nice updated apartments, maintenance was always super quick (not that we needed it often) but parking sucks after 5pm
I live here and I am trying to move. This new management has destroyed the quality of life here. Under the previous management every thing was tranquil and relaxing however this new management has come in raised rent every year, added on nonsensical fees to every one's application, started a construction project whereby an entire lot is off limits and construction starts at 7:00 AM and runs through 6:00 PM. Things used to be good here but now under this management company they are horrific. And I noticed it says courtyard in this description. I live here and I am telling you there is absolutely no court yard. Do not trust any thing they have written in their description of the complex.

As a first time renter, I began the process with a high level of apprehension and anxiety. However, Rose immediately eased my fears as she walked me through the process to find and secure a gorgeous unit with incredible amenities. I could not have asked for a better experience. We just moved in a few weeks ago and love the space! It has all the amenities you need at a fair price. Rose was AMAZING helping show us the property and taking us through all of the paperwork and move in procedures. She's the best! I have two main complaints. The first and most important issue is the smoking in the complex, both cigarettes and marijuana. The first time they put a draft blocker but this did not work. They also apparently sent a letter to my neighbors but when I asked for a copy, they have refused and ignored this request. So my guess is, they haven't sent anything.Please keep in mind, I have sent multiple requests requesting that something else needs to be done since the smoke enters and makes me sick. But after the first request, they close out all my complaints without even reaching out. I have sent emails and nothing. They are essentially ignoring me. Please remember, NJ law "N.J. Stat. Ann. § § 26:3D-56 to 26:3D-61" prohibits smoking in apartments. So if you want to live with second hand smoke and drug use in your apartment and in your complex please move in. My second compliant is the heating. There is no way to control it. It is either a sauna or freezing. There is no in between. Please keep in mind the vaults do not work. So my advice to you, do not move here.

I love how they jack up the rent 10% every year and put their tenants with kids in an awful situation. 50$ a month for preferred parking spaces. Hiring a towing company to take unsuspecting people's cars away in the middle of the night. Redone units are outrageously overpriced. Ridiculously high late fees of 125$. Even to stay an extra month past the lease incurs a 200$ charge. Any way the owners can screw people out of money they will. Prospective renters beware.

Stay far away. The place isn't maintained at all and the parking situation is horrible. The sneaky tow company comes in the middle of the night drag anyone's car who doesn't have a parking pass. The complex owners think it's prudent to make ppl 50 dollars extra a month for preferred spots. The "new" units are below standard and fixtures are cheap. The walls are paper thin so I hope you like to hear your neighbors having sex. 10% yearly increases in the rent are the icing on the cake.

My boyfriend an I have been at the Crossings for 6 months now and absolutely love it! We have a one bedroom apartment with all new appliances, washer and dryer in unit (!!!), $50.00 for a sticker to park in the lot (street parking is also available even when the lot fills up), beautiful wood floors, and just an overall well-designed area. Fabio, the head maintenance guy here is wonderful. He is responsive, takes care of issues immediately, and follows up. The area surrounding the apartment is safe, and for the most part quiet. We plan on renewing our lease for the next year :)

Fieldstone properties is very pleasant & accommodating. I needed a new ceiling fan and they were very prompt and efficient and this was one of many times they either had to fix or replace something. They did a great job!

The drain gutter on the roof above me bedroom window was leaking during rainy days creating lots of noise by my window. Fabio came in installed new bedroom window blinds, repaired the roof gutter leak and everything has been perfect since. I have been here for 14 years and Fabio has been doing an amazing job keeping up and maintaining the complex. Always polite and willing to answer any questions. He is very helpful.

Fabio is always very helpful, anytime I need help he is very helpful and on time. But, pleae fix the entrace it would help the cars out since there's alarge amount of pot holes.
I never had a problem with mainenance or management. The only thing I would like to see done is if we can please remove the reserved parking if no one is using them. That's extra parking we could use.

I was skeptical about this property but let me tell you the critics are wrong. Leasing was straight to the point, courteous and friendly, and maintenance was quick. I had a lockout because I forgot my key at work and maintenance let me in within 5 mins and that was huge because I was in a rush. Love the property!!!!

Maintenance is fast and informative about what they are replacing or fixing. Even when I have one issue with something in the apartment, Fabio, the maintenance technician always asks if everything is good with my apartment. Living here has been pleasant and cant say enough how the property always looks from day to day.

I live in building 18 and I can tell you the grounds here at the Crossing is well maintained. Fabio the Maintenance Super always likes to make sure everyone is taken care of. this place and this management is the worst. constant rent increase. no parking there are spots but you can't park, they will tow away your car in a heart beat, they send a towing company out at night dressed in black & flashlights to tow away cars. Even know there are empty spots tenants can not park on the premises. It costs you $280.00 to get your car back. Outrageous fees. Poor customer service. Super is way behind in repairs. If you call the offfice you will never get a return call. They don't care about tenants or people they only care about money and evictions I wouldn't recommend this place or any of their properties to my worse enemy

place has zero parking. The complex has a rule of first come first serve however I have witness and talked to some residents about this. They have mentioned that a few residents have more then one car and the max I heard was 4 cars for one person. This takes up valuable parking spots due to greed. The managers at the crossing have done nothing but charge people for reserved spots for 50 dollars extra a month. The rent is already upper 1600 and the accommodations for this amounts is far below acceptable. I would avoid this apartment complex with all cost but if you like headaches and mismanagement be my guest. To the management: Instead of having a rule of first come first serve. Try allowing one spot per room this will help remove excess vehicles. Assign parking to residents so that people know what spot is their. Reserving spots is the dumbest thing I have ever seen for a complex this small. The other night I parked across the street of the complex which is crazy for the amount of money I'm spending

I had several issues with my water in the newly refurbished apartment. Bathroom and kitchen sinks would back up, water would fill the dishwasher and washing machines. I had to call NUMEROUS times to try to get a hold of the property manager to fix the problem. It got to the point where the dishwasher, kitchen sink, and washing machine flooded my kitchen, causing damage to my dining room table. They did refund me for the damage and finally did fix the issue, but it took MONTHS to get their attention. Their management office is in their other complex on the other side of town so in order to pay rent or deal with someone in person you have to drive. It was very confusing trying to get a hold of maintenance because they have two separate numbers for each of the two complexes they own, but I was given the wrong one for The Crossings at Union. Very dissatisfied with the service I received for the price I paid.
3rd world service, environment, not safe, 60-80% smokers, outrageous rent, fees, ridiculous restrictions, "improvements". Increased rent, refuse to make repairs, refuse to replace old broken appliances, trying too hard to get rid of all tenants from the previous landlord. No longer have a super and property manager, only a rent deposit box/slot in irvington. Tenants need to drive to the other side of this irvington to drop off checks. Or pay $30 online convenience fee to pay online, or send certified mail. This place is finished.
