With its spectacular mountain views and numerous palm trees, Chino is a favorite city in San Bernardino County for good reason. The city is adjacent to Chino Hills State Park, a popular area in the Santa Ana Mountains foothills for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Chino is also home to Prado Regional Park, a popular park with a fishing lake, hiking and biking trails, campgrounds, a disc golf course, picnic areas, horseback riding, and a shooting range where shooting events were held during the 1984 Summer Olympics.
As a key city of the Inland Empire, Chino has a long history as a hub for agriculture, especially dairy farming. The city's slogan reflects its agricultural roots: Where Everything Grows. While it is much more suburban today, the city still retains some of its rural feel. The city is award-winning and is often used as a filming location. Downtown Chino hosts a variety of events, including a weekly farmers market.

Property Ratings at The Crossings of Chino Hills
I've spent a full year in this community and I would recommend living here. It does have its pros and cons like any community would. From maintenance, cleaning staff, trash valet, leasing consultants & managers have been so kind and lovely. Apt space: I lived in a one bedroom, size was just right. Not too big nor too small. The kitchen has a lot of storage & counter space which was nice. The island was very spacious and fit 3 barstools. Also a built-in Ring Camera was a plus!! Safety: I ALWAYS saw security at night. There would be times I'd get home around pretty late and would see security. They always rounded the entire community space which is nice. I never had any issues with feeling unsafe in/around my community. Parking: I have 2 cars, one assigned space. I only ever had MAYBE 2 nights where I had to park on the street. Parking wasn't an issue for me. There are first come first serve spots that were always available. Sometimes it could be a walk, but I personally did not mind. I have seen the towing company make their rounds & have seen people get towed. Gym: The gym is very spacious and has the basic equipment you'll need. Many people did not have gym etiquette. Going to the gym daily, I always saw weights on the floor, people did not wipe the equipment after using it. Treadmills would be left on an incline. The floor mats would not be put away. Some machines would break but the staff is pretty quick on fixing them. Dog Park: It's a nice dog park although MANY owners do not pick up after their pets. It's disappointing that they'd leave the staff to clean up their mess. There was always poop everywhere in the dog park. Concerns: - SKUNKS. Year round there was always skunks. My dog got sprayed by a skunk at the dog park. They spray around the entire community and it stunk so bad anytime i'd open my windows. - ROACHES. During the summer there were so many roaches around the entire community. As I would walk my dog, I would see many roaches. - I lived close to the leasing office parking & many people would drive in blasting music at 5am and as late as 11pm. You could hear the freeway slightly. Many people get pulled over for speeding on the long road by the temple. - Living on a second floor, you could hear your upstairs neighbor walk around, their pets run at night too. - Price. our lease would've jumped +$260 which is insane for how small the apartment is. That is NOT including all the fees they charge on top of rent.
I currently live here, its been 3 months since I moved in. This place looks nice and new in person and in photos. However, what they avoid telling you (even if you ask them before hand) about noise between the floors. Unless you live on the 3rd floor be prepared to have your patience tested. The construction of the building is pretty poor in terms of floor quality, you literally hear every thump and creak of your upstairs neighbors. God forbid that your upstairs neighbors have the updated wood flooring in the bedrooms because you will hear that too, at all hours of the day and night.
I am so glad we moved here! This property is well taken care of and has awesome amenities.
We really love this community. We have great neighbors. They have security. The property is gated. They have a great dog park. Friendly staff, good maintenance, all in all, we are very pleased.
I feel like family here. They truly care about you. They don’t accept packages in the leasing office. But if they are left in the locker room, they will bring them in. They call you so nothing happens to it. The property is always clean. The dog park is great. I really truly feel like I made the right decision moving here.
We moved in here on a last-minute decision. We didn’t know what to expect or what we got into. We are pleasantly surprised and thrilled with our decision. We had an issue with maintenance and within hours, they were at our door to fix the problem. Anytime we have an issue, we call or email the office and its dealt with promptly. We have no regrets.
We love it here. The staff is nice. The property is beautiful. The amenities are great. We don’t mind paying high rent, it’s worth it to us.
We are very happy here. We decided to renew our lease for another 18 months . We truly feel like we matter. The staff is very friendly and maintenance is on point.
We have lived here for almost 8 months. I truly commend the Management for doing such a great job and always going the extra mile. Keep up the great work. Thanks Guys.
I've lived here for 7 months - things went down hill the first week. Property management staff is rude and unwilling to help. They threaten their tenants with fees for not following rules they placed after the fact and never disclosed in the lease. Also, they say certain things are allowed when touring/before signing, then once you move in, it's an issue and not allowed. This place is a joke, don't waste your time.
This place is amazing. Clean, quiet and very relaxing. It’s like living at a resort. Cynthia and Dinicia are awesome to work with.
