recommend people stay away from this place if they want the slightest idea of what’s going on within their own home.

I lived at Crossings at One for a year. The apartment itself was nice. The junior one bedroom really starts to feel that "junior" size after a bit. The renovated apartments do look very nice. The bathroom and kitchen looked great. However, the way that the kitchen is set up with the baseboard, the fridge door doesn't open enough to get into one of the drawers at the bottom or adjust the shelves, even after having it fixed. My A/C unit slipped on its base, sitting crooked with a slight crack in the corner, and when I called maintenance and someone came to see it, they said it was fine. It did still work fine, but being crooked made it so loud whenever it was running that I was often straightening it out even tho it fell back into place. During the winter, my apartment was so hot that I had windows open or the AC on, even during a snowstorm. I tried turning off the heater dial on the wall, and it did nothing to help. I called about it, was told someone would see to it, and never got word of a visit or any improvement. The hallways trapped smells, like cooking or incense from other apartments. The grounds are maintained well, parking was never a problem. I was told a gym/package center was being built and would be done soon, and as of moving out, it's still not there. Also, I had a package stolen because it was left in the unlocked lobby at the mail boxes; it's as if the building doesn't try to enforce/encourage delivery/postal workers to use the intercom for entrance. The location is great. Overall, for the amount of rent I was paying, it's not really worth it to me.

I'm sure the renovations are lovely but this is still an old building with issues--banging, tapping, ANNOYING pipes. Nothing can be done about that. And the BUGS they can't figure out how to control for how many years? They can't even handle their current problems & they are not concerned about this. Why? Because YOU will be burdened with it & they know there is nothing you can do about it. I see they are very proud of their customer service. Well, they ARE very good at delivering bad news with a smile, being misleading, cutting corners..etc. I have lived on these properties for 3 years. They put people through quite alot. That's an understatement. This includes: 1. Ceiling collapse/flooding-- The construction company they use are SLOBS screw up the piping, leave construction debris on lawn for days, dirt all over carpets, blast loud music. 2. Serious roach outbreak-- I was told directly by pest control company that BUGS LIVE IN THE WALLS. So when they are tearing down your neighbors wall, the bugs move into the next apartment. 3. Loud, banging pipes- loudest at Crossings at Menlo 4. Highly disturbing noise from renovations-- I've had a few of these but believe me ONE IS ENOUGH. Walls are thin! It sounds like there's a drill in your kitchen. Just unbelievable. Renovations have gone on until 9pm when management declares it a "rush" job. This is against township noise ordinances. ILLEGAL practices, insect HEALTH HAZARDS, terrible NOISE. Please be wary of this company. Don't be fooled by the smiles & window dressing.

If you live under anyone else, get ready to hear their whole lives. Everything is old hardwood floors that are super creaky and transfer so much noise. You can hear every foot step people above you take, and if they talk at even a slightly elevated volume, you can pretty much hear every word of their conversation. So you better hope you live under someone quite or considerate (but even then you will hear a lot of noise). Been here for just under 3 years and I honestly can't wait to move out.

This is the best apartment in the area - period. I found this place for my mother and she has loved it since Day 1! Not only is the place super accommodating and clean, but the major props go to the management. They're on top of everything from repair to minor maintenance that would normally be overlooked! Another thing to note is that the neighbors are very respectful and understand that there are "quiet" hours. They are very friendly and easy to get along with! Parking is more than plentiful. Since there are no assigned spots this may be a bit uncomfortable for those that are used to it but I promise you that there will always be parking available. Rent is always reminded to us so that we don't miss out payments and there is even a grace period! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone that asks about it and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Calling to book a tour was so easy and the woman setting up the appointment was not only thorough but she was very personable. Our tour with Amy and Roxanne was a pleasure. They informed us I all fees, amenities and repeatedly asked us if we had any questions. We felt very welcomed here and even before knowing definitively that we would be accepted, we decided not to go to 2 other tours we had scheduled for later the same day. Amy promptly replies to her emails and we can't wait to move in!!!! "You deserve this"

Perfect location! This is a wonderful community with good people, and there has been a lot of recent upgrades. There is a sign out front that there is a new facility being built that is supposed to have a fitness center and resident internet lounge, that sounds great. As a renter, it is always refreshing to see a lot of money being put back into the property. I heard the Mayor make reference to the property in his annual address that the owners are putting in many millions of dollars to upgrade this property and a few others that is good stuff.
