The building is well-maintained, and the staff is wonderful. However, the laundry room is difficult to deal with. At times, there are too many machines that need servicing.

This building has a lot of character. No cookie cutter apartments here. Amenities include a gym and a yoga room and services are available. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This includes front desk and management office. Maintenance is quick. We like coming home.

I like living here but I haven't been here too long yet. I enjoy the location and the rent price. Getting packages is a little difficult but I understand and respect why. I would prefer more storage especially in the kitchen. I don't mind the on site laundry but it is kinda expensive.

Just moved in and LOVING it so far. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The management office was amazing during our touring, leasing signing, and move in process.
Great place to live! Very safe and my favorite part is there are lots of dogs in the building. Makes me very happy. Not to mention the views of the lake and rooftop are amazing.

It's a nice place. I've lived here for 2 years and found it easy and safe to live here. The location is pretty nice too, near the lake, park, and downtown.

I just moved in about 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love this building and the neighborhood! There is so much to do that is walking distance and it’s very convenient especially when I don’t have a car. Love it here!

I chose The Deco because it captured all my requirements. 1. Safe neighborhood 2. Fabulous view 3. Proximity to public transportation 4. Vintage chic vibe My experience as a resident here has far surpassed my must haves in a rental unit. The staff are the absolute best!!! Maintenance is extremely responsive and the building is well maintained and kept extremely clean. Best decision since moving to Chicago 8 years ago.

Great apartment building. The lobby is so nice and smells great. The rooftop is amazing. The door staff are very kind. The elevators move quickly. Theres a cute convenience store in the first floor as well.

Everyone is very friendly here in this community, it’s a fantastic location and the amenities are great there’s a real sense of community with a residence and staff, the on-site convenience store has a lot of great options for food, wine, snacks, hot coffee, and breakfast to go. Dog, friendly, and the laundry and workout facilities are clean and spacious
Everyone in the building from the leasing office to maintenance is so kind and our 24 hour front desk members are also one of a kind! I have enjoyed my time so far here and can’t wait to see what else there is so love about this building!
I've lived at the Deco for 6 months now and I have nothing but positive things to say. The entire staff is amazing and kind, it's very easy to get packages and the convenience of having the store is wonderful!
Great building with decent amenities and reasonable pricing for the location. On site staff is great. Lot of construction that goes on/consistent issues they have to fix though.
I’ve lived in apartments for almost half my life. But never a building as beautiful, clean, and friendly as this one. The lobby is absolutely charming and I keenly anticipate visiting the rooftop. Already I’m thinking about a series of lake sunrises in every season. The building is just over a hundred years old. It’s maintained well, clean, efficient, and in good working order. But the mode of living was very different then. The kitchen is laughably small, with about half the shelf and counter space today’s cooks are used too. My kitchen has a single electric outlet. I can plug in a coffee machine and a waffle maker at the same time, but I can’t use electricity to grind more beans without unplugging one of them. So it’s elegance, beauty, friendliness, and convenience: pick three. I can live without perfect convenience.
Amazing experience. Would recommend to anyone! Friendly staff, nice amenities, spacious units, nice appliances. The deco is in the perfect location and is beautiful.
It’s an absolute blast living here! The management team is extremely supportive and responsive. Maintenance is always on call and knows their way around the building as if it’s their own home! So many amenities and the area of the city is the best I’ve ever seen. You won’t regret moving here, everyone’s super cheerful and so nice! Plus they decorate the lobbies every season and go all out! It’s my 3rd year living here and I don’t regret it one bit!

Every single staff member is so welcoming! The location is the perfect walking distance to Old Town or Michigan Ave, and there is a bus right outside which is so convenient.
3rd year living here and still in love! staff is so sweet and helpful, packages are organized and monitored with a great system, amenities are great. the rooftop view is to die for. and the maintenance is quick and efficient. clean and lively, this is a great place to live!
