Property Ratings at The Depot At Nickel Plate
Nice apartments. Walking distance to restaurants. Parking in garage is an issue with not enough spots. Not very clean or well maintained. Incompetent management.
I recently moved to Fishers from the South East side and I am more than happy with the Depot in Fishers. The amenities are crazy and the place looks like a hotel. I really enjoy bringing my family and friends here and have even made quite a few friends with residents. If you are looking for something luxurious with a great walking score and access to fun social life, this is the place.
Fire alarm goes off at least once a month in the middle of the night for no reason. If you have more than 1 car you have to pay extra for a parking spot unless you want to walk 10 minutes. Apartment is nice but very cheap.
First off, the apartments are great and well made, for the most part. Second, as a disabled combat veteran, we were forced out of our lease due to the management currently running the apartments ... I was a liability according to the apartment management and Flaherty and Collins. The apartments are in a great location, but unfortunately, if you're treated unfairly due to issues sustained from serving in the military, it's hard to stay and love a place like the Depot at Nickel Plate. I hope upper management can make a change to the management structure in this property, but we'll see.
More of a luxury hotel than an apartment, this place is not for the faint of heart. You won't find a landlord wielding a sawed-off shotgun sporting a ketchup stained tanktop here. If you can walk and chew gum at the same time, this place will fulfill your wildest fantasies. There is a gym here that rivals LA Fitness, but I must admit its tough for me to concentrate in there with all of the eye-candy walking around. I actually fell off the treadmill the other day. No wonder I cant lose any weight. Its a shame I can't attach pictures to this review. The secluded Saltwater pool is a great place to unwind too. Plenty of shenanigans going on out there every afternoon in the summer. Don't these people have jobs? I can't possibly do this place justice by writing a review. Its a must see. The management company has thrown parties and fed us dinner twice now since I have been here too. I'm guessing that never happened over at your hole-in-the-wall down on East Washington St? The actual apartments are pretty sweet too.... wood floors, granite counter tops, brand new stainless steel appliances, free coffee, computers, gaming, outdoor TV lounges and firepits. The location is prime too. Several bars within walking distance so you don't have to drink and drive or risk getting picked an Uber driver who doesn't have a high-school diploma. The surrounding town is nice too. Not like trying to stumble down the Monon at 3am on your way home from Broadripple. Sure, you'll probably pay more here than you do at your rat-infested dump currently, but you get what you pay for and honestly, its pretty comparable to everywhere else in this area. You're wasting your time looking elsewhere.
The apartments are pretty good having ultra luxurious facilities ranging from Gym, Swimming Pool, Game Room, Coffee Area, Yoga room and Fitness studio. The staff is very friendly and professional. Crystal is a great manger and know how to handle things right. Other than that In door parking and events almost every another day adds to the positives. Negative are a little higher electric bill and you have to pay for valet trash service wether you use it or not. What's add to that is that the trash guy doesn't even show up a lot of times.
Every amenity you could possibly want from gym, pool, game room, beautiful common areas, shops, restaurants, zen garden, bike rental and indoor garage access. The apartments themselves are clean and constructed using top notch materials. Every unit has a washer and dryer inside. Stainless steel appliances. Not to mention you're downtown Fishers with easy access to anything! Love it here!
My wife and I recently moved into thedepot in the nickel plate district of fishers, IN this month. We absolutely love it! With the cold weather we will have an indoor parking garage which is great! Wonderful ammenities. We get a lot of use out of the gym which is very well equipped as well as the yoga studio. Walking distance to great sushi and many other restraunts and shopping. Only a quarter mile to the interstate which can be taken to downtown indianapolis in around 20 minutes. But location is about 5 minute from anything you could want. Granite counter tops are nice and rent is more affordable then downtown. I would highly recommended the depot if you are moving to the fishers indianapolis area
The depot has great floor plans . My wife and I recently moved into the switch floor plan and we love it! Can't beat the large soaking tub and double sinks. Pool is gorgeous and the gym is very well eqquipped. Great price point and easy access to restraunts and shopping.
