While located at the heart of one of the region’s biggest cities, Central West End is mostly residential, with most of the landscape filled with single-family homes. Apartments tend to be very affordable, and rental houses tend to be quite reasonable as well.

The community itself as in the people and management are good, amenities are also nice. But the building is not anything special my apartment isn’t even sealed to the elements I have plastic and tape covering windows as they have large gaps to the outside allowing freezing winter air in and you’re just cooling the outdoors in summer with air running constantly. Managements maintenance are the ones that taped it up as a solution over 6months ago and nothing has been mentioned about proper repairs. All that and they still had the cheek to ask if I’d like the early renew the lease at an increased dollar value of course.. I am concerned that they may just remove the plastic leaving the big gaps exposed again and try to con someone into leasing it. They require a major window frame repair to 4 different frames that are only holding in patches. Hopefully people will notice it before leasing next time. There’s also a vent in the bathroom that must connect to other appartments as there is constantly the stench of weed coming from it. Most days you can also smell weed in the common hallways so people must be smoking indoors which is against their lease contracts… There’s also a few delinquents that live in the building across the street “delmar divine” that like to shoot guns in the air late at night literally like that meme where the guys like “keeping property values down” (I’ve witnessed it from my window)

I have truly enjoyed almost every single aspects of this apartment, from the convenience of the location, the various amenities, the friendly and helpful staff, to the layout of the apartment. I have lived at many apartments and dealing with different leasing companies but the property managers and staff here are truly the best, Diana and Kim go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need, they even put up different events every month for the tenants. There’s a lot of study spaces to take advantage of and free Starbucks machine! There obviously have been issues coming up here and there like anywhere else but for the things they have control over, they put genuine efforts in and make sure it’s resolved ASAP. So overall I believe all the pros overweigh the few small cons, I highly recommend!

I know how hard it is to find a decent apartment with good upkeep. Management is mostly on top of issues — big and small — and they’re very friendly. It’s in an area central to just about everything you need. Security has been an issue with car break-ins but they’ve acted in good faith trying to keep security tight. Have lived here for over a year and have very few complaints with The Delmonte.

Since I've moved in, my family and I have felt accepted and taken in by the community at The Delmonte. This is in part due to the natural friendliness of many of the habitants, and partly a result of the community building events scheduled by the administration team. Before moving to STL, I did not realize how important it would be for me to feel safe, but I am fortunate that the security measures at The Delmonte are very helpful in helping me feel secure. The administration team has done a fine job of responding to our concerns surrounding our apartment. Our needs are always responded to even if delayed.

I’ve lived here for about 2 years and it keeps getting better!! The apartment is an updated, modern style at an affordable price. There are many amenities offered, and events put on by management to create a great community. Only a block away from Forest Park!!

I have lived at the Delmonte for two years. I have made some really good friends in this building. This building has a good atmosphere. It is always kept clean and in a good manner. The building is super close to forest park and minutes away from the loop. There is a endless amount of things to do that are super close by. I have not had any noise issues or really anything of major concern while living here. I would book a tour if you can.
