Property Ratings at The Crossings
The condition of the driveway is slightly better than the rods in Jackson. The washer and /or barely work so be prepared to pay multiple time to run the same load.
When I moved to Vicksburg I had very short notice. Management got me into an apartment 3 weeks earlier than expected. I loved my apartment, everything was very well kept/clean. If I had lived in Vicksburg longer I would have stayed as long as possible here. Fantastic experience.
This apartment looks good from the outside. The grounds are kept up. They do bug and pest control pretty often. I cannot speak for other units but mine is horrible. At the time of this review my thermostat is reading 85. Yes I am upstairs and facing the sun throughout the afternoon but after complaining numerous times about the air conditioning freezing up they installed a new condenser outside and said the old one was leaking. Now even with a new unit we are still dealing with 78 to 85 degree temperatures in our apartment with the AC set on 65. We asked the maintenance man to look at it and he told us its doing all it can do and that we're not the only ones with this same problem. I guess they just expect you to live in 80 temps at there apartments as long as your paying. We are currently looking for somewhere else. I would HIGHLY advise against the crossings unless you get a downstairs unit facing away from the sun then you might get lucky. The only positive thing I can say is that the manager is nice and helped us out by letting us pay a few days late once when my paycheck fell a couple days past being late on the rent.
